I have had an L8 watch for a number of years. After getting a new phone the Fundo app will not connect to my watch and tells me it is an illegal device. it is not an illegal device and the internet has countless articles talking about the known issue, but none of the fixes work. essentialy this version of the app has left my watch useless.

Do not like any app that runs in the background and will not let me turn it off. I will be Uninstalling this as it is not responding to my commands. this app is not working with my smart watch. the smart watches identified as a device name WATCH5_LE . I have downloaded this app using the QR code displayed on my watch face. however while connecting this watch, it shows me a message illegal device. how come a device can be illegal? I do not recommend this watch as well as this app. completely unsatisfied.

My cheap smart watch came with the QR code for this app. when connecting to the watch, it says that it is an illegal watch. The app is no good.

i have a blu view 5 phone and when I go to add device on the more page of the app it runs just great until the end. A white box shows illegal. I was trying to get results since I used the watch all day and night. it showed no reports! I'm sorry but I'm giving this 1 star. this is a bad product. I'm throwing my watch in the garbage. it is exactly what you pay for, very very cheap and a waste of money!!! total garbage!!!! won't be buying one again!

After update my smartwatch registering as "illegal device". Worked before and now just useless. June 3 update still useless. June 25 update still useless. Please fix! Update: Uninstalled version 1.8 and installed 1.7, now watch works. Sept 7 still doesn't work. Re-installed 1.7. Nov 27 update still no good. When will they fix it?!?! STILL USELESS. 2.0 JULY 24 UPDATE STILL SAYS "ILLEGAL DEVICE". ZERO STARS.

Illegal devices what.?
Quite often the app didn't open so I uninstalled it and reinstalled again, and so on. The watch was cheep and had all I needed. However, in less then 2 years, it stoped working and I sent it for warranty repairs. I never got it back from the shop though I made several e-mail communication with the warranty authorized shop. I was only getting exuseses and no watch back. After 4 month, I eventually gave up.
Was working great until the last update. Now the watch won't keep steps, sleep or connect to my phone.

Now I get illegal devices error that wiped out all my info. Updated May 7 error still exists. May 17 still no fix. Useless. Reloaded app on 5/27/21 no change. 6/11/21 still have issues. This is useless. July 4th and still no fix for illegal device message. August 18th still no fix. Sept 27 no fix.. Oct 19 same WORTHLESS! 3 years later still no fix. ZERO STARS

This app worked well enough with my phone and my watch when I downloaded it, but since the update, it tells me my phone isn't supported, and my watch is an "illegal device". Sorry, but I'm not impressed at all.

Don't install this app and do not buy anything from this company. The major problem is the permission what the app need to have allowed by the user. During the installation the app is asking to allow or not some access to the users phone resources.If the user don't allow some access like access to contacts or call or location etc. the app will force the user to give access to the dissabled resources during the starting the app.At the and you have to allow everything the app is asking for.
When I want to connect the watch to my phone it says it's illegal genuine. Help me to fix
This was asking for a lot of permissions on my Pixel 8. Feels iffy share that much with an unknown chinese / Asian company. The smart watch was pairing it was very, very slow and frustrating to use. Would try other products from this company though
