its defective. sound plays/screen all black...even after I rebooted my internet, reinstall app, cleared cache...all that. beyond frustrating.

Used to love this app. Every time I try and sign in it says my email is not valid. you send me thing on that email all the time. it works on the website but not the app.
Constantly disconnects while streaming and overall is very buggy compared to YouTube. I doubt anyone at Hallmark is actually working on the issues people are having.

Did you ever just want an app that was so slow, constantly crashes, and has low resolution? well here it is! the hallmark movies, I mean, plus app is here! I was so excited to see the captions wont shutoff sometimes ,the volume gets stuck. This app was sooo must better before this reskin. whoever thought I wanted to also get hounded by the hallmark cards emails? can go get wrecked too

Double Dipping I pay extra for Hallmark+ and other premium channels on YouTube TV and because I'm paying through YouTube TV, I can watch those premium channels using their apps but I can't watch Hallmark+ on the app unless I pay separately for the Hallmark+ app. I sent an email on this topic once before but nothing has changed.
Great Movie's anytime. Now I have the same problems as Jamie Brown. Can't stream from my phone or computer to my tv because it locks up. App on my Samsung tv don't work anymore either.

this app sucks. I do not recommend this app. I had to cancel this subscription twice due to the fact that the app did not accept either email address I used to create the login I called customer care and they didn't really seem to want to help or even care. I paid for months without the benefit of being able to watch any movies and their customer service is the worst

I'm very disappointed in the app. It has a glitch where the video portion will not play on my android tablet (audio works), no matter what I attempt to watch. I've been in touch with Support but they have done nothing in 2 months and tell me to watch on a different device.
I downloaded the app to my Smart TV, which says I need to update to the newest version. I have reinstalled the app and many other things and nothing works. I paid for the entire year and I'm not able to watch it. Do not subscribe to this streaming service because you won't be able to use it on your smart tv.

Absolute garbage app. It buffers and then freezes, and the worst part is that it doesn't save my progress. So every time it freezes, I have to start the episode over.
horrible. has to be the worst streaming app I have ever used. it rarely works. can not stream series without it stopping after each episode. HM CS told me it was my TV. BS! Too many glitches. Their programs are horrible. The Waltons, non stop Gilmore girls. OMG. I can I understand why people are switching to GAF which is slowly improving.
UPDATE: 3 months no response from Hallmark Crown, this issue still is not fixed for viewing on my phone and I see multiple reviews with similar problem. HALLMARK - FIX THE APP!! The app will no longer play the video, only audio. I've done all the troubleshooting available: updated the app, uninstalled/reinstalled, even speaking to Hallmark+ tech support and my phone carrier and brand tech support...no one has been able to fix it. It’s the only app on my phone that gives me this trouble 😞

I had to download this onto my tablet just to leave a review. I have the app downloaded on my Samsung TV and EVERY TIME I exit the app & go back in I have to sign back in. This is becoming so irritating it's enough to make me want to cancel my subscription. Also I think you should have ALL your movies available to watch. I love the older ones as the new ones are getting worse.
Edit: Just upgraded my Fire Stick to 4k and now I'm constantly getting error while the movie is playing in the background. please fix!! It used to be great! Ever since the update. My fire stick no longer works. I keep getting my device is not compatible. So now I can't watch what I'm paying for.. That would have been a great notification to send to those who have a subscription like myself!
I love watching hallmark & and phone app is great. The TV app is horrible! Everytime I try to start a movie I can't get passed the credits until it resets, multiple times. I end up starting the movie on phone app. Please work on the TV app.
Activated the free trial over a week ago and have yet to watch anything because the app crashes every time I hit play. Doesn't matter what show or movie. Its like, "Here's a free trial!!! You'll never get to use it but...here's a free trial!" Not ok...
Hard to cancel subscription
paid for my subscription via Google Play so I could keep up with my transactions and Hallmark has refused to help me fix it. Google has done everything they can do to fix it but Hallmark says it's not their problem

all this app ever allowed me to see was previews of Hallmark movies and I never got to watch not even one of the movies
CANNOT WATCH! whenever I go to watch a movie or show I get a pop up that says "Play back over cellular network is disabled." Thought i fixed it, Nope. Took phone to Tmobile i was there for 40 min, they said it is not disabled it and several looked at it to confirm that they all said it is a flaw in the app itself! This was a waste of money!

I love the shows and movies on here and would keep this app year round but there are so many problems with this app. It takes forever to load and crashes a lot. I finally had to unsubscribe because after trying all the troubleshooting for a week, when it finally loaded it would only play the sound and not have any picture. Please fix this app because I really want to have it!
There's no way to reset password in the app. It tells you to go to a URL that you can't even click on. You have to remember it and type it manually. I guess they don't want me to resubscribe very badly.

I want to keep the subscription but I can't to pay for something that doesn't allow me to play in minimized window. The app needs to be updated to work while doing other stuff on your phone like the other competitors otherwise it will continue to go downhill. I can't even stream on my samsung smart TV as it just continues to say update needed but there is no update. Called Samsung. They said there is no update from hallmark. Get better guys!
they can't get there tv app to work keeps logging out everytime me or my girlfriend plays a movie so I message them and gave them all the info about my tv and there app and they said they would look into it didn't hear anything for a few weeks so I emailed them back an was sent were sorry Hallmark and LG are not doing anymore updates so I wrote them saying my tv is made by Samsung not LG ang they just sent back oh sorry were still looking into it and trying to fix it

I have been trying to cancel this app and it won't let me.
FRUSTRATING! I really wish this app would get better. I never got the free trial. I called, they refuse to give it to me. After each episode you cannot go to the next episode or movie. You are stuck in an endless loop. You have to exit out of the app and go back in. I wish there was an area to find what movies are new. The purple highlight does nothing for you if you have already watched the movie. You should be able to put a checkmark on what you watched and or identify a favorite movie.
I can no longer use application on my cell phone. every time I attempt to log in it gives me an error message saying I have invalid credentials. I can use my application on the iPad and I can even log in using an Internet browser. but no matter what I do, it will not work on my phone!
The app is basically unusable and Hallmark knows it and won't fix it. Do not buy Hallmark+ expecting this to work.
