Why can't I choose videos from my phone's gallery for upload? When looking at the list of folders on the phone, the app says how many pictures & videos are in each folder. But, once you go into a folder, the videos aren't shown at all. You can only choose pictures for upload. But we can upload videos via a PC. Come on! It's been this way since forever. Why can't we upload existing videos from the phone's gallery using this app? Please don't tell me to contact you. There's enough info HERE.

I haven't used Flickr for years, and back then only in Windows. Today, I'm relieved to get back into my account but I can't upload anything. AND there's no FAQ or Help, no menu at all except pushing Pro which apparently is the only way to get support. (What, pay to learn the basics? Or if it was a bug report?!) I have almost no pictures already (and there's no "exceeded allowance" error). I wanted to share an image to get technical help, but it seems it's time to find a new service.
Horrible! You guys are trying to scam me by saying oops something was wrong but i typed it right. change your game and delete it already i hate when flickr scams my account and trying to trick me. its not april fools day its may now. i hate how yall treat others like this
It is astonishing that Flickr still thinks they can get away with zero innovation in their app. This app is boring and cumbersome to use.
Sick of this app. iOS or Android, uploader just decides not to work. Not acceptable when it costs so much for the "pro" service.

Auto upload hasn't been working for years it seems. Have been paying for it monthly. App shows that I don't have pro even though in Google apps I can see that I have been having that for years. When pressing "restore purchase" it just gives error "something went wrong". That's it. Doesn't have troubleshooting optionality. What a pity.
first they provide free storage, then they change the terms and add a price tag. unfortunately I didn't have the app for a long time and all of my photos stored are gone now and cannot be retrieved . Very poor service.

Frequent problems with the app. Repeated photos keep being uploaded. Unable to add tags unless I keep clearing the app cache or force closing it. Fix your app! What am I paying you for????
why doesn't the app allow user identify what photos to upload. seems like the only photos it backs up are screenshots. USELESS
more than 24hours to upload a photo still waiting... They expect people's pay for something that you can't even manage to load your photos to download. Is so slow, they won't change a thing about Flickr since they bought Flickr, wait actually they in fact change something the price get more and more expensive. Was better when was yahoo.
I just paid for pro membership and the stats is just blank. Reading the reviews and seems I'm not the only one. Very disappointed.

Now on Version 4.2 - more unreliable and frustrating than ever. Either fails to upload or uploads multiple copies of the same image. Cannot edit titles, cannot replace images, often get blank screen for Stats or images. Had 4 different phones since I started on Flickr, problems with every phone, so issues are all with this truly atrocious App, and no amount of fake reviews can mask how terrible it is.
This is a feedback for the owners. The new price is too high. Flickr has been increasing the price every year. It's too much. The owners are getting greedier and greedier! 148 Biannually! Oh my goddess! It should have stayed 50 dollars a year for 50 years. My goodness, how does flickr expect some of us to afford this? This is a terrible shame.
Its very disappointing that Flickr now requires a paid 'pro' account in order to follow legitimate accounts i have followed for years. also note worthy is that despite having auto update turned off, the app updated anyway. i shall not be paying any money at all to Flickr now or ever.

ignore signing up for Flickr and Yahoo rubbish. it was garbage after they stopped yahoo groups years ago, and more dismally pathetic after the new owners too over Yahoo. the login process is disastrous as many people find themselves inexplicably unable to log back in. Really garbage . find other properly run sites to indulge in. Flickr and yahoo are sinking fast.
this app has serious technical issues,I just reset my password and saved it then went to login and it came up with incorrect password ,like are you for real , like seriously W.T.F ! it's telling me my account already exists yet I'm unable to access it thanks for ruining my day FLICKR
7/7/21: Flickr is failing. For over a year now, Flickr has yet to resolve the issue of not being able to upload photos to my Pro account. UPDATE (8/1/21): Flickr engineers state they have been working on this known issues since 7/2021. UPDATE (6/23/2025) Still no fix. Flickr admits bugs. Paying over $120/yr for membership. UPDATE (1/20/26) Still no fix for the uploading issue. What's going on?
I would buy pro if the app didn't suck. I love flickr but the app is terrible. there's so many things I can't and my people are to a group cuz they don't get that message. I can't change my profile picture or the banner or anything I can manage the groups. I have to have a computer if I want to do anything. all I can do on the app is look at photos and upload them, up and half the time they don't want to upload. if they just spent a little more time and develop the app id 100% buy it.
I'm using Flickr pro but search engine is not working properly, even when using fully supported Google my Flickr app is not working well and also often not showing the feedback left on my shots !

Auto uploaded Does not work for Google pixel 10 phones (with premium account ) For modern Android 14/15, incl. Pixel 10 the Flickr app’s Auto-Uploadr is effectively broken.
It only seems to upload photos after I force stop and clear cache. Every time. Please improve your app for Android users. Pro members are paying money for the best possible experience on Flickr and this is pretty bad.
I've uploaded photos, and some photos, but there's no visual loading, and I've been waiting for about 6 hours, the uploaded photos don't appear on the album.
Pictures doesn't load, I think it's been a month or months, but anyway I quit.
Got this on my new phone to upload photos from there to Flickr. Cannot work out how the he'll to do that.
FAILS to work 2/3 of the time, uploads barf, almost unusable user interface, missing basic features. NO WAY am i going to pay extra for an improvement to an app that is so messed up Fix the app and i will *consider* a paid upgrade, NOT UNTIL THEN
Flickr is unbelievably frustrating. Uploading from the app is confusing, adding photos to albums is messy, and sorting doesn’t work. One photo was out of order and there was no way to fix it - no manual reorder, no date editing. The UI feels outdated and inconsistent. Not worth the headache.
Useless...tried signing up both on website via pc and mobile app and both of the time it said Account creation failed even after email verification

just spins it wheels and loads one pic from 2023 and refuses to load anything else...no way to change settings or check anything to see what the issue is. used to be brilliant and noe absolutely useless.
Update: The app is still terrible. Despite super-fast connection, pictures in camera roll or search function are loading super-slowly or are not shown at all. I am about to cancel my subscription. Unlimited storage is useless if you cannot even access your own pictures. (And you cannot even store RAW.) ... One year later and nothing has changed. Even simple things like displaying public images in the "public view" don't work properly. Glad, I cancelled my subscription.

A great way to explore Flickr and keep in top of feedback. But some key functionality is missing, for example I can't remove inappropriate images from groups I own. I also can't see messages sent to me through Flickr. On the other hand the options to delete my account is there, which seems very hazardous in a mobile app!
