In the heat of the moment it's not a user friendly app. There's not an obvious visual difference between surges and intervals. The contrast and font on the stats page makes it hard to see the data. There's no obvious way to silence the audio of the app without muting your own music.
Glad I tested this out in early labour to know it's not worth it, the surges don't seem to save and if you go off the app while recording a surge it stops all together. it's definitely easier just timing it with your stopwatch and noting it down. the counting recorder was useful but I definitely felt ripped off having to pay for an app that just counts to you.
When the time came this was actually useless and didn't work.
The meditations aren't great and there are only 5. Disappointing after reading and loving the Better Birth book.
Crashed in the middle of labour and lost all surge info. So so so disappointed as if it worked it would be great. I want a refund
I would give it 0 if I could. Paid for this app for labour and went to use in hospital whilst having contractions. Instead of timing my contractions it continually told me to go to hospital even though I was IN hospital... an absolute waste of money and time. Ended up using a stopwatch.
No matter what I do, it still won't let me play music in the background. I've turned off all voices and music!
