please make this for free it will be great.
The app only focuses on ingredients not manufacturing. Several times the app said it was safe for Celiac disease but the company website actually says it's not.
No good. They force you into a free trial just to check out the features. Seems scammy to me.
It really is a lame app compared to others in the same category but my all time favorite about this app is how it collects every user's biometric before the pay to play reveal. Solid legal loophole. Now just tap and hold that thumb/finger, whatever tf you wanna use, just a bit longer... almost there.... just a little bit longer... 🤣 we can't wait to sell this $$$... keep going you're doing great!! and yes, we're so much better than the rest.. nope, you need to tap just a little more...
app worked up until they charged me and now it won't load.
yet another health tool behind a pay wall
I was so happy to find this app. only to realize its extremely difficult to navigate and there is no back button when any function is selected. I reached out to the support team, and instead of helping me, they treated me like an idiot. The way they acted towards me was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was on the paid plan to. unfortunately, they have lost a customer.
Free trial essentially costs you $10. If you sign up for the free trial it cost $60 a year afterwards. $50 without the free trial.
Why should we have to pay to use a scan app for food?Stupid and ridiculous.I'm deleting this app
you could actually provide a free version
So sick and tired of their illegally undisclosed ads on TikTok. You're not sly. If there was one "wellness girly" making slideshows that'd be fine, but the dozens and dozens of IDENTICAL posts of Slide 1:"Come grocery shop with me!" Slide 2:"This popcorn is to die for" Slide 3, 5, and 6: Fig ad
have to pay
Should an app really cost money if I didn't choose this allergy? Let alone, should it even cost that much?
I can't believe I have to pay
I had high hopes for this app as I had 2 new diagnosises that required diet changes. I even paid the subscription fee in hopes it'd get me off to a great start. The app NEVER opens. When it does open on RARE occasions, it either wants me to pay another subscription or it has 0 foods logged when the items are scanned. I've canceled BOTH subscriptions.
NOTHING FOR HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE/DASH DIET...WOW
anything I scanned not major names was not available
I didn't find this efficient
I had this app for about 14 months. It was great and served it's purpose. I canceled recently as I no longer need it, but I'm still getting charged. What do I have to do to stop the charges. I don't even have the app on my phone anymore. I deleted it after I canceled it.
I already signed up for free trial and created an account. Tha app does not give me the option of signing in with said account. It wants to sell me another subscription. Completely useless. Uninstaller, canceling subscription.
Not free, couldn't use
I am disappointed that you pray on the most vulnerable and try to pry money out of the wallet that they barely even have to begin with. Having a chronic condition is not cheap, shame on you. Go look at the Yuka app and see what you can do better.
useless without an account.
Apps that require payment at any time to use it need to disclose it PRIOR to making an account.
I gained 50 pounds because my free trial ran out and I was charged $200 for the annual fee and stress ate myself so much that I couldn't handle it from the anxiety this app engulfed me in.
scam they always want money!!!!! ridiculous and waste of time.
I've been managing PCOS since I was diagnosed at 14 years old. I honestly downloaded the app out of curiosity. Finding out after downloading the app that there is not a free version of the app to try for more than a week in an economic state where we are already overburdened by monthly subscriptions is maddening. One week is one shop, my dude. I need a month to see how I feel. If you're confident in your service, then offer a 30-day trial that simply ends without enrolling in the subscription.
app says its free...its really 4.99 per month
Scam.. will not allow you to cancel within the trial period. Then you email them and they say to follow the same steps you just followed and it again does not cancel the subscription.
not into having to pay for a subscription just to use the app. useless but thanks for the 7 day free trial offer lol
I'm not a freeloader mad because I had to pay for something for once. This app does have a few shady practices that scream scummy. In the restaurants portion you can't view any until you put in a review yourself, which screams review padding. They also participate in the predatory practice of requiring payment info for a free trial that will automatically kick in unless you specifically go in and cancel. Screams preying on the elderly and forgetful. Bare website with blog last updated in 2024
every option except carnivore. as a carnivore, I am highly offended.
didnt work
it's not free and for a person who's on a fixed income with medical needs nutrition-wise where they're limited on what they can and can't eat $60 isn't feasible
I love the app however I think it's wrong of you to make us pay so much money for a subscription just because we have food allergies y'all should be ashamed of yourself I understand you have to make money but your little redonkulous on the price
Couldn't even start anything because I'm berated by "Please Rate Us" so here I am. Finally got to the next screen and wouldn't let me process the "Free Trial" without charging me for a year. I'm an electronic engineer- I'm not stupid. You guys need to make better compliancy and ease of use for the trial.
Will this app scan for food made with GMO's?
I signed up for free trial. trial is up and was charged 65 dollars. I went into the account to cancel because it wasnt what I wanted and it says I don't have an account. edit I've blocked further transactions. they claim I don't have an account but took 65 dollars out of my account.
I would like to say add all conditions with dietary requirements I downloaded this thinking it would be able to tell me what snack have high sodium as I have pots (postural orthostatic tacacardia syndrome) which requires a high sodium diet and it's not on the app for anything of the sort to list as a diet requirement so please add all dietary requirements for all conditions and all conditions with dietary requirements
The evaluation process is through, potentially long and even educational. However, one cannot proceed to the next step without agreeing to terms and clicking "try it for free" (for 7 days) without even seeing any pricing. I'm not comfortable agreeing to anything, having never seen a price. So I have no idea what's on the following page. Too bad, looked like it had potential. This grifter mindset all of the online marketers have ruining opportunities for people with good intentions.
not free as described in ad
the grocery store section is all locked. how am i supposed to get good food at my grocery store if i don't know what they have because of this. only a few scans a month is not okay. when you end the scans you'll be buying food and searching for whever or not its good for you. if you want your app to succeed don't make almost all of your features cost money.
A paid subscription to an app that basically looks up the ingredient list for the package you're holding in your hand by the UPC code, and runs a keyword search for your diet against what is printed an inch away on the same label. It might be worthwhile if you have a complicated list of ingredients on your "no" list, or if you're eating a lot of highly processed foods with long ingredients lists. But I certainly don't see the value for my situation.
