My game crashed every time I tried to turn in one of the first sub quest from Ramuh. I cannot progress due to this.

Nothing to do with Final Fantasy Dimensions. This is just a cheap flash game. No exploration, you just select the quest through a basic menu and it load a boring series of battle waves with a typical JRPG chat before and after the battles. It is really the gameplay of a free game for a premium price. Sadly, the refund option is not available... They really used the name of a great game to get our money with a generic Android JRPG.
Feels like a free-to-play. Unbelievable step down in quality from the first. The battles are changed to be simpler, more basic and the whole game is just menus and battles. It's truly terrible and I am angry to have wasted my money. Just don't buy it, seriously.
It's pretty bad. This game felt like a rushed version of FF Mystic Quest. The characters are uninteresting, skills appear to be randomly allocated, the story was boring. Just go play FF Dimensions 1 instead. Even if you've played it before already, another playthrew of that game will be better than this game. (Note I didn't finish this game, I got bored and stopped playing in the middle of chapter 2.)
I'm 20 hrs into the game now and it's still sucky. Save your money and get something else. All in all, craptacular. The first FFD was a great throwback to the original FF games right from the start, this is nothing like that. Its like a combination of the mobil games FFRK and FFBE but you have to pay for it. Unsurprisingly the story seems good which is usually the case with Final Fantasy but 2 hrs in I rank this well below 1992s Final Fantasy Mystic Quest.
Oh am I supposed to buy it per every device I want to play it on? Same account for tablet and phone yet it wants me to buy it again just to play it on my phone

PlayStation 4 controllers cannot be used so it's useless to me.

What happened to the original final fantasy, look and feel of this game. It sucks. Final fantasy dimensions is way better.
In a word: unplayable. No, seriously. The aspect ratio of the screen cuts off the entire perimeter of the gameplay and UI, denying you access to necessary buttons and menu functions. In otherwords, it is literally impossible to play this game on your phone. And given that the last update was in 2017, this game is essentially dead content. It should be removed from the Google Play Store and anyone who paid for it should be given a full refund. For shame, Square Enix.
I can't play it because of the screen ratio. I literally can't see how much HP my top character has and it cut off the auto button as well. I think the menu button is also no longer visible. I remember on my pixel 3 it was bad, but I could still hit the buttons, even though they were about 70-80 percent off off-screen, but this is way worse. I can't even save the game when I want to and I'm at the mercy of the auto save. Are there any plans to fix this or no?

Unplayable because it doesn't fit the screen anymore. SE could fix this in under a day but they choose not to. They essentially stole my money. Shameful.
Love FF series. As with most other reviews. Poor resolution scaling. Can't see full screen. Update and correct this issue and perhaps you have a working game.
Can't play it as there is no option to resize the resolution. Amateurish mistake. Do not buy if you have a modern phone. Maybe they'll update it one day?
I used to play this game alot and the screen ratio was on point now i have the LG Stylo5 and the ratio is way too off. I cant see to play the game. Plz fix.
cant play at the moment screen is zoomed. I have s9+ Posted this last year Now I'm on an s20 plus and the game still don't fit the phone screen like its to far zoomed in.

Totally horrible. Aspect ratio was off. Cant even see certain functions at the top and bottom of the screen. Gameplay was totally off. Disgrace to final fantasy. What a rip off from squareenix. This game is so bad, its a disgrace, in fact its a rip off. Thanks square enix for ripping people off
The game is cut of on my note 10+ i cant even see one of my chatacters hp bar its so bad.
Can't play that aspect ratio is off can't see anything on the top of the screen. And I can't refund because I didn't play the game right away after I bought it.

Not Optimized For Aspect Ratio, no settings to change ratio, can't see icons on Galaxy Note 10. Had to get a refund because it is unplayable.

Really bad, nothing like the original Dimensions, regret buying it, it's unfortunate that Square Enix just seem to publish stuff like tgis trying to squeeze money out of fans rather then delivering what people actually want

The first FFD was a fantastic throwback, this is bad in so many ways that I may reach the character limit on this review if I try to list it all.
Screen is too stretched out to fit on screen. Please add 16:9 ratio for app. I've also emailed this issue several months ago but still no response...
TERRIBLE!!! Nothing like the 1st. this is legit a downgrade of FF Brave Exvius. No freedom to walk around. its stage quests based. SAVE YOUR MONEY NOT WORTH IT!!!

A pay to play converted to pay up front. FF used to be quality but now Square Enix will license to anyone. It's not even related to dimensions and you can let auto do all the work. Bottom line: avoid like other recent releases in Final Fantasy.

Unimaginative and boring. Borrows HEAVILY from the actual final fantasy games, even for naming NPCs. No challenge to be found, even in post game, optional content, which drags on and feels like a chore. The dialogue is TERRIBLE. It reads like it was written by a child. The only improvement on the train wreck that was FFD1 is its 100% made for mobile and csn be picked up and put down easily. It isnt engaging at all though, so that makes it even easier to put down.
