Notification keep covering the screen controls and only go away after a long time-out. Bad design by amateur developers.

Very disappointing and I'm uninstalling and going to download an app I CAN listen to freely!
I don't like that it adds stations that I don't want. I listen to LBC only, so why do I have to have 3 other stations in the list that I don't even want? No way to change this. Please change it. Also, I download podcasts to listen to later, but it keeps saying they are not download when I go to listen to them or register I've listened to them with the progress bar. Strange 🤔.
cant get further than the cash call app. all I want is to hear some music
When I downloaded a podcast it doesn't go into my library. I have to manually find the podcast then play
it keeps saying there is a error and asking me to sign in, but I can't sign out in the first place and only half the features work!
doesn't play radio (playback) for longer than 30 seconds before it stops working unless I permanently have my screen on. they respond and tell me to email them and they have completely ignored me... uninstalling now.
Absolutely garbage. It wants to do a download everytime you launch it. Don't bother answering me back I won't re-install this price of junk.
global player app has been working very well until lately, I have it installed on three different devices and it was functioning well, but recently it has been doing weird things. for instance when you come to open the app the phone goes black like it's in sleep mode and then it will take a good few minutes to be able to get back into the app! this is happening on all three devices! two Nokias and a Huawei. this is happening every time I try to open the app.

On downloading an episode it reports completed but when you go back to listen it has not downloaded. incredibly frustrating when you use WiFi for the 1st attempt to save your data allowance. Happens constantly.

I'm not making an account to listen to an audio stream
Very unreliable, frequently crashes mid program then you have to force stop to get it to work again. Was okay as an app other than it doesn't automatically move onto next episode, but recent update has made it very hard work. Will use it for live radio but find an alternative for podcasts
Awful. And it used to be perfect. Awful update.
switches the radio off about every hour whether you want it to or not. constantly crashing. full of ads and bloatware

great podcasts, appalling app. One break in connection and that's it, you're permanently disconnected until a force stop and sometimes a reinstall. sometimes it won't even connect to begin with. 100mb 5g connection, everything else working fine... Global player=no internet connection
This app offers extremely poor quality with regards to genres, eg decades. Any pub jukebox gives vastly superior choices. I cannot, in all conscience, recommend this app and would give no stars, but the review process demands I give it least one star, so that is all it gets from me. Typically, some giant corporation swallows up all the competitors, then gives the customer little to no choice of inferior products, while bragging how great it is.
installed, tried searching for a radio station (radio x) it only has catchup
DONT BUY! doesn't work. won't connect to speaker. either auto scan or manual insertion of IP address. promises everything. delivers nothing.

I don't like the fact that an email address and password are required when there are many other similar apps that don't force it. Uninstalled this app.
Fantastic content, terrible app. Just take trying to listen to podcasts; There's no "continue listening" ability so you'll need to find your episode manually. There's no way to sort or filter a podcast, so if you want to find the episode you were on you'll need to scroll manually past hundreds or thousands of episodes. If you minimise the app it will take you all the way back to the top. Download an episode and there's nowhere that collates your downloads so you'll need to scroll for that too.
this is the worst podcast player I've ever used. Ask it to download episodes automatically? It'll get the episodes you heard live, but not the one you wanted to listen to. Manually download an episode? Make sure you watch that download bar like a hawk, otherwise it'll fail. Want to download something using mobile data? It's a fifty fifty chance whether that's possible. And the cherry on the top is that every so often it'll lose all your settings & subscriptions. Buy a radio instead!
since update the player is so unstable now. shame as was what I used every day with some great podcasts (not bothered by the radio) what have they done to it?! Cleared cache. deleted and re downloaded and nothing seems to work..it plays and then seems to stop working when you go to play something new. Responded but no response from you. What is going on. looks like lots of others having same issues. I have to delete and redownload to get it to work whenever it gets the issues!

Useless to me if it doesn't support landscape orientation. Landscape is more natural than portrait since our eyes are on the left and right of our face, not the top and bottom.
Since the last update it takes ages to load a podcast. Also when you stop and then go back to the podcast later the play button has disappeared and you can't carry on listening.
Global, please help! For the love of god please put the "continue listening" back at the top of the homepage. Scrolling through all of your promotions and adverts is making me want to drive my car off a bridge! Im happy that you are having a summer ball and I can get tickets, Im happy that theres a competition that I can win £600000 but if and when I want those things I will look for them. In the meantime leave the thing im currently halfway through where I can find it!!!! PLEASE!!!!
today I opened the Global Player app and got a full page ad for some gambling competition. this is deplorable. all of global player's content is riddled with audio ads, but apparently that isn't enough for you you have to plaster full-page ads to app users as well? all you've done is push me towards using free digital radio apps instead. good riddance, Global Player app!

Great app for live radio, catch up and podcasts, but now podcasts won't play at all following the latest update in the last few days 😔 please fix this.
Great when it works. Not sure what happened but when playing live radio it's very unstable and will constantly stop playing like it's having to buffer. This is the only app that this happens with
