paywall
Uninstalling due to AI usage. I've been considering purchasing their yearly plan as a substitute for a more expensive competitor, but their decision to push AI so much - both in the app and especially in marketing - has firmly turned me off of this app. Writing this review so I know to not reinstall in the future. What a shame.

hidden cost - have to subscribe to use

Can only do one photo scan before you have to pay for premium! Have deleted my account & the app due to this
onboarding takes ages, I just want to log calories ffs
You need to make it clear at the very start that this is NOT a free app
Tried to log my meal using the AI voice method. It's garbage.
filled with ads and paid spam
Hi! I get an error every time I press the "Fix it" button after I take a picture. Could you please fix the bug a.s.a.p?
Showing advertisements on your throat more than healthy food.
this app is a scam. it works fine but it won't let you cancel the subscription no matter what you do. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE
Unless it is a package good. It has no idea what is is looking at and has a really hard time with estimating portion. When you try to make corrections, it gets really frustrating. Even when you tell it exactly what it is looking at or try to adjust a quantity or make a corrections, it will reset everything. The profile averages aren't overly helpful since you can't see actually quantities. Just your % and the goals on a bar graph. It would also be nice to see nutrients instead of just protein...
Good for tracking your calories, but unfo3ths app does not track calories burned very well. They keep disappearing from my journal. Very disappointed this started happening after I purchased the subscription. What a waste of money.
very annoying to maneuver. requesting a refund
Useless. Essentially asked me for a life biography before saying I need to pay to use the app.
Same bs as all the rest. Don't waste your time with the survey in the begging they just want t your money.
should say not free before you fill out 100 questions
i downloaded this app and then instantly found out you need to subscribe to it. I uninstalled it within a few minutes of downloading it.
Not user friendly if you are making homemade meals, becomes a hassel to input the nutrional info yourself. Tried the app for a day. Didn't work for me, I will be requesting a refund.
I enjoy the interface, logging and most of what this app has to offer. I am making progress using it. In that sense, wonderful! However, I find that the AI input, without fail, calculates calories as being far too low. 100-200 calories per meal, which adds up throughout the day. For a calorie tracking app that uses this as its USP, this is ridiculous. I can't help but wonder if this is by design - not a good look. I recommend manual input you can trust, or a heavy pinch of salt.
I had high hopes, now I regret getting a paid version... I was hoping for food advice, but exactly that is at best useless, at worst wildly incorrect (encouraging to drink more espresso as it keeps you hydrated???). Getting warnings for too much protein and fibre, the advice is to eat more sea urchins - it might be me but I never heard of a culture where that would be daily food and it is practically unavailable where I'm at (not that I would know what to do with it). Ok for a calorie counter.
not worth the money. cute graphics but missing a lot of the functionality of fitness pal. for example weighs almost everything in grams, has a much smaller library of foods, far less stats and macro breakdown as well
Questionnaire at first. needs payment
I just wanted to log food and it asked way too many questions to start, then wanted me to sign up for a monthly plan, then kept popping up with screens I didn't care about. Induriating interface.
Flaws harm this app. I often plan meals the day before, but by doing this I get no steak credit and it uses a steak freeze. The weight graph is poorly done - it should not go to 0 pounds on the Y axis, I'll be dead long before then. The gimmicky seed that you level up and grow by using the app is pointless, unwelcome, and cannot be disabled. The integration with Android health connect also doesn't work, foodvisor doesn't download my Garmin activity data despite having access to it.
Several problems with this app 1. the food search and scan option is awful. half the time the foods it shows for very common items have wonky incorrect calorie counts. even when you barcode scan and find the correct item the calorie counts are off. 2. if you opt for the free version it bombards you constantly with ads. not only that but it makes any excuse to keep a running offer of a "75% off" subscription that is constantly on your home page as well as pop ups offering the full experience.
not helpful
clean modern looking app but reached out to the Devs multiple times to get an answer on something and no answer. Paid for premium as well.
