Deliveries are slow. Food always arrives cold and needs to be reheated. They are scheduling one driver to pick up multiple orders while your food slides around in the back seat. Instead of having the driver finish a 1-milev delivery, they have that driver waiting 15 min for somebody else's food instead of completing your delivery before waiting on next order. Avoid hot sandwiches or anything that gets soggy and doesn't reheat well. Forget about enjoying French fries.

please restore dark mode. Bright mode hurts my eyes.
App no longer in dark mode. it's now a bright white screen which hurts my eyes and I will not use this app until the dark mode is back because this is unusable. nobody wants a bright white screen that you can barely read anything on, why is there no option to turn this off? I refuse to use any app that will not allow me to use dark mode so until this is fixed I will not be using this app.
had to reset the entire app because it said a restaurant that was 100% open was closed each time I tried to add an item, and so I closed the app and reopened. now I could order just fine but the app was stuck in light mode (and this app has NO SETTINGS so there's no way to manually fix that). full reset. e: 2 weeks later, it happened AGAIN.
What did you guys do with the recent update?! Dark mode is gone, glaring white is no bueno... :(
after newest update, app keeps reverting to light mode from dark. there are no visible settings to set the mode. uninstall and reinstall fixes it temporarily. it's honestly so bad that I've uninstalled and use a browser extension to force dark mode on the website.
You couldn't give me $50 off and expect me to use this app again
I would give it 0 stars if I could, the. app now forces light mode and no longer supports dark mode. ontop of that it doesn't have the same deals as other apps. until they return dark mode I will not use this app

New update disables Dark Mode. My eyes hurt.
Be mindful when using this app. I placed an order that never arrived and all they offered was a $5 store credit, No refund. and this is a patern with them.

Easily the least efficient and untimely food order app I've dealt with. my food orders always come way too late, to the point my food will be either cold or soggy by the time it gets to me, and I can tell by watching the courier on the map that it's not their fault and it's not the numerous restaurants I've ordered when I always end up with the same issue. it's a consistent issue with Grubhub themselves.
where did dark mode go
Normally, I wouldn't care enough about this app to actually write a review about it. However, for some reason it switched to a light theme for some reason and I can't change it back. It's already a sub par app for an overly expensive, trash quality service. I'm aware it's petty to be driven to write a bad review just based on the theme, but I guess this was the tipping point for me.
Bring back dark mode.
never picked up order never arrived on time
Customer service experience is horrible. Why pay double Delivery fees for late and cold food.
The restaurant didn't deliver and Grubhub wouldn't refund.
price gouging to a truly despicable degree
have had MANY awful experiences lately. Last time I ordered I was waiting THREE HOURS for the food, because nobody was able to accept the order and when I tried to cancel the order, they miraculously found a driver but the pizza place already reported to me that the pizza was cold... This last time the identical order was somehow placed TWICE within seconds. idk how, maybe when I pressed back to change one time? but the order was identical for both. there was no way of knowing until arrival too
Constantly getting orders canceled because there is a severe lack of drivers or something. But the main problem is they cancel the order after 3 hours of making me wait instead of doing it immediately
Removed dark mode. It's the smallest dumbest thing. But since there is no dark mode, I won't be using grubhub. Uber eats has dark mode
Dark mode has suddenly disappeared. I suffer from migraines that are triggered by light and I will not be using this app again until it's fixed. This is a serious accessibility issue.

DON'T USE THIS APP. Customer service is no help. Orders get canceled, stolen, never show up and you will not get a refund. They give you credit towards another order that won't show up, or take 2 hrs or be cold by the time is actually gets to you, if it does at all.

I've never received an order less than an hour and a half after the maximum initial estimate; that seems unacceptable. You move the on time to meet this extended time line; this is also unacceptable. Stop giving time lines until the driver finishes all other drops, or reduce the number of orders a person can take.
Almost always late, but they keep updating the arrival time and claim it's "on time". Deliveries ALWAYS cold. Do better!
stay the hell away from Grubhub. If you think DoorDash is bad, this is the worst. Support is useless, the drivers will be super late just to get useless AI support. Expect to have your orders late, stolen, and not to get a redund ebn if you have video proof. 0/10
I would give this a lower review if I could. orders frequently are very late and disappear altogether. imagine waiting for 2 hours for a damn pizza and it never arrives and the best they can do is another replacement or refund. worthless service.
They took away dark mode and as someone who gets migraines staring at bright white pages, especially in a dark area, it makes the app unusable. I refuse to use it until there is an option to revert back.
I've been using this app for years and for some reason it automatically set my app to light mode and removed the app settings tab so I can't change it back
too many fees. delivery, service fee, sometimes upcharges writing a special instruction. and tax of course. original price is decent but after all these fees, its just not worth it. after like 10-15 yrs with grubhub, im done.
Updated to forget data? Apparently so. this last week had a record number of wrong orders after long (up to 1 hour) waits.

it was perfectly fine until the other day. I have my phone and apps all set to dark mode if I can due to ny eyes, and for some reason when I opened it just now, the dark mode is gone. and there is no option to fix it.
I'd rather cook than look at that bright white screen. What happened to dark mode?!

over priced garbage
this is a terrible app, I have six issues with this app. the first issue that I had is where the order kept getting delay because they cant find a driver. once they found a driver, my order was cold and I had to warm it up. this was McDonald's, McDonald's food is not good warmed up especially their fries. This happened four times. the two times is where the drives delivery driver to the wrong address and lied to me about it. the last time I used the app the delivery driver deleted my order.
