Both Final Fantasy IV and TAY suck. If all features added to Final Fantasy VII were to be added here, then I could have copious amounts of fun and these games would have a ton of replay value. But since Square Enix fails to see this. YOU ARE DONE!
I played this game before on Sumsung Galaxy Note 10 and everything is perfect. Now I change to Samsung Galaxy S24+ but the game can't play properly. All charactors are in white color. Please check and fix the bugs.
Keeps freezing at certain points within 2 characters, Yangs and Paloms, stories. Uninstall/ reinstall, still does som even after totally restarting game, from the beginning. Leaving no way to finish the story. If it had not been so long since I purchased the game, I'd ask for a refund. Seems to be the same for most square enix mobile games, something always going wrong. Good luck getting a reply from them.

Please fix the soft lock glitch on the mist cliff section of Kain's tale so the game can be progressed through to the other chapters. Otherwise I will have no choice but to uninstall the game because it is unplayable at this point. It's a shame, too because I really enjoy this adaptation of final fantasy.
Can't get past mist cliffs. Glitches half way up and you get stuck on the stones sticking out of the wall.
Rather have the 16 bit looking one but it's ok . But the Mist cliffs are very bugged . You stop jumping halfway and get stuck there .
No Bluetooth controller support , kinda sad because the game seems like it would be fun . Unplayable until this is fixed
I just got done reporting you to the federal trade commission for selling a bogus game that doesn't fully work. Being in Japan won't save you from this one. Stranded me with an inconvenient glitch. If you fix my game, you'll get a better rating. Maybe I'll screen record this bs and advertise it for others to see what kind of stupidity you push on your customers. I recommend euthanizing some programmers.
Right now I think everyone is having an issue at the mist cliffs. I keep getting stuck. Please fix or send a suggestion for a fix.
Bugs in Kains Tale, using galaxy s22. In cliffs in Mist, Ceodore and the hooded guy dont do all jumps and I get stuck in ledge.
THERE IS A MAJOR GLITCH IN KAINS TALE! WHEN YOUR JUMPING ROCK FROM ROCK ON MIST CLIFF YOU GET STUCK IN THE SAME SPOT. IVE RESTARTED THE GAME AND CHAPTER AND STILL GET STUCK. YOU CAN NOT PROGRESS IN KAINS TALE BECAUSE OF THIS. OTHER PEOPLE ARE ENCOUNTERING THE SAME GLITCH. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!!!
I was really enjoying this until I encountered a game breaking glitch that means I now can't finish the game. During the Mist Cliff section of Kain's Tale the player character is supposed to jump up the cliff to progress but instead the character hops partway up and then stops which softlocks the game. Tried starting that tale over but the same thing happened again. This needs to be fixed in an update as the game is currently impossible to finish.
It's a great game but I'm on kains tale now and on mist cliff while jumping rock to rock I just get stuck and can't do anything, I've tried reseting the whole chapter and nothing I keep getting stuck at the same spot. If you could fix that it's a awesome game otherwise the game can't be completed and stuck on kains tale.
No external/ 3rd party controllers ? I just can't do touch controls. I should be able to hook up a controller to this and play it that way. Would be 5 starts otherwise. I just can't overlook this. FFIV has this option why not the sequel? Please make controller support

I was getting on the grind as you do with all ff games and then came the Mist Cliff. Which is a part of Kains Tale. Ceodore/the hooded man would randomly stop jumping up the smaller cliffs on to the larger ones. I have come to conclusion that it is a bug or glitch not yet resolved. I wouldn't recommend this version unless you want to find out the hard way for yourself.
No controller support

I love FFIV remake , but i hate this remake. The pace and style is too slow and boring. I really dislike the chapter style for each character. There isnt much level design in each chapter to encourage exploration game is extremely linear.

Switched phones and there is no way to bring your saved games to the new phone.
Very disappointed! I am stuck in the lunar subterrane, nowhere else to go, no guide available on the internet. Many hours down the drain. Trying for days and there is nowhere else to go. Has anyone finished this game?
Love the game. very addicting. i am more partial to the retro Final Fantasy then the latest releases. No Cloud Saving (can even make it google drive i don't care) No support for Shield TV. I never did play on the wii this is my first jump in so i guess the missing cameo bosses and the challenge dungeons is a 3rd. Lack of response to issues 1 star.
Please update this game so it'll work on Android 10! Thanks .

Its just rehashing old dungeons and bosses. Very little new content added to ff4. Plus painstakingly long
I was looking forward to playing this version of the game but it does not even work on my cellular device.
The game was listed as being $6.99 + tax but I my card was charged 14.99 + tax (16.32) and was unable to get a refund (tried within the 48 hr window) or contact anyone to get a correction for the over charge. The game was enjoyable but feel I havebbeen robbed and eventhough I folled refund directions couldn't connect with help

Kains tale keep getting stuck on mist cliff go to the area ur supposed to go to climb up and get stuck on the first jump up cant continue up cant go down your just stuck and cant progress, cant even finish the game!
I wanted to love Final Fantasy IV: The After Years. However, it was just okay. It had some good nostalgia going for it, little attention to detail that call back to Final fantasy IV. The interface is alright. My main issue is that the Mist Cliffs in Kain's Tale keep glitching. I'll start jumping, then get stuck on a ledge, and sometimes the music stops. I've reloaded a dozen times and got stuck at different spots in the cliffs. Alas.
The characters are showing as white figures and I don't really know the reason to this. Maybe it is because it is being played on the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra but I want this bug fixed please
No Controller support, my hands hurts from the awkward controls.
There is a lot to like about the sequel to FFIV. The inclusion of Bands, the alterations of the moon changing the value of your tactics, the plethora of characters... however, playing this game just feels like a huge slog. Each of the character chapters revisit a lot of the same dungeons over and over - leading to a lot of repetition. The final dungeon in the final chapter is very similar to this, though somewhat mitigated by the bosses you get to fight. Nostalgia aside, this killed time only.
It was long and kept going on and on! Characters are weak at level 30. Changed Some of the best armor and weapons weakened especially blood lance which was called drainer(made it super weak favorite lance for kain)
No real storyline. Maps, bosses and backgrounds are all recycle from final fantasy IV. It really feels like square enix is making fun of it's customers...
