Unfortunately doesn't work well if partners mess it up.
scammed. I clicked on a 37.50 euro ticket, got to the final checkout page entered my card details to pay, clicked checkout, received a notification I was charged 52.50 euro. I contacted headout and they advised me that because of dynamic pricing the prices changed. However, I was already in the checkout and had selected the ticket for 37.50 euro not 52.50. If you are purchasing a ticket you won't really know how much you will pay because it can change in the checkout stage. Be careful.

Extremely disappointed with Headout. I purchased tickets through the app, but nowhere in the description did it mention that there would be a 2-hour wait after buying the ticket. This is a huge lack of transparency. I wasted a massive chunk of my day waiting around, which completely ruined the schedule of my trip. If I had known about the wait time, I would have booked elsewhere. Very upset with this experience and would not recommend it if you value your time.
What an absolutely sneaky company. Really read their really small letters, and do not count on their customer support. Or better yet, avoid and buy directly whichever services and tickets you need.
I bought SCAM priority tickets for St Peter's Basilica and they were never accepted but the priority queue. Moreover - The location shared by WhatsApp for the "meeting point" wasn't working (the Google maps API query was broken) - The tickets were not accepted as official - The URLs from the resources were AWS (hosting provider) which was so weird. As if it was a custom server made for the app, not as official app url. Turned out I was right. - No refund. Avoid the scammers.
One of the worst apps I have used, too many problems and very unreliable. Very disappointing app, it crashes again and again and wastes a lot of time.😍
SCAM? how can i spot the right guide in a square if the app gives no details? not even the name... ok probably not a scam, but the user experience terrible
Support from customer service and the service providers used are scammers.
What a scam. "Tickets" to attractions are promoted by Google, e.g. to the Clèrigos tower in Porto. The purchase process does not take you through the crucial info. After purchase, instead of receiving an e-ticket as one would expect, you are asked to physically access a "redemption point" to receive the ticket. Upon arrival it turns out that the "tickets" are in fact 25% discount cards. Once purchased, there is no "cancel" button. Instead, you can chat with a stupid bot forever. Money gone.
READ OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE USING. WISH WE HAD. This app and company is a gamble. UPDATE (4/22/2026): Changing my rating to one star and will be deleting the app. A booked tour never happened' the guide was a no-show, did not respond to multiple documented calls, and was not at the meeting point. The company STILL claimed the tour took place as scheduled, which did not match our experience. Customer service offered no meaningful explanation or resolution. I’d suggest using other services.
scammers. bought 2 tickets in Orlando Disney. beside fact that their tickets 50 more than from Disney directly, Disney couldn't find my names and I had to buy 2 new tickets. Called them same day and asked to refund money, provided screenshot of the new tickets. and unfortunately they charged me back. Never again.
Terrible, takes ages to load
Terrible. A sham. These are not 'fast pass' or 'skip the line tickets', they are the same tickets you can buy from the church for 1/3 the price. No one to meet you, poor instructions, nothing good. You will still wait in a line of 300-1000+ people. A waste of my day in Rome because of this. AVOID!
사기꾼들 never using them again. we bought express pass for USJ, turns out they gave our tickets to someone else. so they scammed another person or two (we had two passes). use Klook instead.
Not sure if the app, or the local tourist traps, but for me this was one of the worst experices I had. Experience was in Pompei.
as far as functionality and user experience goes, this may actually be the worst app I've ever used in my life. it would probably get an F on a first year compsci assignment. abysmal.
This app is definitely AI Bot. Look at those reply messages in this page. They can do instant but unprofessional replies (telling people to send personal details to the given link), which prove the insecure and non-guaranteeing payments. My friend tried to purchase the tickets through the app but the QR code wasn't working on the site. Contacted the AI bot, asked weird questions, then no resolution was made. Cheaper prices than other major travelling providers.
reading reviews, site seems a bit dodgy
BAD!! Dont use the app, i used it to get tikets for Rome-Panthenon and then when i got there they told me after 1h 30min of wait that i dont have a tiket. Belive me its faster to get a tiket waiting in line.
Invasive, sales pitches, annoying. Just wanted to buy tickets and have to download large app.
Adverts rank higher up than official site. bought via headout and ended up paying way more than the official while I was waiting in a queue. A pricey mistake.
Avoid this app and company if you value your vacation time and money. We wasted an hour today at the entrance to a place in Sintra, Portugal, trying to retrieve on my phone tickets we bought a few days ago. They were supposedly in PDF format, but all efforts to get them only produced a "Can't access PDF file" message. The girl at the entrance told me that every day she sees people having issues with Headout tickets. We couldn't get in, and now we'll never get our day back. Just infuriating!
THIS APP IS A CON. STEER CLEAR. They try to pretend they are selling you tickets but they are not always able to provide them and don't notify you as they are just a middle man and, of course, add commission. I ordered tickets travelled all the way to an event and was unable to enter with the confirmation sent by Head Out. 5 minutes after the event started, Head Out sent me a message that they actually hadn't been able to secure my booking. Call centre is also AI BOT

Worst app and PLEASE do not use. They're SCAMMER!! Got tickets for Frida Karlo museum in Mexico and tickets were not accepted! Connected with cs and they just kept sending me the wrong tickets. They will never refund your money or accept their mistakes. Total bs please do not use. I should've read other reviews. Don't fall for 5 star reviews. Once they take your money, they refuse to refund! SCAM. Wish I could give you negative star.

Since I am in a foreign country, access to internet is only near a wifi hot spot. $150 thrown away since it has been over 24 hours and no decision to refund my money. Fast money since I didn't get tickets so they didn't have to use any that I paid for.
They changed our ticket time without having our confirmation so we had to wait more. When I had a problem and needed to postpone the entry because I lost a bus they said they can't change the time. They don't care about the customer and only do as they want.
When your bookings are issue free, Headout is good. When your booking is cancelled, they are the last one to inform you and you had to provide tons of proofs to justify that it is there vendor that had cancelled. If it is for non-US and you don't speak that language, it will be a nightmare. If the vendor overbook their tour, it will take an act of God for Headout to refund. Their reviews hid all 1 & 2 stars feedback as I couldn't find my bad review after I submitted it. Use GetYourGuide.
