I used this app heavily for over 10 years. It used to be good. However, recent iterations of it have badly degraded. It no longer consistently sends notifications. It sometimes won't reflect a schedule change. Flight status won't update, and both flights in the air and even those past and completed flights will show only as "scheduled". I'm giving up on it and going shopping for a new app.
this was a good app until they updated it. now it's SLOW & hard to use. I'll look for another.
Updating erased all of my previous history and trips. Notifications also aren't working anymore so this app is no better than a simple Google search.

So now, not only is the new update terrible in many ways....it doesn't even start. Edit Jun2026, six months later, No Difference.
I had been using this app for more than 10 years and have loved it. Up until I updated the app. I had over a hundred trip histories previously saved in this app. Upon updating, all of that was COMPLETELY LOST. Please do not update your app!!!!! This new version is terrible :((

Newest version will not run. This company should look up what happened to Sonos after the released a garbage app.
whoever got their hands on this app ruined it. it used to be a wonderful app. now it doesn't even work. it hasn't worked in a while very well. now it just doesn't work at all.
Was the best travel app. I liked the app from 2013 till around 2024. Now it appears to not open at all. I have all permissions set. After several retries, I can get it going and while adding flights an ad takes over and stays without end. So I have to quit and start over. Sorry but it's a complete fail. I uninstalled. then installed again. Seemed good but no notification and doesn't start up.
This used to be a great app, simple, effective, and reliable. Since the last "update" it has become an absolute disaster. The new interphase looks awful, and it pushes loud video ads that are totally unexpected, unwanted, and what is worse, impossible to mute, so you have to suffer the whole obtrusive "music", played at full volume, for milenia!! I wish there were negative stars to rate this abomination!! I'm uninstalling it.
Used to be great app. Then I lost whole trips. Now it forces me to create an account? I think not - into the rubbish bin it goes.
This app used to be my go to, doesn't seem to even open 99% of the time now. I tried troubleshooting and there was no improvement

Please bring back the widget!!!!! I use the widget all the time! As a commercial pilot, I used this app every week. Now, most of it's broken, as other users have said. Recommend users go find the previous version (apkpure) that worked (4.0.61) and install that until this gets fixed! To say that version 5.0.0+ has some issues is an understatement! It's unusable! So many people have uninstalled it, it's gotta be hard to increase the rating at this point! Had to switch to Plane Finder. Uninstalled.
UPDATE: Still hasn't been made any better. Something is wrong with this app and my subscription has lapsed. I will not be coming back. Such a shame.
I had 10 years of my flying history and overnight it was all deleted without any warning or anything.
I'm in limo Driver in Charlotte. this used to be the best app around by far for flight tracking. A year ago they did an update and it completely messed it up. Currently using FlightAware as a replacement but it's also not as accurate as flight view used to be. need flighty to come over to Android so I could get with the rest of the world. it's a shame because for years this used to be the best app. they need to rewind it to a year and a half ago and put those settings in the new app.👎

2026: Gotten worse than ever, six times tried to add flight to trip, " your save failed". App went from amazing to bad, now horrible. Ready to delete. 2022Review:Ad's used to be ok. Last few months, so obnoxious I'm on verge of deleting. Nightmare to try to click through or back button. Any positive thought of ad is quickly replaced with thoughts of never using what's advertised and deleting this app.
SOMEHOW, they have managed to make this app even WORSE. Really should provide a rebate to long-standing subscribers. Update: somehow, they managed to make this app even WORSE. Cancelled my long-held subscription. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I bought the FlightView Elite app, which they replaced with this subscription-only and\or ad-laden version. A once great app that is now too expensive... and they should honor their purchase agreement with their long-time customers. update: it has gotten even worse.
it is broken - should be removed from the store. it was a great app and I have been using this application for many years. it has become unusable. it takes a long time like 3 min for the app. most importantly - notifications do not work reliably.
Alerts still doesn't work. Saving a trip needs multiple steps. Old version from few years back was very good. Now the app is not usable anymore
What a disgrace. Something that used to work well is utterly useless now. My trip history is gone and I can't save a new trip to monitor my flights. I don't fly a lot but three trips in a row this app has been useless to me. In the past you could save your itinerary and ge t alerts and opening the app see your latest status. Basic. Gone now. And they have the gall to charge $17.99 for absolutely nothing.
This was an amazing app, but sometime between my last trip and today, they removed the option to save trips locally without an account/login. Uninstalling.
I have used this app for years, but this latest version is from the Middle Ages. The widget is gone and the tracking is not accurate or nonexistent. This used to be my go-to app, but no more. Your developers must never have heard of the adage, "If it ain't broke don't fix it."
Abandoned? I first reviewed FlightView back in 2012 (!). At that time I was traveling extensively for business, and using the app regularly. The ability to email itineraries and have them show up in the app was very convenient and alerts were timely and accurate. Today, the email address bounces and alerts are unreliable. Bye.
email forwarding not working anymore. I switched to Tripit and like it, though I like the old Flightview better. Flightview was a great app for so many years. It's a shame now that it barely works. I just landed, and none of my flight information or the fact that it was early works. It barely even opens up.
After recent update, an Email is required to login and save trips. There was already too many ads and now they want to send them to your email too. Was ok, now bad... deleted.
I have waited to see if further updates would fix all the problems since the redesign. Nothing has changed. No alerts. Unable to save trips. Just completely not functional. I have used the app for many years. Ready to delete.
Every time I open the app I just see the little yellow circle spinning for a few minutes. On the older version it would start on the route page, now it takes several clicks to get there.
So difficult to use, even opening the app will take forever
Have to create a user account just to access an ad infested, non-functional app. This app used to balance ads with functionality so it's time to move on to something better.
Paid subscription, had enough time to fix the issues. Just bring back the old working app.
Not Renewing for Another Year. After months of having to uninstall then reinstall to get the app to work, I'm cancelling this subscription. The app works sometimes, other times it won't open. The correction is to uninstall then reinstall. Sometimes, this has to be done on a single trip. Seems like this upgrade will never be fixed.
Ruined a great app, uninstalled after years of use
The app is no longer usable, I used to have Flight View Elite which was the paid version that was taken away and left with this free version which absolutely sucks. I'm leaving one star which of zero was an option I would leave that thanks Developers for nothing wish I could get my money back
The new app is so slow to open that I rarely use it anymore. On top of that, the overbearing ads make it usable. Used to be such a good app that was ruined and each build gets worse somehow.
Used to be my favorite travel app but the latest update stopped showing any notifications. Also there doesn't seem to be any way to remove a flight from an itinerary. Latest rewrite has nerfed this app so bad. Would give zero stars if Google allowed that.

A once great app, now worthless. The app no longer loads properly, requiring 2 opens to actually display any info and when it finally does open, all of your carefully entered flight info is missing. After going through the trouble of re-tracking and re-saving the flight info, it will all suddenly reappear in the app as duplicates of your original info. The app is a complete piece of garbage.
V5 is garbage. Pressing on a date in the calendar does nothing, as does clicking cancel on the calendar screen, so the app is unusable. You have ruined a perfectly good app and I will be unsubscribing from the paid version immediately. Fools. Note to other users: If nothing happens when you open the app, leave it open and open it again by clicking its icon a second time. Only then will the loading symbol disappear.
Wow, I've been using this app for years and it's horrible now after being updated. It now takes over 3 minutes to open the app (yes I sat their watching the spinning circle for 3 minutes before saying putting down my phone). That right there is a killer when needing quick information. Also, yesterday when tracking a flight I received no notifications for the flight constantly having me have to check the app over and over again. After seeing the other recent reviews, time for a new one.

This used to be my go-to app for tracking flights. The update has made it almost unusable. I am forced to look for a new tracking app.
Had elite subscription before. Now, with update, all past trips lost and have to pay monthly to remove ads. Will be finding another flight app to use.
