I don't like it want to delete it
Currently news reader is inaccessible and not working at all. An uninstall and reinstall does not fix it.

Video ads in every news article. No thanks. I'll stick with Google news from now on. 👎👎👎
After an update Im now getting news thats over a decade old...Its all news from 2011
Filled with extremely low quality clickbait, repetitive articles, which most that aren't behind a paywall are from small sites filled with invasive ads. News stories are static throughout the day and don't "refresh" until after 24 hours. Unable to actually mark specific articles as "not interested" so you're given news stories that have nothing to do with your area/interests. "Not interested " button doesn't actually do anything. "Local" tab has been empty and unable to load news for days now.

It only shows half of the news title... and most news are just click bait from sources showing more ads than news.

everything seems to be behind a paywall
Nevermind the constant forgetting of source preferences, the latest version has been nothing but a slow and jittery mess when scrolling. It stutters CONSTANTLY just scrolling the feed. No amount of force closing, restarting, or cache clearing has helped. Just a mess now.
news is speculating and often overly flashed .
My feed is *always* bad quality and suggests off-brand articles that disregard my tastes every time Google sporadically removes the thumbs-up option from one update to the next.

I only find persistent ads forcing you to subscribe as a condition to access any news or article.
