I don't like the fact that an email address and password are required when there are many other similar apps that don't force it. Uninstalled this app.
Fantastic content, terrible app. Just take trying to listen to podcasts; There's no "continue listening" ability so you'll need to find your episode manually. There's no way to sort or filter a podcast, so if you want to find the episode you were on you'll need to scroll manually past hundreds or thousands of episodes. If you minimise the app it will take you all the way back to the top. Download an episode and there's nowhere that collates your downloads so you'll need to scroll for that too.
this is the worst podcast player I've ever used. Ask it to download episodes automatically? It'll get the episodes you heard live, but not the one you wanted to listen to. Manually download an episode? Make sure you watch that download bar like a hawk, otherwise it'll fail. Want to download something using mobile data? It's a fifty fifty chance whether that's possible. And the cherry on the top is that every so often it'll lose all your settings & subscriptions. Buy a radio instead!
since update the player is so unstable now. shame as was what I used every day with some great podcasts (not bothered by the radio) what have they done to it?! Cleared cache. deleted and re downloaded and nothing seems to work..it plays and then seems to stop working when you go to play something new. Responded but no response from you. What is going on. looks like lots of others having same issues. I have to delete and redownload to get it to work whenever it gets the issues!
exactly the same thing as happened to me as make me a winner FKA Win happy! as everything I tried entering. I never win at anything as every time I keep losing! 😣
Useless to me if it doesn't support landscape orientation. Landscape is more natural than portrait since our eyes are on the left and right of our face, not the top and bottom.
Since the last update it takes ages to load a podcast. Also when you stop and then go back to the podcast later the play button has disappeared and you can't carry on listening.

Im happy that you are having a summer ball and I can get tickets, Im happy that theres a competition that I can win £600000 but if and when I want those things I will look for them. In the meantime leave the thing im currently halfway through where I can find it!!!! PLEASE!!!!

pretty poor app. podcasts take ages to load if at all when you aren't on home WiFi so I tend to use Spotify instead. I'll be using this app less as it's just pretty terrible.

very user unfriendly. no idea how to use it. Just had a message from Google telling me they are glad I enjoyed using the app....what a load of bollocks Global Player feedback actually is. lol.
Extremely difficult to open this app

It won't even let me register - it keeps adding double // so I can't enter my dob. Very irritating for something that should be simple. Useless.
Don't call this app "Global Player Radio" if the only radio channels are British. Nothing from the north or south of Ireland.

Seeing high battery drain, and looking at battery usage shown by Android it's always Global Player and it continues showing long after finishing listening. Please don't just reply by saying email support.

Useless. It says global but I cannot access international broadcasts.
Still a poor app after all this time. Uses way too much battery with random shutdowns. Some older problems that were seemingly fixed have returned. This app has never worked well on any phone I've owned, so I don't understand why it has such a high score.
Only stays on for a few minutes before it asks me to sign in again. waste of time

Great when it works. Not sure what happened but when playing live radio it's very unstable and will constantly stop playing like it's having to buffer. This is the only app that this happens with
