I recently got my daughter her very first phone and this was one of the apps that is allowed to be accessed/downloaded onto this phone. She has taught herself how to play the piano just learning by ear but she absolutely loves doing it and I thought this would be wonderful for her. $150 per year is absolutely insane and ridiculous! Uninstalled immediately.

App not working on my Samsung tablet. getting messages internet not connected. Although internet connection is OK. youtube working fine.
The app does nothing after signing up. The screen tells me that I'm all set and then goes black. No confirmation email was sent to my email, also not in my spam folder. I tried setting up an account using my web browser on my PC, but that shows the exact same issue; the screen goes black after telling me I am all set. There is no support button or get help link anywhere. I guess I'm off to the competition.

Not allowing creating account . simply shows all set and then becomes blank screen.
The music selection is not the best, especially for the cost. Also, it doesn't consistently pick up the notes reguardless of device or mic. But my real issue was with the premium content being suddenly blocked. We ended up cancelling but they charged us again after the year subscription ended. We emailed and received no response, so we ended up having to chargeback through the credit card. I find some of the free options are better than Flowkey. My opinion, don't waste your time or money.
Apparently , the microphone is not working. So flukey doesn't here you listening to you play.

Dark Souls disguised as a "friendly" piano learning app. It's also paid. Update: I have the paid version. but it still doesn't work perfectly.
this account was closed in January 2026, It was started In dec 2025 and never used And you have charged me up to march 2026 and I reported it to my bank, I have asked for all transcripts concerning this, I still do not understand why it appears to be open.

it's a good teaching app but not really for beginners. full songs are locked behind advanced and pro versions. for example if I want to play the full Happy Birthday song, the only option is to choose pro and know how to do arpeggios with your left hand and advance chords with your right. why can I not just learn an easy full version of Happy Birthday? and it's like this for every song. for this reason I had to change apps because you simply can't learn a song here unless you're a pro.

i cannot cancel the subscription. when i do cancel subscription , it takes me to the playstore subscription page. which is empty, please help
I signed up for annual subscription last year through my Google account but Flowkey took payment themselves as well so I had to request a refund. I changed my subscription settings in Google several months ago to not auto renew but this week Flowkey have themselves taken payment anyway, so once again I am having to request a refund. Seriously not impressed! Edit: No, I did not sign up twice with different accounts!
As a beginner I enjoyed the free trial, so subscribed for a year to the 'premium' package, which turns out not to be premium at all. You do have access to a selection of classical /folk songs but if you want to learn a song you actually know, or something written in the last 100 years, you have to pay a another 'premium' to do so. The lessons themselves are pretty poor compared to Pianote, for example. Won't be renewing my subscription. Poor value.
The app works well enough but the lessons are pretty underwhelming. less than two weeks of using this app and I'm almost through all of them. and the lessons they classify as intermediate still feel very beginner-ish to me. also when you play along with the songs, the app doesn't always hear the note, so even if you play it correctly the app doesn't always recognize that.
