update: it's been months and no fix has happened. Completely unacceptable for a paid service from a tech giant. Fix this or make storage free! Shared albums won't sync! Now when others I've shared albums with try to upload photos, I can't see them on my end, online or on the phone. This was the only workaround sharing photos across device types for years and now it's useless. What's the point?!
I tried editing. Total waste of time. The whole video was just the first frame. I tried it several times and restarted the phone and tried again. As far as exiting: rubbish.
why make a zoom function that locks my zooming. why lock it at all, I need to find little corrections but your stupid zoom cant zoom past 1.0000001x

automatically saved photos to backup. tried to remove them from backup and it deleted them all.

Does what needs to be done! now 7 may 2026. if you don't enable the back-up to cloud it won't show any of your other photos/pictures (in other folders). I'm not paying for extra online back-up just to see all of my photos/pictures in the app. this is a real bummer. loved the app, but it not showing all of your pictures on your phone's storage, is just a big downer! It should provide the option to not back-up and still show all of your photos/pictures. not just the main camera folder.

Absolutely horrible update added creepy AI features no one wanted. I now have this intrusive shimmering outline around people in my photos and there is no way to turn it off. One of the most out of touch, gross features I've seen and cannot believe this was added.

Really annoyed by the stickers feature constantly sending a creepy shimmering outline over my photos. This app came with my device, but I'll be doing research on alternatives, up to and including replacing the device altogether.
Garbage
Right. not stoked on this dog pile of an app because it keeps trying to make me put my photos on the cloud. So listen Google and listen good. I DON'T WANT TO PUT MY PHOTOS ON THE CLOUD OK. So stop trying to force me to. It's my choice not yours.
I can't set time for every photo in a movie And it's very fast video Editer isn't good but the app is ok😐
