GOOGLE CHROME SUCKS!!! BUT I AM BEING FORCED TO USE IT BECAUSE SAMSUNG SELLS YOUR INTERNET ACTIVITY DATA ILLEGALLY!!!!

Needing an active notification for downloads to persist is unforgiveable. There could at least be a toggle for people who aren't worried about forgetting. There are at least a couple of secure ways to work around this. Realistically, they should just rewrite how Android handles downloads, but they probably won't. At least you can hide the notification bar arrow, but you need to enable notifications categories to even see the option in the menu.

idk if the issue is in my phone or the app itself.. co'z I've ad dlte and install it again but every time I update it, it starts all over again after a few days.. like i updated it yesterday then updated it again the next day! it's quite frustrating.
