I am a contributing member of this community. This has been my go to app when I fly to keep track of my flights but it has now become more of a hassle to use than it is worth. Every time I exit the app I have to completely log back in to be able to use it. Logging back in includes getting a code from my email, then getting a code from my authenticator app (and from the authenticator app you can't copy and paste, it has to be manually input).
can this app keep you signed in for a change or at least remember the device you're using?...

what is wrong with this flightaware app these days? why do I have to open and close the app 2 times before the app actually works?
The data is not really relayable... I have been testing for the past 48 hours . And my flight watch list , has not changed status . They are still stated as Active .. in this app. But the official HIA app for QATAR Airways , has canceled 2 consecutive days of my test flight... This app does not reflect the reality, which may have consequences... $$
it is free but very difficult to use the interface. not for regular travelers. it's like somebody on purpose tried to design the most unusable app.
I know the airline industry better than most after 50+ years as a full time travel agent. This app SUCKS (and not in a good way). I put in LIMA TO DFW & it shows SLC to LIM. Thanks but I'll stick with FlightStats... easier & better.

installed this "free" app and tried it once. when I brought it up a second time it asked for a credit card but said it would be a $0 charge. I guessed it was a security thing, but to be safe, I used a virtual card. the app tried to charge me $2, which i declined. FRAUD?
Trying app for first time and trying to set notifications for a flight scheduled later today (29th). After I set the notifications the flight that gets saved is for the previous day and has already arrived. It will not set the notification for the correct date.
Does not work easily..screen instructions are awful.
I can't get rid of this thing.
After months of telling the developers of problems, this app is no longer useful or functional. Every time I open it, it loads nothing. Deleting.
Used this again for a while and it worked well. Now it doesn't update flight information properly. I've found that using web based sites such as flightstats is a lot less annoying and I don't have to give them access to my phone.

The new update on this app is really trash.
App never sends me notifications, even though I select and set up the notification gesture. Useless. Avoid!
They will haunt you relentlessly, trying to get you to upgrade. Then lock up your screen so you can't track your aircraft, making the app worthless!!!

wowsers. what happened? text is unreadable. after years of flawless service, the app now displays flight in a two-character wide column down the right. please don't make me change apps. .... 01/06/26 sent two screenshots of problem.
Used to be fine,but now it's not letting me choose the flight I want to track - I select a flight for tomorrow and it gives me one that's arrived today. Why would I want to track a flight that's already landed - I can get that from the airport. Hope it's just a year end glitch.
It never shows when the flight is delayed. Always mention on time, scheduled etc. Even a Google search can give you better information. However I like the way it shows the number of hours elapsed etc. detail and it usually shows the landing time correctly.
This app is horrible compared to its iOS equivalent. I can barely track flights and the information available is lacking. The app being this bad on Android has caused me to only use ADSBExchange or FlightRadar24.
great when it works. normally you have to open it and then fully close it before it will work
Another great app for people who love logging in to apps. You can't log in without being emailed a code, which takes ages to appear, and trying to enable MFA results in an error. Not a great user experience. I'd comment on the functionality of the app, but I've not been able to login yet.
When it decides to work, it's great. The "verifying your a human" regularly hangs. App recognises my email address but I never receive the authentication code. And yeah, I check the spam folder -- it just never arrives. People need to stop tinkering with their apps, it usually doesn't seem to work out well.

Why does your app keep signing me out every day? Why can't we stay signed in? And why do you make it SOOO hard to sign in (login, then emailed code, THEN authenticator code) It's a flight tracker, not a crypto wallet... Come on. What are you protecting? Why don't you implement biometrics like my bank app, do I can login without needing to go to 2 other apps, just to login to add an alert for a flight?
