Utterly useless if it can never manage to send a notification. I ask assistant to remind me of something, and it disappears into the aether. Single-handedly ruins the entire "helpful" ecosystem of android with Google apps. You have ONE JOB.
Time based reminders do not work anymore. I am consistently getting time-sensitive reminders anywhere from two hours to 24 hours late. Please fix this, this is the only reason this app exists.
Reminders are often very late or never appear. I have checked power saving settings and ensures that notifications are enabled. This issue has been occurring since they split this app away from Calendar. Google has not addressed this widespread issue.

Not a good app to manage task, please add search bar, google calender, make subtasks repeated & hide subtasks, its become long, improve this app, it's useless nothing in this app, why you guys made it ??, not usefull😡
Incredibly unreliable. Doesn't send a notification for a task I set through Gemini/Google assistant. No sound, no notification. I check the app and shows the task is in there but never appeared at the time it was set for. Yes all my notifications are on in the app settings and yes my notification volume is turned up on my phone.
repeating task and taskd details are somewhat buggy
this isn't a task manager, that terminology is used for an application that allows you to control active apps on your phone, and view usage data android used to have one built in, but Google removed that to prevent people from stopping their creepy tracking programs from running in the background.
I have missed every reminder I set using the Google assistant.. and it is the default app that Gemini uses.. the worst Google feature by far.. may be of all time.. the reminder has the weakest reminder mechanism( like sound or alert).
I'm uninstalling this stupid app. I had a task yesterday and it reminds me today, this is how stupid this app really is. Not even worth downloading if it does that, delayed reminders is pathetic. Goodbye 666 corporation
What kind of idiot adds tasks to the TOP of a list? when you write out a list by hand you go down the page. this one just keeps adding it to the top and will not let you flip the order
Seriously needs a better way to view the tasks rather than a standalone list. Google Calendar is ironically an extremely better app for everything related to tasks; be it for viewing or creating them.

Recurring tasks don't automatically reset to the next due date when completed. You have to manually select "delete all completed tasks" to see upcoming recurring tasks. This has already caused me to pay my credit card late as I expected it to reset when I completed the task. Terrible workaround

reminders are still not working properly. add more formatting functions like those in Keep.
App notifications are extremely unreliable. Sometimes you'll get them, sometimes you won't. Don't count on this app for important items.
finally fix tasks to be searchable on google calendar. why don't you improve the Google workspace system and lead us to other platforms?

Repeat tasks should show up next occurrence immediately once completed, not only on the day they next occur. I can't use this if I can't see what's coming up ahead.
Overall helpful but my god is this the most irritating app when you change time zones and as far as I can tell, there's no fixing it. I'm in a different time zone than usual and it automatically adjusted the time for my tasks to go off at different times which is understandable so i'm not too upset with that part but my god for some godforsaken reason it does not let you adjust it to the time you actually want it on. This is so stupid and irritating, please fix this
It would be good if there was a way to reorder lists, such as move a list from position 3 to 2, etc edit: Every time I add a sub task to a list on my phone (pixel 9 pro), it scrolls up and I have to scroll down to keep adding tasks, very annoying
