so something you need to know about this app is that the images that are used to advertise it don't actually appear in the app. there is a paid version, a subscription that you pay monthly. the free version lists about three things that you can either plant indoors or plant outdoors. tomatoes and cukes. there, that is the free version. anything beyond that you have to pay a subscription. skip this. there is more information in a single Google search than in the free version of this app.
It's a paid app, it's free for 7 days and then it's 40 bucks a year. Learn to make the important parts of your app pay walled, everything else free so people actually want to use it. I'm not paying for something I won't need all of.
BAIT AND SWITCH - DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!! Only gives you a 7 day trial then makes you pay. If you're unsure, just download an updated hardiness zone map, confirm what zone you're in and that'll give you a good idea about final frost and when to plant. Buy plants/seeds compatible to this zone ONLY! Lastly, NEVER PAY FOR APPS LIKE THESE TRYING TO ROB YOU WHEN ALL THE NECESSARY INFO POPS UP WITH A QUICK GOOGLE SEARCH!!! Bunch of crooks.

I was really excited about this app and I even paid the ridiculous price for gold membership, only to realize that everytime you open the app it says "lost connection", none of my "plan to grow" or "growing" selections are there. It doesnt save anything which defeats the purpose of the app for me.
not good couldn't find any of my plants and they are very common and for the ones I was able to find lots of incorrect advice

goes through a setup then doesn't let you use the app unless you pay a subscription that isn't mentioned anywhere. save your time and money and get something else EDIT: In reply to this was told there are many core features available for free. It was not clear at all that was an option and does not give any indication of that when the app is demanding money. To be clear, things cost money to make and maintain. Thats acceptable. what I think isn't is hiding the cost until the last minute.

I can't figure out how to cancel the subscription!
Literally the first thing it did was ask me some questions and then try to get me to subscribe. Uninstalled instantly. At least give me a few hours or days to test before you push me to a purchase. Always uninstall something that hides pay to use rather then unlocking later.
I don't like it, you need to pay.
This app would not let me choose my location. When I let it use my gps, it put me in a city that is zone 5A. I live 60 miles north in zone 3A, making this app useless to me. I guess it's back to pen and per for me, thanks.

Does not work for southern hemisphere. Even after changing location, it still says the wrong plants for the season, also says it is cold in all months which is also incorrect. I also see that some plants appear more than twice on the "Plant this month' sections
less plant options then an average seed company and pricey subscription
I cancelled my trial and it took the payment from my ex husband's PayPal which I did not allow. it is a scam. do not download

It crashes frequently and is unreliable. ⚠️ Do NOT install this app. Once you open it, it automatically deducts money from your account. 📅 My trial ended on December 6, but on December 16 they charged me ₱2,300 without my consent or clear notice. This app is not transparent and feels deceptive. Not recommended.
support service is nonexistent. after free trial ended they subscribe me for another whole year and took 47€!
As has been pointed out by other reviews, there is no actual fre trial. If you have to put in your CC info then it's not free. Plenty of other apps have it where you can use it for a certain period of time and then have to put in your info. Having to put in your info first is just the company hoping you will forget to cancel. Basically a scam.

Good during trial! Not good after subscribing! I was getting constant reminder notifications during trial but not after purchasing. Also, it takes several times to get the app to open, always trying to reconnect. I was hoping this would be the right app for me. It would be, if you can get it to open and actually use it, if notifications worked and I didn't lose money. I have done this for so many apps and afterwards they still don't work. I wasted my money on this app and no respinsw to emails!

"Almost useful" sums it up. It's a good encyclopedia for plant data, but it fails as a planner. After inputting my entire garden, I realized there's no way to see a high-level calendar or schedule. Had to resort to pen and paper to build a timeline... If it had a timeline view of my garden, it would be a great tool.
I've ran into this issue multiple times. On app launch, you must be fetching the data in the background after the app launches, meaning I'm getting into states where it shows my garden as empty, and no veg. The first time it happened I assumed the app reset. So I created another garden and added all my veg again. Then on the next app launch it must've sync'd properly, and now I had duplicated everything.
good app but could be better. says based on location but clearly that's not true and half my veggies aren't appearing on the app
I'm liking it though
seems like a nice app but doesn't have common/heirloom vegetable plants that I grow. (early girl tomatoes, mortgage lifter tomatoes, galletta strawberries) I stopped searching after this so there may be more but for $30/year it's def not worth it.

even I paid, can't find lots of flowers, vegetables and fruits. it's a shame. lots of free similar apps have much more functions.
surely it depends on the climate in different areas.
I really don't find it useful at all. Nothing new in it, nothing that you can't find with 10 sec search in Google. It doesn't let me change the units of measurement - I am stuck at °F. Probably it is made for USA only, because even with location on, it doesn't recognize my location.
