I would highly recommend anyone wishing to find share accommodation to a real estate vendor. I have landed myself in extremely dangerous situations due to a lack of regulations over who can post a room to let on this site. I have ended up sharing with drug dealers and sexual predators, and the police do not have legal jurisdiction to handle these issues unless offenders leave a trail of evidential crumbs.

queries I initiated as responses to adverts were not even acknowledged, goodness knows whether any of the accounts were real people, I was contacted by one landlord, I found it difficult to assess the offered premises as a safe secure environment
Can't even fill out a profile. Just keep getting told something went wrong on page one and then have to input all information again just for it to do the same thing over and over again
Paid for the service and can't even access the messages.. wtff??!! Please refund
A lot of fake people looking for accommodation but actually fake to keep you buy and keep pay for app.
I can't access my account because I've forgotten my password. When I try the 'forgot password' option on the app, it sends me the password reset email but when I click on the reset button, it just directs me back to the apps home page. I literally am locked out of my account and I can't do anything.
Please be aware of fraudulent activity regarding false advertisement for room to rent I was mislead to believe that there was a room available in Surfers Paradise turns out it was a set up by the name of Shane Gavin he may be a alias with a different name please be fully aware I was subjected to pay $350 × 4 total amount of $1400 for The bond overall there was no form of accommodation available I would highly recommend to report this person to the authorities

Wow, I actually can't believe it, but as I'm jumping into bed tonight and looking through my apps I stumbled across FF Australia had charged me on the 31st May $22.99. Now i haven't worked out how to get this unauthorised payment refunded to me as yet. But i will. And let me tell you, that while trying to find the area to put in my complaint about this unauthorised payment that was via google Play for flatmate finders I decided to read through comments and couldn't believe to my astonishment
Didn't find anything in 2 months and want me to pay subscription for bare minimum use? Yeah, nah.
What a joke, don't advertise here, paid for a service, used the service correctly (messaging all possible prospective tenants as suggested by Flatmatefinders matches), then they kicked you out without a reason. I'm a legit landlord, I can't scam people because they can do in-person inspections. Use your brain mate. Don't waste your time, less than 10% of profiles here would READ your message and not reply. While 90% of the profiles are fake and somebody is reading your private message (inbox).
No options for non-binary or LGBTQ+ friendly. Also no way to easily delete your account, only your public profile.
The sorting options are rubbish
the app advertises that you can find people to team up with, and you can do this on the browser version when figuring out if you want to download, but this doesn't actually exist. it is only for matching people and houses. additionally, you cannot search by suburb; there are preset "areas" you can select, and too bad if you only want certain suburbs in this, or the search area is too big. not worth your time.
It's not it's hard but I love it
I was auto billed upon re-opening the app, after I had paid for a fortnight of usage many years ago. It was charged upon me opening the app again without me approving or confirming the new fee. Customer service refunded the fee when I contacted them about it but it has tarnished this app for me.
