can't open the app
Annoying to set up. The app asks endless questions about your habits and such without the option to skip and do it your way. Questions are repetitive too. By the time I finally got to the end, I was so annoyed with the experience, that I deleted the whole thing.

waaayyyyyy to many ads. I was bombarded non stop to subscribe and ads. hundreds of vendors tracking also getting access to your data.

After opening the app you are bombarded by AI slop for 15 minutes before you can even use anything. 15 minutes straight of data harvesting, with AI generated images, million options that nobody asked for. I used to use Fastic for years way back before AI slop started being pushed down everybody's throats, I loved that app then and it helped me a lot in the past, but I do not think I will ever come back to this load of bs. Uninstalled as soon as I could.

unable to cancel my subscription. when you go to manage subscription it just buffers the whole time. do not pay for it because you will be unable to cancel. it's kind of a scam.
I accidentally paid for a one year subscription 1 how ago. I've been trying to cancel it but it won't let me. I'm frustrated and feel like I've been taken advantage of. please cancel my subscription and give me my money back!
Really frustrating experience with Fastic. I got charged twice for my subscription after an account merge error on their end, and customer support hasn’t been helpful at all. They keep sending generic replies and not actually addressing what I’m saying or fixing the issue. They are saying they only see one order but I have two and its charged on my bank avcount. I just want a refund for the duplicate charge, but they keep going in circles. Super disappointing.
It takes 30 minutes to set up with a ridiculously long questionnaire. Been using it for two days but honestly the amount of ads and popups is unbearable, every food item logged, every start and end fast time.

After downloading the app I was greeted by an abundance of Ai slop features. I was told it was free but when actually going through the app you HAVE TO start the 3-day free trial to actually access the app and its free features. I started the trial and cancelled right after. After the expiration of the trial, however, I was still charged the $40. I don't know if being charged was a true error, regardless, this strategy just proves that the app has little merit on its own.
Ridiculously long and tedious onboarding only to find out it's not actually free. Google play seriously needs to require apps that require a subscription to be marked as paid.
Used to be a useful app. I used it plenty years ago but now its bogged down by subscriptions and other similar nonsense. You shouldn't have to add your payment info and be forced into a 3 day trial so you can try and scam forgetful people out of a few dollars. Just let people use the basic version if they want lol.
Used the basic free level a few years ago and liked it. Reinstalled today and it won't let me access anything without some form of payment. Don't say free trial then try to charge me. Couldn't get past the payment screen, so uninstalled it. Also disappointed in all the AI it now uses. AI is an environmental disaster, please stop using it.

Unable to cancel subscription, the page is just a never ending loading screen. Convenient considering thats not an issue anywhere else in the app. The app is buggy. I forgot to start my timer for a fast and now when I go to update it, it says fasting times are overlapping although it doesn't show it in my history. Another thing, even though you can click do not consent to the "legitimate interest" choices, it does not save it. Why give the option if we can't change it.
couldn't get out of the paid version screen. it didn't change me anything but burned 20 min of my time and then only had paid options. it used to have a free version. immediately uninstalled

I'm trying to manage my subscription, but the page just keeps spinning and spinning. The app is up to date, I've tried force stopping it, and nothing is working. What do I do?
I loved how it gamified intermittent fasting. But when I got the app again a couple days back, it was quite frustrating because there was no way to say no to signing up for fastic plus subscription. I tried closing the app and relaunching but would still be stuck at that page. Finally decided to just sign up with plan to cancel it during the 3 day trial. But no matter how many different times I tried to open Manage Subscriptions, it won't load. And emails to Customer Service are unanswered.

The core functionality is there, but the inevitable rot that seems to set into all software over time is well established here.

nope. I specifically googled free fasting apps. I never imagined that I would have to fill out a lengthy quiz only to be forced into a subscription without ever having seen how the app works. it is not free at all. I understand it costs money to keep up with things but it should not be presented as free with additional in-app purchases. you can't use it at all without paying.
A UX nightmare. There's too much going on with very little benefit. Clean up your UI and stop shoving ads down our throat.
This was a 5* app, accurate and great to use. Since the last update the calorific calculator is way off whack. It's almost unusable it's so far off. Examples: picture of an avocado and prawn sandwich taken in Feb = 475cal, exactly the same one taken 27 April = 1079cal. In your latest update something has gone wrong -badly.
I really like Fastic. I was wondering though, as someone who is motivated by goals, if there is a way to see the future levels I can earn. and if there are plans to increase it further. I read it was Guru but can't find anything definitive online.
Way too many ads
used this a while back and it was ok, now you have to watch ads use a stopwatch hidden among the other ads. it actively helps you not fast by letting you use "frostys" to keep your "success" streak.
