I use this app as the Google counterpart for FaceTime as I have a Pixel. Now after the update, it seems like all they've done is make a worse version of Zoom. Too many bells and whistles for corporate talks rather than just a video phone call app. Furthermore I occasionally share my screen to show those on the call with me videos from Instagram and YouTube on occasion. Lately, Instagram almost never shares its audio while YouTube still does (even though I press the "share audio" toggle.

Unable to join the meet from my mobile using the meeting code. Somehow the option to join the meeting with a code is not visible. I already updating the app and restarting my mobile. Kindly check this.

Tge app is good, but when I use it on a laptop I have my shutter engaged. I cannot peacefully continue with a constant notification that my camera is blocked. please discontinue this feature. I can't even acknowledge that I know my camera is blocked without the app turning my camera completely off. I would like my background to still be visible but keep my shutter where I please.
everytime i try to open the mic or the camera, a message appears that the app will record both mic and camera. terrible app
says select contact or enter code and gives you no option to enter your code. Exactly the type of quality you would expect from a trillion dollar company
It's easy to use, but not a fan of AI. Going to use Threema instead going forward.
I can no longer make calls unless I send a link using this app. I have done all sorts of troubleshooting and nothing works. My contacts have already opened Meet. They still call me on it, I just can't call them anymore.

Bloatware that is forced to stay on your phone. "Freedom of choice" suuuure.... Edit: Your "helpful" article told me what I already knew, that I can't delate pre-installed apps from my device, using the conventional way anyway. So that was a waste of time. Thankfully I used the power of internet to find out how to do it with a bit of coding. Again, no thanks to you Google.
I don't want this on my phone and your article doesn't do any good because I don't have pen pencils and paper to write the strangely configured stuff down 😡
I think it's a prank app. no matter how many times deleted or Uninstalled, you can count on looking at updated apps list where it's either updating or scheduled.

I'll NEVER use this. I don't want it. can't uninstall it. 1 star. edit: nice try. I said I'll never use it. therefore, I'll never enable it or open it. those links with "helpful" info are rarely helpful. this one was no different.
All of my history is gone! I can not make calls without sending a link to people. Not sure what's going on.
This app needs to be copy of FaceTime from iPhone so we can start good and better communicate with each other again
I have been constantly getting my video chats with my girlfriend, disconnected for no reason. We will be in a middle of a serious conversation and then it will disconnect us. please fix this if you want a higher rating.

bloatware , app installed by itself without my knowledge, to the trash bin it goes.
Pos app wouldn't close when prompted while I was active on another app during an important team meetup. Crashed the entire phone, couldn't get back in on time, and I lost opportunities. Thanks Google (not), you've no idea how much more dislike I have for you
YOU CANNOT VIEW PAST VIDEO CALLS! THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO WAY TO VIEW YOUR CALL HISTORY! THESE PRODUCTS ARE NOT EVEN TESTED WHEN RELEASED TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC! MORE GOOGLE GARBAGE!

Not being "notified" of a call... if I'm not looking at my phone & seeing someone calling on here, I'm not notified by the phone ringing, when I'm listening to things on my headphones, its not cutting out my music or podcast & ringing like it used to... so I'm missing calls!! No permissions are denied on the App settings either... When someone calls if I'm looking at my phone, I see them calling... but there's no ringing, vibration or interruption with whatever else I'm doing!
It doesn't work half of the time. I miss calls because I don't get the ring for it. Other people miss my calls for the same reason.
