I CANT LOGIN WITH GOOGLE ACCOUNT TO ACCESS THIS APP FOR ME TO POST AN AD. IT KEEPS SAYING LOGIN FAILED. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE NOW. I ALREADY REINSTALLED THIS APP AGAIN AND ITS STILL FAILING TO GET ME LOGGED IN. WHAT A RUBBISH APP. YOU ALL NEED TO FIX THIS.

This app is outdated and will be obsolete very soon. Catch up or pay the price. Oh you have already made your money hopefully you're not a gambling addict. Null and void.

Getting worse and worse! Search is useless. Totally unrelated items come up. Nearest to me has never worked properly. I'm over it! Switching to another platform!
gumtree app crashing when i click on jobs or my messages on gumtree app. please fix it thanks but app is good when it works. really pathetic app seriously. why have one if it crashes every hour !! Nobody fixed it for 6 months now
I requested a refund, no response - there is no realistic customer service. Gumtree is not good for recommending anyone.
NEW UPDATE IS BROKEN IT NOW SAYS NO INTERNET AVAILABLE AND YET MY INTERNET IS ONLINE SO WHAT GIVES IT WAS WORKING BEFORE THIS UPDATE.

updated app and now it won't open. worked fine before update.
This app is not used much anymore due to the fact that Gumtree doesn't manage ads as much as it does. So you end up with lots of totally unrelated results to searches and so finding what you want is far too difficult. Also it's advertising partner links are insanely intrusive. even putting your finger on the screen to scroll through the listings (if your finger is over their advertiser link) you are annoyingly sent to the advertisers link! Don't bother with this, unless you need it.

old location functionality was way better, user experience below par, doesn't remember settings in search.
Literally unusable. The app runs do slowly even on high end phone with 12gb of memory.
unsubscribe, was a favourite was ..NOT any more, big prices second hand big prices , puppys to many look to me like puppy market.
you now have to pay to post an ad on gumtree. Absolute bs.
I can no longer search the area that I would like to search like New South Wales it won't search for me typing each and every town how can you do that we're looking for real estate. YOU PEOPLE WITH MUCKED UP THIS APP TOTALLY. PUT IT BACK OUT WAS IN APRIL
It used to be awesome. Now there's ads that reduces the item screen and makes it frustrating to look through. Not to mention the search bar up the tip that takes up a massive chunk of the screen.

20 bucks to advertise car and after 2 months not a single enquiry!! FB marketplace is King

And it is hard to avoid these listings as they pop up on the home page. Horrible!
Saved searches are frequently deleted and need to be setup over and over. Search in general has changed dramatically and now (like FB Marketplace) returns results that are in no way related to the search string. Saved search notifications are always time wasting false alarms. It's a shame; all these things previously worked well.
Make Gumtree Free Again
recently the app has been terrible for me, I have searched lg fridge and have had in the results an electric blanket, an electric heater, a glass front cabinet as well as many other non related items. Then when I try to sort them by cheapest I will get a $50 item, then a $700 item, then a $10 item, then a $300 item. Don't know if it is just mine? Surely not.

difficult and searching always defaults to include new items aggghhh! need better control to exclude unwanted retail.
Stop deleting my saved searches!
I've loved Gumtree for 5 years, but am not impressed with the recent updates. I type in what I'm looking for, but am deluged with 90% irrelevant junk, way off topic... resulting in wasted time, copious scrolling & extra fiddling with extra filters. That's no upgrade - that's sabotage. Badly done, Gumtree!😠
