I'm absolutely disappointed with how the app freezes when creating automatic edits. It's not clear how much volume it can handle, i.e. how many short videos I can enter. And I'm using the paid plus version. The only way to stop the freeze is to restart the phone. Is this normal?

all my footage is playing at 1/4th speed for the last 3 weeks or so. I turn the speed up to 1x and it starts freezing. Help! replying to your note. It's not an upload... it happens when I preview the video. My network speed is fine.

To pricey for a buggy app. Insta360 app is free and have a lot of features than the paid GoPro app. That is why I edit the GoPro videos in Insta360 app instead. EDIT: Your reply is irrelevant.
app sucks always trouble connecting and it's slow very frustrating app
Clunky, glitchy app! lacks basic features. limited to default settings (duration of a clip). Buffering is rediculous, processes for 10sec for tiny edits. Spent 1hr making an edit but "save" button wasn't displayed. Didnt save, & lost the clip!? Edit: thought it could get any worse, but it did just that. Absolutely horrendous.. clips not flowing smoothly together, constantly freezes, breaks in the audio between clips, etc. Painfully terrible. Fire developers and get some new ones!?! 🗑🚮
Poor app... All paid... Worst camera.. No service in india...
You download videos to the phone, then have to upload it to the cloud (paid) just to download and save it to your phone?
After getting the subscription I wanted to do some video edits. It always gets stuck on analysing video part. I tried restarting the device, clearing the cache, and I don't have VPN. It still doesn't work. I don't understand why there isn't any software for GoPro on PC? this is a known issue and I don't see fix anytime soon, since the developers only have generic answer for everyone. Edit: Device has 200+GB free space. Link you gave advise third party software. Service i paid, isn't provided.

It used to be great, not anymore. You pay for a year subscription. You just lost your money. It catches, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
Used to work really well. Now all the controls of the keyframe transitions are gone. This app was such a great solution to edit my videos on the phone without having to use my computer. Now it doesn't produce the results I want to have. What a pity.

Can't get rid of GoPro's terrible outro photo
What a joke... Money hungry greedy people first you subscribe to GoPro then in order to save your videos you have to subscribe to GoPro quik. Not impressed one bit.also if you don't shut this app off or delete it it'll drain your life right out of your phone It eats data constantly and it's not even turned on I have to uninstall this

it was a good app to make albums and I was using it but suddenly it started asking money TO MAKE ALBUMS? like isn't that the whole point of the app do not download it you will just get disappointed
It is unfathomable how a company as big as GoPro can make an app so bad. Downloading video to your phone wirelessly takes an EXTREMELY long time to do, and it super buggy. As such, I tried downloading the videos via a physical cable. It just doesn't even work. I'm getting an Insta360 for my next camera because of how awful this app is. Also, why would this app not store videos in my gallery? Why do I have to create a second copy of a video for it to be in my gallery? It's nonsensical.
Would not recommend GoPro to any of my friends that want to make content. The amount of time you waste shuffling through videos because the app itself uses up all your phone or tablets storage even though you pay for this unlimited cloud storage that absolutely means and does nothing to help storage videos so that you can continue to take footage to edit after your trip.

App forced an update and Firmware update and now I'm unable to view or download any images using the app. I can connect to the camera but not view any media. You broke everything with this update.
I just bought a Hero 13black it keep saying "something went wrong, we couldn't update your camera ". I keep trying trying over and over to to update but same results therfore I can't use the camera. I may return it.

riddled with ads and upselling. I'd rather use any other free software, if the manufacturer hadn't locked down their monopoly on these cameras and refused to let other developers interface with the device I bought. As it is, we are stuck here, enduring ads and subscriptions to a device I purchased with my money. But it seems like they are eager to squeeze out more profit

recently when I trim a video in order to get a clip and I click share, it sends a completely different section of the video different timeline, different length, different scene. nothing helped to fix this. reinstalling etc...
worked great until this new update. I use to be able to view and control recording, (starting and stopping) from my phone. now everything has to be controlled from the camera. if its not broke, don't fix it. geeze!!! bring back the options and capabilities it once had a few months ago. we need to see live footage from our phones and tablets as the camera sees it.
For an app that tries to upsell me to its subscription at every possible step, I would expect the basic features to be usable, but sadly, this is not the case. I give this app a chance every year, and every time I run into the same issues. No footage found, connection issues, unusably slow video editing, and so on.
