Absolutely loved thronebreaker but this? After finishing Throne I picked this up but man, what a waste of money. It looked awesome from the outside, after completing a couple of boss runs I just thought, is this all? It's such a waste of a good game and it feels like a cheap cash grab by project... cmon guys, you have 2 banger mobile games. Make this one also great bc if you plan on making another one, I will definitely not buy it and hope others won't too unless it's actually up to standards.
Worst roguelike card game ever.
Lacks depth, relies on sheer dumb luck. Also resembles nothing of the original gwent from the witcher 3. Just play slay the spire.
This is a broken pile that is not being fixed so do not waste the money.
The inability to actually build a deck defeats the purpose of a card base game. A complete bait and switch from what we all loved in the Witcher 3. Please do not buy this, it is too expensive for what it has to offer. It has a lot of promise but fails to come through. I hope they can make changes and give people the opportunity to build decks that they get to keep.
As a Gwent pro for years and a big fan of the witcher universe, I am very disappointed. Firstly, if you make a single player game, why the hell you cannot start this app without internet connection?! Good job guys, so in a plane or for me working on a cruise ship, completely useless, when offline. Lets sell coffe too go in plastic cups, but you cannot leave our shop with drinks! The game itself is just very boring and anoying. Big Thumbs down.
Only purchased for the multilayer GWENT the refund button has disappeared and I don't want to pay for the deluxe. My bad I didn't read properly, wouldn't mind a refund.
My Experience: Start New Game. ....black Screen. Nothing happening. Rrr. I don't understand how or why it won't Load... Help?
Gwent PVP is great, but gets old quick. This got old after two rounds of getting my nards kicked and having all my cards reset each time. All that just to try again? Paid $10 for something that is monotonous, no plot, no way to advance, and always loose at the questions marks. Disappointed.
I never downloaded this game yet they somehow charged my card attached to Google Play, I would stay far away from whatever this game or developers are.
Game stuck on loading after logging in on an account on a galaxy tab A. after contact with support, nothing has changed. Too bad, because ik a geënt and witcher fan. The game needs fixing before it's usable. dev> dennis32
DO NOT BUY. Game is unfair. Unbalanced and relied on RNG for so much of the game. Trying to build a summons/consuming deck? Fight a guy that locks down all units past 4 and damages them for 3. Got a 100 point lead? Last card the enemy plays damages your units for the amount boosted. Watch as over the next 30 seconds you get your entire team decimated by one card. If you aren't spamming gimmicks the game isn't even playable in my opinion. They need some serious tuning.
After almost 2 weeks, I'm writing a review again. Having bought the deluxe edition, I still haven't received my rewards, and the support team is just copy pasting me the same solutions, which is to log in and log out, or launch the game, like I haven't done that already. Clearly don't care enough to go through with it and I'm forced to write 10 emails. All in all, one of the poorest customer service expirience i ever came across. Quite literally. At this point I just want my money back.
Bought it. Played through once and lost to dragon. Played through second time and lost along the way. Now stuck in the laboratory and can't enter the portal...so I guess the game is over for me. I've tried reinstalling and same issue. That was a lot of money down the drain. Shame though, as it was fun while it lasted.
Unable to continue the game (run). Game freezes during loading. Also no full Polish voiceover, only subtitles. I wish I could refunded it
I've upgraded for premium and not received any of the regards for GWENT tried uninstalling etc still nothing. Same gog account is linked. Play store didn't send me an email yet the transaction is in my history.

Game is fun but having enjoyed Gwent online and in the Witcher, this was honestly disappointing, and really feels like a rushed job. 1. the game has changed again, now it's 2 rows and the categories of the rows have minimal meaning. 2. the way the cards synergize is nothing like the other games either. 3. scrolling is buggy on phones, there is no option to speed up the many animations, and in general its a rushed mobile port. 4. Its a repetitive loop, you play 1 map, then go back to lab, repeat
I have enjoyed cd project reds apps but this one not worth 12 bucks. Rng game design way too difficult to be entertaining..wasnt able to progress=not fun also where is the thronebreaker expansion fix for the gwent mobile...disappointed... I shoulda checked reviews before downloading Rogue..
This game forces you to use the most BORING starting decks possible while getting smoked by enemy decks that have really cool interactions. Progression is also extremely slow to get any new decks or useful cards to make it more interesting. Add in top of that the touch screen interactions are super inconsistent such as holding a press to get info on a card or even just SCROLLING is painfully slow and even difficult to hit just the right spot to actually scroll instead of select a card.
I hate that they gave up on this game. It has so much potential.
Not a fun game... they changed how it works from the original rules. Now you play out your hand, best of 1. No real row interaction... no thought really. And when there was synergy, I was underwhelmed.
Deck builds don't save. Every start is fresh and the bosses can be extremely hard. You absolutely have to use spells to make it to the final boss and some of them are ridiculous. You can think your doing fine 130-30 and all of the sudden every one of your cards are dead, hand attacked, energy drained. So many mechanics you really can't see on the surface. It's fun but it really wastes your time with little to show for it
The game itself is good, but the UI is so awful it can just be a hassle to play and more trouble than it is worth.
A good game at first, but suffers after the first successful run. Difficulty curve handled poorly. First the game handicaps you then enemies become far more skilled while the player has almost no ability to actually raise their power to meet the challenge. A great idea, but doesn't seem to be handled with care
I expected a story as in "thronebreaker". I got a repeatitive RNG runs. You lost me on this one. Done with you.

Game is very fun but currently when I go to sign in it says unavailable I've already made it pretty far I will give 5 stars if this can be fixed

The game is ok. I love Gwent and I love roguelikes but the game balance is off. Not worth the $10 right now. It has potential but needs some tweaks like going to the best 2 out of 3 or giving you a choice of starting cards. It is fun for a bit and then frustrating. Roguelikes are hard to master and this one just feels repetitive. You have no chance of winning until you are a high level which is just a grind. This game feels like a grind!

It's just another Slay the Spire rip-off but it's Gwent. There are dozens of these things on the Playstore but most don't ask you to pay for them first. There is not much exceptional about this spin-off, honestly.
Very bland experience. There are only 3 bosses. Not much of a roguelike card game experience when the loot doesn't really change the binary nature of the decks. Buy thronebreakers or slay the spire instead.
Great game but I haven't received my Gwent content for buying the premium version of Rogue Mage! I've tried logging out of both games and logging back in but nothing! Will update rating once I receive the content I paid 10.00 for!
Well, first and foremost it's only one turn, there goes the strategy of making your opponent overplay. It's literally just slap cards down until you move onto the next battle, granted I only have an hour or so of play time but still.
Not what I hoped. Loved Thronebreaker and gwent (for a time). I would like to spend more time in the witcher world and while impressive, this just concentrates the pointless, grindy, time-wasting aspects of gwent. Dissaponted uninstall.
