Repeated price increases for the same plan. I used FreshBooks for several years for my company INSTALLERS DMV, LLC. The software works fine, but the constant price increases are frustrating. I started paying around $25/month, then it increased to $30, $33, $38, and now they want to charge about $45/month - all while I stayed on the same plan and never upgraded. For a small business that only uses basic features, the price no longer makes sense.

Terrible support. I've already paid to upgrade after the free trial but when I login, it says I need to pay to upgrade. Try calling during business hours and only get messages to call during business hours. I'm extremely frustrated and will probably find something else, after I get a refund.

it's mileage tracker is 100% garbage. unlike all the other driving apps this gem doesn't work at low battery, it doesn't let you create locations so it's more accurate. it does have a good start and stop time. But if you ever dare to go below 20% battery it turns off. And when do you get it charged up you'd think it would turn back on right!?,? nope it will never turn back on unless you open the app. they won't change thing and just make you pretend you can . watch for the generic reply

I have had this app for 5 years. It was great for me as a consultant and I really enjoyed it, but I would never recommend anyone try this app or Freshbooks software in general. I have had 3 instances of major disruptions to my bank connections that lasted weeks with no urgency from support and cumbersome workarounds. Recently, the time tracking app has stopped working on mobile with frequent errors. Do yourself a favor and avoid this app, it is a huge burden to transition to something else.

Not suitable for UK businesses. You can't remove the "Tax" line from your quotes, meaning that if you are B2B you'll need to download and edit the PDF of the quote otherwise you'll be such with a line that says "Tax: £0" (or you'll have to include VAT in your quotes, which makes no sense) Gets worse, though, looks like you also cant even abide by HMRC's rules for VAT invoicing. No way to show the sterling amount on an invoice if you're billing in another currency. Not mature enough for UK

I assume like the review the app was free, but obviously I was mistaken you can't delete the account either seems like a way of catching data to sell. Always leary of apps like this. Be aware 30 day trial only, 5 invoices for $$$19 a month!! I wonder where the reviews came from. Would get my five stars for the semi intuitive set up. As it is well designed to a point.

Ive been using freahbooks for about a year now however, I am now forcing myself to make time and find another invoicing software, even if my entire family is killed in a plane crash and I have to miss their funeral I don't have time to write this review... if you use freshbooks on your computer it seems to work OK. The mobile app is flat out trash in multiple ways. I recommend getting all of your cash together and burning it over using freshbooks mobile

I never thought I would see a accounting software that actually makes it harder to keep your books but freshbooks managed to do it! constantly disconnects from your bank always has to have you reload info, reset your passwords does not keep track of your income only your expenses this software is a complete nightmare!!!

Running a free trail as Im looking into businessadmin on the fly (expenses and invoicing).Not adequate. Not possible to import PDF files into expenses on mobile app. No receipts scanning; need to put in details manually. Cannot amend expenses categories in the mobile app. Makes a mess of company address on the invoice, no tax details data field of clients on invoice. All in all, the app doesn't meet certain requirements of (EU) tax authorities.

It's missing everything I need. Doesn't have project tracking AT ALL, expenses can't be assigned to a project. There's a glitch currently that doesn't set expenses as billable correctly. Mileage tracking is only available in the app, but doesn't allow on demand tracking. Only automatic 24/7 tracking or manual mileage entry. There's so many missing features in my daily workflow I still have to use the web page in desktop mode to access everything.
