Lies. I booked a cab several hours before I needed it and then, at the time it was supposed to arrive, the app sent a notification "no available drivers". That's not how booking a cab works!

I've recently found out that Freenow takes the 15% commission from drivers which is the highest in Ireland, furthermore the Freenow Taxi Saver option means another 10% is taken from the driver's income! I'm all for reduced prices but I think it is so unfair for Freenow to ask their drivers to forfeit 25% of their income.

There is 0 support if anything goes wrong. I was scammed by a taxi driver in Italy on the 20th of June, who didn't pick me up, drove to my destination as if I was in the taxi, and charged my card 22 euros. I informed Freenow through the app's chat function. 2 weeks have passed and have still received no reply. I will now have to file a dispute through my credit card company to get my money back. Scammed by the taxi driver, scammed by Freenow as well. Avoid.

I wish you could put 0 stars. I was over charged in the taxis I used around Rome, got in touch via their help section on the app, could only speak to AI. Still waiting over a week later to be able to speak to a human, to try and resolve this.

The Uber app worked flawlessly at that time and got me out of the hole.
He tenido una experiencia desagradable con la reservación, puesto que no recibí ninguna confirmación de la reserva, por ese motivo pedí a mi vecino que también es taxista, que me llevara al aeropuerto de Valencia, quedamos de acuerdo, pero al otro dia, es decir el dia que debia ir al aeropuerto me aparecen 2 taxis de Freenow y mi vecino. He tenido un tremendo disgusto con 3 taxis en la puerta de mi casa. NO RECOMIENDO esta App.

The app is a combination of bad UX and bad functionality. The user interface is confusing. On the main page, there is history, a map, ads, and your home (useless btw) in one place, making it very hard to use. The "Where to" section becomes a fight with the UI if your pick-up location is elsewhere. Important note, there is no way for you to contact support. Despite the bad UI, functionality is also bad. On one ride, I was charged much more than the expected amount displayed on the app.
DO NOT INSTALL. the app literally never finds drivers. and if it does they will reject immediately. Just use uber, these idiots deserve to fail

Useless app - doesn't respect your pickup point at the hotel. At first it works but after confirmation it moves the pickup point to the different part of the city...

Really let down by an airport run. Taxi booked for 04:00 with a driver assigned. At 03:55 the driver pulled the trip. Left us in a stressful situation, but managed to get sorted through another company. Very poor form.
The driver never arrived. there was no way to contact the driver as he had accepted the ride and the app assumed I was with him . the app help chat bot said I would be contacted but that never happened. after 50 minutes I ordered a taxi on Uber and finally got home. I was charged for the ride and my request for a refund was ignored.
Complete rip off. €14.78 for a 1.8km trip.
Can't register without a working phone number. Data only plans are useless.

worst User experience and the app charges hidden charges .drivers will take different route and will charge more. the support system is extremely bad.kept dumb chat bot.yyou will never get a realtime support person for any problem.
A properly terrible app. Can't easily select the pickup location. And if you figure out how, half of the times it overrides your choice. Can't find the payment methods
first and foremost if I select cash no one will accept my ride, there are also very few limited drivers on this app. it is more expensive than Uber and I live in a city where actual taxes are criminally overpriced, this leads me to my issue that when I have ordered on this app the last three times it's been more than a cab would be as they will have their metre running and you'll be charged £17 for a journey that would have cost £13 on the meter which is already overpriced. Just call a cab/Uber
I unfortunately can never find a taxi 9 out of 10 times of requesting it. I used to be a regular user but ever since "Priority Taxi" was introduced it is basically impossible to find a ride.
Guaranteed a taxi at 11.00 then cancelled it after we walked to the pick up stop leaving 2 women and 2 girls abandoned in the middle of London. Don't promise a ride if no drivers are willing to take it.
It is the worst experience ever. I lost my wallet in the taxi on 23rd of June. I didn't manage to contact the driver immediately through the App to check it at the time I lost it. Freenow replied in two days in chat with no any useful information Freenow didn't get into contact with the driver or got me any information from him. they didn't put me in contact with the driver. Nothing was returned to me. my case is closed I want to reopen the case and put me in contact with the driver.
completely useless. did a typo when entering my email address. Will not let me in without verification from a non existent email address. won't let me create a new account either as it wants to send verification to a non existent email address. honestly you need to make it so the less tech savvy can sort out things after they realise that they made a mistake
What a scam! Drivers kept getting taken then dropped , then they would offer us a ride for double the price to drop current reservation.
over €6 more expensive than taxi on way to destination 2 hours earlier. Driver went a roundabout way. A bit rude when 3rd person was a minute late coming out of pick up area.
cheated by driver who took 18.90 euross where final amount was 14 euros and trying to take help but all in vain
Avoid at all cost, you are better off getting scammed elsewhere. Was charged 32 even though it was written 25 on the receipt. After trying to contact the FreeNow customer support I got completely ignored.
be careful you don't get charged double price when they can't find you a driver and very difficult to contact customer service.
Pretty bad first experience in London. Pre-booked taxi a day in advance, it was initially confirmed 1h before the booking then it got cancelled. There was no driver available to pick me up once the cancellation happened and I ended up payimg premium for a ride and late for my event. Hard to recommend after experience like this.

useless, tried so many times to make it work, uninstalled, installed, over and over, gave it all permissions to work - whats up with this? it can never find my location? every other app that i use that needs location works e.g. google maps - never had this issue before
worst sevice ever. I had pre booked for XL taxi. Your app confirmed: "You'll receive driver details 10 min prior to pickup time." At 00:50, instead of receiving a confirmed driver, the system began searching for availability, meaning no driver had been assigned to my advance booking at all. No taxi arrived. I was stranded at the roadside at 1am with two young children (one injured) and heavy luggage after a long international flight and a bus journey from dublin to cork.

horrible, I got charged for a trip I never even took and help is non existent. it's been weeks and no one has answered my email, chat, or phone calls to get a refund.
Just dont use this app. There are better options out there, plus their customer service is abysmal.

haha, estimates... terrible app. Edit: I tried getting in touch eith the freenow support on multiple occasions on the day. I was assured by their bot that someone will be in touch. Well, no one got in touch with me. Had to get an uber after their driver cancelled the journey 40 minutes after accepting. I waited 40 minutes to be cancelled on.

Hi there paid for a cab to the raddison from the castle in glamire there was no drivers found and ye still took the 20 euro
