Having been a gourmet society customer for about 10 years now I can confirm this app is by far the worst app I've ever used. This hideous mess has never been fit for purpose. Pathetic waste of time.

TERRIBLE! I have wasted so much time trying to sort it out... tried phoning but apparently Gourmet Society is so unhelpful they won't speak to customers anymore!! The concept of the 'card' is good for savings BUT communication via app is AWFUL! How can I log in with my membership number if I don't know it??!! Needs to improve ASAP.
Will not accept any of the codes sent to me. Even blocked me as I have tried so many times.

My card doesn't work at Marston's Lost Coins in Haverfordwest - very disappointed.
App does not allow me to log in. Keeps showing SSL Certificate error. This has happened since last update, and this was over 8 months ago. Losing out on my bonus with Llyods Club account since 8 months now. Tried calling the customer service number, was waiting for 37 mins and still get connected to anyone. Used to love to use this app before. The update ruined it all.
I’ve used Gourmet Society for many years but this year I can’t download the app. They keep advising me to follow the process and instructions which are I’ve followed to the letter but still no luck!! Looking at other reviews clearly it’s an error their end so despite being entitled to my discount card I still can’t use the service. Still waiting to be resolved or refunded. Don’t bother would be my advice to new customers.
app will not allow me to change the location from London to where I actually am. So there is no way for me to search my area for discounts.
I hadn't used the app for a few weeks & now GS wants me to register & log in all over again 🤷🏻♂️ I tried to do this but GS plus is asking for password manager access!! Why?? I'm really not happy with this app. It used to be a decent addition from Lloyds but I've lost faith.
Example of an offer: Not available in December; Not available on Fridays; Not available on Saturdays; Not available on Bank holidays; max diners:2 That is just one venue. Something else: which are those promised airport lounges with discount?? Goodbye!

Wish we could score zero stars as several attempts to install and use this app only result in endless frustration and disappointment. These so called benefits and enhancements to our accounts would be better served by reduced bank charges. Really hope the decision makers are taking note !!!
I am fed up with how hard it is to use this app & all the hoops you now make us jump thro to re register every year! Its not "fit for purpose" any more, for all the reasons other reviwers have mentioned (wish I'd realised much sooner I'm not alone). Also, looks like its still registered to my OLD phone & I darent uninstall it to retry! This used to be a worthwhile perk of a Lloyds a/c, but NO MORE. Someone must be benefitting frm this arrangement, but its clearly not the customers!

Takes about 20 minutes to re-register every time I want to use this. The offers seem good .... if only I could access them.
It was easy a couple of years ago now you want us to kinp through hoops just to belong to gourmet society.. I'm 89 severely sight impaired and can't remember passwords. why do you want them, you know we are Lloyds customers. It used to be no problem to be a member. Most disappointed

App hasn't worked most of the times I've tried to use it. In fact, I've only been able to use it once since June 24. I've tried reinstalling today. It's exactly the same. It's completely unreliable! This is a waste of my club lloyds benefit. I will not select it next year.

It's a truly appalling bug ridden app. Life is too short tol list all of the issues. Get some better developers and test it properly before leaving your customers to tussel with it.

What experience? I naively assumed that due to all the bad reviews, Gourmet Society would have sorted their app out. No. No they haven't. Is it deliberate so we can't use our "FREE membership" as part of the Veterans Lottery? I thought the idea was to support charities, not con them!!!!? Sort it out.
