Could you please clarify why the speedometer is not displayed during navigation on the Android Auto car screen? Despite all settings being correctly configured and the speedometer toggle activated within the map settings, the speedometer remains absent. Other applications, such as Waze or MapMyIndia, display this feature, yet Google Maps does not.
I have used Google maps for many years and it has yet to leave me astray. but lost all respect for it when it change the golf of MEXICO to golf of America.
Ask Maps-Android's next forced AI you can't turn off. Takes the place of "Home" button on left-hand side of opening screen. ALWAYS wait to see users' problems with updates. But I HAD to turn on auto-updates because Google has now decided to block every out-of-date app from even opening. Google now<Apple
map experience is hit and miss. More often is a miss in MN. Now the major HW I35 name and many other road do not display on map when looking for directions. You have to click navigate in order to see which road you're taking. Wife asked which road we were taking, google say you don't need to know, we'd take you there but can't guarantee your safety

Why do I have to choose a start location every time I plan a route? I'm on the map so maybe you can guess my start location. If not, then go with wherever I am!!

This WHOLE month, Maps has missed blocked roads, led me astray, took me pointless routes and I am over it!
In June of 2026 this app is designed to NOT let you delete saved places on your phone. You can on a PC, but not your phone. Unbelievable. Google's response is useless. UPDATE: The information in their link shows how to delete lists, but not saved places.
When using GPS only, why does one have to turn on background Wi-Fi scanning for it to work in maps⁉️ And Where's the Start trip navigation button⁉️ YOU ALL!❗️! need to understand what's in the name, Government Owned Optical Geographical Location Engine,...... NOT accurate to my unit address, #1. my fall alarm GPS, via google maps, sends to #7. both are on the ground floor, (1st floor in Usa), AND it shows the OTHER SIDE of the street, #59. (which is a large parking area ? 🤣) if ambulance use gps coordinates, they go to wrong unit number. In this instance WORSE than useless, life threatening.😡😈😠

The map doesn't give street names. Very ineffective feature for a MAP. You can get directions but can't get a reference for where your going.
Add the city/state to the destination address in the listed directions. Why did you remove the report a stalled vehicle on side of road?? You are pathetic for changing the name to Gulf Of America. Disgusting. You give me walking instructions instead of driving most of the time. my destination is a 20 minutes drive. How about giving your app enough brains to switch to driving if you go over walking speeds?... .... . .....
