Dishonest app: You have to tell the restaurant that you have booked with first table. When you do, the restaurants give you a different menu, usually more expensive than the usual menu. thus you are NOT getting the 50% off.
I just got the app, and the only restaurants listed as available for booking in Sydney are Enzo's Cucina.
unfortunately this app doesn't work :( every time i log in, the app brings up the main page then almost immediately boots me out with an error. this has happened on two devices!
2-4 people, so cant dine alone $15 is steep for a booking fee, its like paying an additional $15 fee to buy a movie ticket online. Robbing peter to pay paul. The restaurant loses money off shore. Restaurant would be better to offer $15 voucher on their own website. Fee not advertised on FT website. Dining with 4 people maybe ok.
App continually crashes out to an "unmatched route" error page no matter what I do. Clicking "Go back" takes me all the way back to the beginning of the "sign up" process, so I haven't even been able to access the main bit of the app. Uninstalled and reinstalled - didn't help.
app freezes, lags, or is completely unresponsive. I can't sign in with my google account and when I try to the app restarts

We have always enjoyed first table, however last night we made a booking and got told on arrival that we need to purchase alcoholic drinks for each meal to receive the discount. My wife and I don't drink alcohol but always spend on cold drinks coffees and dessert instead. What made it even worse was being told that our 6 and 8 year old children had to purchase alcoholic drinks with their kids meals in order for them to be discounted aswel. We walked out and will never be using first table again.
can only book 4 max, so useless to me as a family of 5
