It used to work perfectly but now it's completely useless. When I try to log in it just says there are technical problems and it will not give me access to my account. Have tried uninstall and reinstall but still will not work. As such I cannot access my account hence a one star rating.
the app does not work anymore. for several months when I go to log in an error comes up that we are having technical issues and cannot connect please log out and try again. I've cleared cache, uninstall and even done a full factory reset on my phone but still does not work. I've spoken to IT who said try what I've already tried. I can log in via a browser so it's an app issue

apps not been working for 4 or 5 days days now 🤔 tried everything....come on sort it oot .. *UPDATE* thanks, still getting error message saying technical problems unable to login. weird as worked for years prior to March 2026. *further update* May - will probably have to change banks soon as the app is still unusable, can't get anything done.

Appalling, I have had a problem with making transactions and went to chat online and got one message and I answered and got no reply at all in the half an hour I waited. I have had an account for over 40 years and now I am going to switch. They don't value your custom, Keep away
Worst. Banking. App. EVER!!!!!
Down for nearly a week so far for me. Can't log in, big red "technical problems" message after biometrics - cleared cache, cleared data, re-verified, no change.
I cant get jnto it.
Does not work on rooted device, indicates poor security practices ibternally at Halifax. Other banking apps work well on my rooted device.
really don't like the app since they connected it with lloyds. too many issues.

The devs should keep privacy in mind. when I close the app, the accounts and balances are still shown clearly in the recent apps.
I don't understand it.
Slow, painful and prompts for too many damn passwords.
