I observed that companies discriminate against guys based on their locations. If you pay the same money live in the same country you will have different services. They give you two "right now" or 5. If you live in London you are more suprime for them if you live outside of London when you can be discriminated. I asked them to explain why it's happening, why someone in London deserves more products and in the back I had nothing.

06/2026: Grindr proves annually it's not a culturally safe space, it's disgusting the amount of racism, homophobia, transphobia & objectifying on Grindr, when you address it you get flagged for "harassment" as the cowards report & block you. Not to mention the sheer number of unsolicited d pics sent to you & too many catfish/fake profiles here that will steal & use your photos. Highly recommend using another queer app that actually respects & ACTUALLY STANDS UP for marginalised communities!😴
They continue to limit the accessibility of this app in hopes of getting every nickel they can out of you. Getting worse year over year. Hopefully a competitor swoops in soon.
Ver 26.10.0, 2/3rds of every profile is just advertisement for an AI-slop subscription for as much as $4200 a year, called 'Insights'. The filters are broken, and over half the remaining profiles are ai-slop scams and bots trying to get users to send money, subscribe to an OF account, or be scammed via Telegram. And it takes nearly 10x longer to load the list of nearby users than any of the ads. The incessant ads are the only things prioritized by the developers.

Bad because it doesn't want to open by me.
Ads take up all the space, hijack/redirect to malware websites in browser. User profiles are replaced with ads. There are more bot/sxam accounts then actual users. I'm convinced the developers are working with the scammers by this point. If you can't beat them, hire them, I guess. I have a screenshot of 3 different profiles, all the same name, all the same woman, of a scammer account. Fat lot of good it does reporting them though.
I did not violate any of their terms and conditions. I wasn't given a fair review if I was given a fair review they would have reinstated my account. Anybody can report you and get you removed for anything they never reinstate your accounts because they never fully investigate. I would not recommend using this site!
Full of ads and bots. If you waste money on it you find out the good potential matches live too far from you. not worth it at all
this app has gone down hill for free users. not only have they added an incredible amount of ads and limited feature access but is buggy and freezes. they were making money off of me by the ads that's fair they need to make a profit.....but the limiting is so restrictive and buggy it's a waste of time and frustrating

I just installed the app, and when I created an account, it said I was banned. I haven't even had the chance to use the app yet, and I'm already banned? That's weird as hell.
harvesting data isn't enough. enshitification the app. I don't remember the last time Scruff locked basic features behind paywalls so I'll use that instead.
Uploaded didn't work, did a force stop then uninstalled and rebooted many times on my phone. Main page comes up black and blank with no profiles.
nonstop ads.. as if that's not bad enough, all I did was click an X on top right to close the ad and it downloaded two apps without my permission. Sammy app with viruses (computer type and probably peopletype). dont use🤣
90% spam/questions. I hope Grindr screens thier users better. Most users just janking/collecting and cruising with minimal quality.

The only app I know that embraces ads that cannot be closed - forcing you to close and restart the app the clear the ad.
used to love this app as it was genuinely good! however now? filled to the brim with adds and other annoyance. sad to say that Grindr is not longer reccomended
Too many ads, the app is just dead for small towns like where I'm from, and overall, I've just had bad experiences from this app.

A lot of fake profiles, I really hate the lack of gay guys and a bunch of straight women in a gay app.
The photo verification process was unsuccessful eight times. I don't think I will try again.

I have had this app over several years, and it is useless. Ads pop up all the time to the point of harrassment. You have scamming and phishing profiles coming at you left and right, and you report them, but no matter how many times you report and block them, 5 more takes its place. I have paid subscription to this app several times, and I am not impressed. Any tier of subscription to this app has only been disappointing.
Stupid app
I now have a stalker probably waiting to catch me or some women in my household to step out and be vulnerable because you guys have a map that I can't turn off my location weather I have it on or off via my own phone's setting, that's gonna get someone hurt or worse!! YOU NEED TO DO BETTER, PRIORITIES SAFETY AT ALL COST
