Got to the second village and first encounter with two skeletons just destroyed me one hit whole party. My quicksave was nowhere to be seen and at no point could I use SAVE. Just dreadful experience.

When disabling Play services, then it doesn let me play offline. This is DRM.

error immediately upon opening. no refund. i paid and you will NOT get my money while i get nothing in exchange. time to put on my eyepatch and hit the high seas!!! its a PIRATEs life for me!!!! 😉

Game doesn't save properly. you will spend more time fighting with the save system than actually in game monsters. It's shocking how this game just doesn't get auto saving right. you have to manually save every time. and one you load that save, it's gone. If you die you start the game from scratch. I don't have the patience to start a 4th time. knowing even if I progress far into the game, I'll undoubtedly have my fave days deleted by the game.
$15 is steep for a clunky game. Forced job changes, limited spell use, and everything else the other people that rated it poorly on. I couldn't bother to continue

So why does this app all of a sudden need access to my contacts?
Literally one of the worst games I've ever played. If you want an old style rpg then Ara Fell is way better (not sure if it's on Android though). If you took away the Final Fantasy name and put a different title on this, then no one would give it a second look Quite simply for nostalgia heads only. I'm from slightly before the NES era, so old style games don't bother me. Terrible gameplay design choices misleading you constantly in to one hit deaths and back to the start screen is dumb.
I was alarmed to see that this is not the game I purchased in 2012. Will stick to ROMs in the future. I do not suggest purchasing from this developer.
Game won't save
Got to a part in game ahere boss in 2 turns performed a perfect combo to silence my healer kill my main damager and sleep my fastest which killed me entire full hp party. All based on random chance of boss landing those moves. Literally nothing you can do but die and lose an hour of yiur time yiu cant save before this fight.
Wow. Ok. So I used a cloud save, got some progress, wandered into an area I shouldn't, getting hit hard, I try to run but can't, get wiped out in 3 turns, and now my cloud save is gone too? So I lost hours of progress, because I explored. Im a long time final fantasy fan and for a 3d remake you guys did this? I expected more. I want a refund

Bad experience. I saved to the cloud 3 different times leading up to my death and not a single one of them actually saved lol. The game is annoying to have to restart and read all these stupid dialogues again. Not fun! I want to buy another game but not sure I can trust it will work properly so I am going to pass.

I really like this game, but the saving system has to be updated please.
I love this game for the DS and steam, but this version is filled with issues. The main issue I've noticed is the text constantly running past the text box, though it also lags a bit due to requiring internet for some reason, and the combat is extremely slow (though, it was also slow in the original 3D remake). I do personally think the combat would heavily benefit from a speed-up option. For now, I'd just recommend buying the original DS version, which is actually cheaper than this port.
Good game but a few issues. The double side move touch isn't that great.. better than a single fixed stick but needs work. FFT WoTL has the best touch screen capability. No original sound option for music. When selecting the next or previous arrow in game menu the animation is sickening, I literally get a headache watching it, just change the details don't shift the entire screen. No option for walk only, it would be nice to see a walk only option. So far that's all I got. 6+hrs deep

Game took 45 minutes to beat
Ok FF game, job system is cool but lot's of grinding. Can't access the secret super boss though as Mognet is broken. I have the 4th,5th,4th,4th,2nd,and 3rd letters (in that order) but can't seem to make any further progress no matter what I try.
