Latest upgrade won't allow app to open after upgrade completes. App continues to display an 'Upgrade' button after Open is selected.

And yes I already wrote to help and the reply was useless. Will not renew if not fixed. I gave it 5* once, slowly down now to 1*, as low as possible.
I opened the app and it told me to upgrade. Having completed the upgrade, the app will now not open, and says I still need to upgrade, despite already doing so. I can now no longer use the app. it was working great until this upgrade.
I just updated the app, closed out, opened it again and it still says I need to uldate!! please fix!!! I use this everyday! I use this every day. I gave them only the 4 stars cuz I think they should have more teachers grow more! ❤️ there's always room for improvement! I love the headspace radio with Robin and one of the mindfullness teachers, where they discuss listener questions! I wish they would have those more often as well!!! like a podcast!!! 😀 just a suggestion!! I love headspace!!!
downloaded the latest version of the app. but now it is stuck in a loop. i open the new app it tells me yo download the latest version, takes me the store, i alreadu downloaded and installed and it just says open. i open the app and it tells me to download the latest version and takes me to the store... and on and on and on. i have reset etc. makes no difference. i cant use app anymore like this. android galaxy s21
Just updated to the shiny new version and now it doesnt work on a phone or tablet. not good.
quality just keeps going down. I have been a member for few years now and its really sad to see that with every upgrade it just detoriates. i miss the headspace as it used to be earlier. i am here now only for Andy's meditations. today i upgraded the app, but it still keeps showing the prompt to upgrade to new version. won't allow me to do my meditation 😩
Extremely slow at start-up. Forces to update and would but work. Downloaded things would not work on the airplane. You got a tons of work to do guys to improove those bad ratings. There is a reason for them. And just I was worse to update the app after an update would not launch forcing me to go and updAte. As I already did. So easy deserved one star.
with the latest update, no meditation is possible as when the meditation begins, it immediately crashes. I've used it for years but of late the app crashes even before a session begins. it has become useless as I cannot use any module
it forced an update by putting up a screen with a button to their app page. But after updating it's still just displaying the screen saying you need to update.
The update is no longer allowing the app to open.
I cannot open the app since I did the update. Now I have to figure out how to cancel my subscription.
Don't bother with this buggy and AI voiced fake wellness app. It's about as nakedly as a business as you'll get, with sketchy billing practices.
so still glitchy still turns off now turns itself back on after my alarm goes off,,, making it hard for me to wake up. And where the hell did the option for the 45-minute ones go!? I do not need 8 hours of sound all of the time I take naps on occasion and I like to wake up from said naps when my alarm goes off because the sound stopped.

The Android back button doesn't work with this app. also, I started a basic series of multiple meditations, and now they are nowhere to be seen. they're not in my history, they're not in recently viewed, I can't find them anywhere. for someone new to meditation, this app is confusing AF
the app keeps on logging me out and when I try to sign in, it says there is an error. so frustrating.

Used to be a great app. it now features AI slop. wonderful example of ensh*ttification.
This app was, once upon a time, very nice. The user interface is now terrible, and a lot of the lead voices are, frankly, not fit for meditation. Subjective preference. Sadly it's also been subject to ideological capture, which doesnt really lend itself to meditation. Previously this was 5 stars for me, but, just the UI on its own has turned it into a horrible app.
between how frequently it logs you out and the amount of private data it shares with 3rd parties, despite you paying for the service: not worth it.
Nothing for the unpaid version, after looking for 5 minutes I finally found something I didn't have to pay for: a 4 minute video for brushing your teeth.

5 years back, this app was 5 stars. To start, customer service is reduced to ineffective AI chat bots which send you in loops and ignore pleads to speak to a human. App is bloated with unnecessary features, often freezing/glitching. In attempts to 'modernize' app, the simple clean UI was replaced with displeasing chaos induced clutter. Also what's the point of a streak count when everytime the app glitches or loses connection, it resets. Devs forgot their core audience. New doesn't equal better
I tried Headspace mainly for Ebb, the chatbot feature. It is marketed as being designed with expert input, but my experience was disappointing. It mostly asked repeated follow-up questions, and when I asked it to stop, it switched to generic acknowledgments like "I can see how that is difficult," without adding useful insight. I am not opposed to chatbot tools, but Ebb felt underdeveloped and did not meet expectations set by its description.

synching with vitality has not worked since October 25 with Fit; also same issue with Health Connect
I cant even try a sample technique without the app forcing you to pay for a trial.

I cant be forced to subscribe without even know what's inside. this 7 days free then subscribe doesn't work for me. deleted the app in less than a minute.
No free options anymore, used to be amazing
have had issues cancelling my subscription. they've also added loads of gimmicks over the years to try and keep you on the app (videos, shorts etc.) which is ridiculously crass for a mindfulness app.
they pretend to have a chat support but only a AI with no I. only email support and I can't get any help. there privacy is also misleading as accounts still linked even though you only have to turn off setting to unlink which is clearly not true.
last update: deleted all my downloads, when I try to redownload the app keeps crashing. if I try to open the app, it takes about ten attempts. please fix this.
The app promised a free trial, but I got charged when trying it out via Google Sotre. There is no human support so the AI chatbot keeps regurgitating useless information about how to theoretically get a refund via Google (that Google denied).
YOU DON'T NEED MY INFO UNLESS YOU'RE SELLING IT! Don't lie and say you do because a ton of free sleep apps never ask for it and you're a liar if you say otherwise.

Will Not Load Anymore - For a meditation app, I struggle to understand why this app works this poorly. I still have to take daily screenshots of my progress. The app also randomly stops, - without warning. Now, all that shows is a error and to try again. What a disappointment.
this has got to be one of the worst apps ever. constantly logs you out, fails to open, or says "something went wrong". very frustrating to use. not sure how they can put out this garbage

Recently, this app is one of the worst I've used. The Care button is sometimes missing completely from the menu. Member Support Chat is sometimes missing. Multiple notifications for the same chat message. Update: It's been two years and the App still sucks. Worse, the Customer Service is impossible to get on the phone, and Headspace habitually screws up Billing with Insurance. I'm going to download Calm App just to destress from everything caused by Headspace.
