Google Play games has a notification read across the top of the screen every time i open it that it is saving progress. well it doesn't and it hasn't. terrible oversight considering something like ffbe i can retrieve easily. i had over 60 hours this time. i probably could've beat it at any point. this is terrible. i had the apple version and same thing. no proper software for automatically logging in and saving progress. manual upload is insufficient.

love the game itself one of the best in the final fantasy series but every time I do the scene with celes singing in Maria's place it won't load up the second part so no point downloading it if u want to play it download it elsewhere plenty of other ways to play it

Doesn't want to open half the time, absolute garbage. so frustrating. way to ruin a game. the steal rate is trash even with all the accessories equipped to improve it. I'm so irritated with how horribly they made this. could have been fun, major fail.
Constantly stop's and freezes at the opera song. What a waste of time and money for a game that doesn't work. you are better off playing this on super Nintendo at that time.

the app closes on its own constantly. and once I reached the opera house it would crash every single time and I can't go any farther
it won't let me play I downloaded it twice and it gets stuck on the open loading screen won't even let me watch opening credits note to self ff6 or ff7 work on cricket debut smart just to let y'all know and yes all the minimum requirements were met to play it

Especially for the price. Offline access is possible and intended, but buggy. Not condoning piracy, but ports like these are a large portion of the reason people would rather pirate older games than buy a remaster. TLDR; good game bad port. Had issues with it within the first two hours.
Unplayable. Like the rest of their Pixel Remaster games, it freezes when loading the game. STAY AWAY FROM THE PIXEL REMASTERS. The 3d versions still work.

it is a good game however, if you answer a text or anything even from the notification bar it will restart your game. so if you get a phone call or text while playing.......... reeeeeestart. makes it unplayable, too much grind for the quick save not to even work.
got a A16 5 G doesn't work on it just a black screen doesn't load

Game was fun while it was playable. Played for about an hour, now the game won't load. Will not load a new game or a save file. Tried uninstalling and re downloading, game is still unplayable. I would either like a fix where I can play the game or a refund, not sure how to contact support or the developers.

Not the ultimate remaster, that is false advertising. No bonus content, waste of money, the original port had it , which is no longer available. Not worth it without the dragons den , gigantaur , gilgamesh, etc... the port they had before, was better.
My biggest gripe is the graphics aren't as good as the GBA version. It's a bummer cause I'm too late to refund it or I would. The bugs are quite annoying too. You can do a low level run in this version much easier which was the challenge I wanted, but the changes to the graphics and interface robbed some of the game of value for me. I'd rather do a GBA emulator
Tried to play the game, even with touch controls, can't get through South Figaro without constant crashing. Playing on a pixel 9 pro fold.
The mechanics are so god-awful I can't even play the game
This is the second time I've had to purchase this title due to a "remaster" and this time I lost my save files and they removed the extra content from the GBA re-release when Dragon's Den and Soul Shrine were added. Also, I really wish you could toggle between the original music and the remastered music.
I recently wrote a review here in which I described some game bugs. I played the game a lot more and the frequency of game bugs drove me crazy. It is very sad that I have to write this 1 star review. I loved Final Fantasy 6 when I played it many years ago. If you are like me and wanted to relive the experience of playing Final Fantasy 6, I would not buy this version of the game. The bugs in the game make it impossible to move forward and forces a player to go back to the last save.
You need to improve the fonts I can hardly see
I would rate this classic much higher, but in my game I got to the opera house part and it keeps freezing in the part where you have to choose the right dialogue for the song and I can't get past it. Has anyone else had this issue? And is there any way I can fix it?

meh... The boost features are nice but no gba stuff nor auto saves. Feels like the matrix software game was better made.
Brought a game only for it to crash a lot, can't even play a full 30 minutes.
I want to love the game but I can't! The remaster looks awesome and the return to old-school FF6 is just what I wanted! The new features are awesome and make the game feel more modern while allowing it to feel like the original game. BUT I can't play for more than 5-10 minutes without it crashing! The crashes are normally when there is a screen transition but in places like Figaro Castle, you're transitioning between screens a dozen times just to get to the rooms you need to. Very frustrating!
Random crashing on loading screens. Happens every few loading screens making the game nearly uplayable. Running on a Pixel 9 Pro
Want to love it but the constant random crashes make it unplayable. Getting through the Opera scene is seemingly impossible for me.
