Signing up to Google Wallet is an absolutely horrendous process (doesn't work at all). Only way to add the card to Google Wallet is by actually ringing. Atrocious untested rubbish from Halifax

do not like new and compulsory options for describing outgoing payments, because options are not sufficiently accurate, forcing me to describe payment as something it is not. also do not want to have to confirm i have called payee to confirm account info, when i am confident it is correct, and i have not called them. the new system may protect the bank, but forces me, your customer, to make false confirmations online. in my opinion halifax bank needs to change this new system. copy kept 23/6/26

cant search transactions. cant view upcoming payments. cant view spending insights. what can we view other than our balance? I've banked with you for over 10years now and im actually considering leaving. if you cant get an app right what else are you going to get wrong!!

Currently a problem with signing in... I'm having to change my memorable information everytime I sign in... I've tried to send messages to customer service but it's an automated service and it doesn't cover my problem and any messages I've directly sent to Halifax don't get a response... It's been happening on and off since last update... Now it's everytime I sign in.. Can someone fix this, it's extremely irritating and not at convenient.

I got locked out of online banking for logging in and out too much I think trying to make a transaction ....I am abroad now with no money and no support from Halifax....I have been in contact with your social team on "X" but they cannot assist me apart from throw phone numbers at me like a demented bingo caller .....none of which work fyi

app worked flawlessly for years, now like others giving 1 star reviews the app keeps encountering technical problems and you can't log in. was with support for 1 hour who suggested the classic uninstall etc. which didn't work... so told me to ring online banking team cold. Zero acknowledgement there is an issue from Halifax, very frustrating experience. AVOID.

This app has become difficult to use. It always opened in horizontal view on my tablet but since the last update that has changed. Going from the best banking app to the worse in one update. You should be ashamed.

I have changed my rating to 2 star. The app has become overly complicated. Yes it's useful to see your account details and manage the basics, but there are too many features and it's now become difficult to find anything on the screen. Even a recurring standing order is impossible to setup.

Now no longer shows green and verified by Google play, but has a blue colour and is asking me to " wait before verifying on another device". Yet there is no other device and this is the registered number. Hopefully this phone is not hacked. If we cant trust Google play for authentoc downloads, what next. Time will tell, but something isnt right since last week. All updates show blue for installation and no " verified by Google" notification.
