worst product of google i ever use
The latest update broke my app. no edit pencil button appears with "tab 1." I can no longer edit documents.
After my last update this app is acting crazy. I can't save. I can't print. I can't even feel like i have a writting app in my phone. without all that this app is the best. please help fix this. it's really frustrating
Good lord, they done brought back the UI they rolled back from that was an inconvenience. They done changed the layout to make document names be at the top of a document instead of the bottom like previously. As a result the names I created for my documents, I can't even read fully anymore to know which is which pertaining to my docs that are multiple parts becuz it has a cut off now 🤦♀️. And the issue of docs sometimes randomly saying how they can't be opened, persists!!!
I have an existing file that I edited in Docs. In the Docs app, my changes are visible and everything looks fine. However, when I download or save the file, the edits are not included in the downloaded version. I tried repeating the process several times editing again, saving, downloading, and even refreshing the app, checking if the app is up to date but the same issue still happens. The file in Docs shows the updated version, but every downloaded copy is missing my changes.

Every time I start the application it jumps back to the beginning. Have to find where I was. very annoying.
too much errors then i cant even access my own files, causing me to create another one
I literally just opened the app for the first time in a year or so and the first thing it did was interrupt me and ask for a review. That's lame.
Mobile app sucks, just use your computer.

I don't like the undo and redo option, earlier it was easy but now you have to press it two time to do it which is irritating 😫 and sometimes it do some spelling mistakes automatically write something which we don't want so I hope they fix this problem
It doesn't seem to help me. making a resume is very important to me, and a lot of companies DO except docs, Jpeg, and PDF. for some strange reason, they all have trouble accepting docs. I tried to shorten it, no. I would love to use it from Google docs where the original resume was created and looked great. Unfortunately, I have not been able to send over a Google docs resume and had to use PDF and Drive, but still having problems. My HP laptop is out of a VPN so I can't safely do my work.
Unreliable on Z Fold 6. Crashed many times over a 2 month period. On the last occasion it also lost a large chunk of a file that was supposedly being auto saved.
