The app has improved, but the gap between Android and iOS is still huge. I understand Android development is harder - more devices, OS variations, etc. This isn’t about that. I gave respectful, constructive feedback in the Facebook group, including ideas to support Android dev. I was blocked without warning. Paying users deserve better than silence and second-class treatment.
Very basic really. Regret purchasing it on impulse. format does not seem compatible with my phone. Happy cow is much better.

The people behind this app have a terrible reputation within even the vegan community in Australia - and I can see why.
Unreliable app - terrible company. They will label things "not vegan" even though there is no non vegan ingredients. They do this with the smiths chips even though smiths will tell you directly they're vegan (some of them). Fussy vegan constantly tries to be the authority on what is and isn't vegan. It's a shame that they also respond to people who have questions in a hostile way. The app itself is just okay at best. Can't rely on their strange views on what is and isn't vegan.

I am over ten years vegan and I was hoping that downloading the pro version gave me the chance to know more about hidden products or supplements but that didn't happened at all. All the time I scan something the product is not found. Useless to me. Save your money folks
It doesn't recognise and foods when I scan them! What is the point in this app. Charged £8 to find out McDonald UK fries are vegan but they're not in USA. It hasn't recognised any foods I've scanned, at all! If this was free, I'd delete this right away to to be charged for it? What am I paying for? Waste of money. Becoming vegan is hard but to sponge from people trying to better their health is ridiculous.
Not good in USA
In New Zealand. Pretty well every single product - even really basic ones like Olivani Margarine - is not in the database. A HUGE waste of money. May be useful in Aussie. Not in NZ.

No better than the free apps, tried most items out of cupboard, all showing not listed
For something I just spent 10 dollars on that I can barely use without it bugging out and closing the app on me? In theory it's a great app but I can barely use it!

Also, when going to search products, most of them are either Australian or from other countries that are completely irrelevant to New Zealand even though it is set to New Zealand in the settings. Even though ones are just saying how great it is🤔 although it is only new to New Zealand, time will tell. So that's why I've only rated it two stars
