Installed only to give one star review because I seriously do not want to get hello fresh junk mail for the rest of my life. Multiple years since I canceled, I've moved twice, and I've tried a few methods of asking to stop notifications, emails, and mail. Please stop. (Also the service isn't worth the money, plastic waste, filling up trash/recycling bins, or ghg emissions from shipping)

I signed up and cancelled within an hour. I think their recipes are not bad but not suitable for me. One star because even though I cancelled promptly they still insisted on charging me and sending me a bunch of food I didn't want. It's scummy behavior. Avoid this company, they are happy to trick you out of your money if they think they can get away with it using weaselly excuses and terms of service.
For awhile, I enjoyed it. The recipes have been delicious. However, over the past two months the service and quality have gone down hill. One box arrived 5 days late, and the one this week arrived a day later than they said. I got one recipe card that had typos on it. Now I forgot to cancel this week's order and I called as soon as I realized. They refused to cancel the box but let me change the recipes which makes no sense. Sadly, this will be my last box because of the poor service.

first of all they didnt use my promo, then they overcharged me, so I canceled my account but they said they couldn't cancel the order so I was like oh well. I paid for it so ill get it. nope. my order was never delivered. here's to hoping I actually get my refund.
I need the order invoice every week but their "Send Invoice" button doesn't work in app or on the web. I've had to call customer service *every week* for the last four weeks so they will send me my order invoice. There's no way to opt-in to auto-deliver invoices via email. Every week customer service says they 'put in a request' to fix this but week after week this remains broken. One rep, Joan, lied and told me that invoices aren't supported anymore, while others say it's a technical issue.

maybe the food is good and the cooking steps are clear and straight forward but the process is not. I subscribed to the add saying that they need people to test 5 free boxes (add on Facebook) so I sent my name and received a call after few days saying that I am alligible to only 35 % discount for 5 or 6 orders of three meals each and it will cost me only 89 cad per order so I accepted thought I try something new but for the second order I was charged 100 delivery fees so I canceled the account
disgusting app and company
Tired of rotten rood and terrible delivery so decided to delete my account. Customer service refuses that I deleted it so I kept receiving demands to pay for a box I didn't even order (they sent me it automatically). They will get your money for extremely cheap meals with rotten ingredients. Customer service will never react and keep blaming you. This service is a scam and I am begging you to stay away from it.

Shipped to the wrong address. I called, explained they shipped to an old address, not the address I entered for billing and shipping. They refused to refund, credit, reship, so I cancelled. They fought the credit card dispute and kept the money then tried to bill me $85.xx for another week after cancellation. I was told I would receive a refund but instead I am being invoiced daily for that amount. $120.00 and I have received NOTHING. BUYER BEWARE
while the food is good and the deliveries are timely. they use dark patterns in app so as to make it very hard to unsubscribe from their plan. they use this pattern to keep on their plan and get more money. its a very scammy practice.
directly after downloading it wanted to update to another version
No way to contact customer service. The number on their site is unrecognised. Tried contacting them through the app, but it doesn't recognise me as a regular customer - wants me to sign up for an account!?? Last week I didn't want a delivery, but I was unable to log onto the app to cancel. They sent me 3 meals of their choosing, but no recipe cards! The veg were of a poor quality. I was happy with the service until recently.

Former 5 star reviewer. The app will not let me continue until I do an update. There is no update available so I hit open to continue using the app. The same message saying I need to update the app pops up. There is no update available. It's an endless loop of not updating or having the ability to use the app. I've restarted my phone, uninstalled and downloaded the app again, nothing works.

despite having the most recent version of this app, every time I try to open it it tells me there is a new version available and I need to update and it won't let me open the app until I update it, but there's no update available because I have the most recent version. I even tried uninstalling the app and downloading it again and it still didn't work. it's an endless loop of opening it, being told to update, being sent to the play store, clicking open and then starting all over again. useless.

needs a dark mode the bright white screen is painfully bright for people who work third shift in dark environments and are light sensitive, also this app has no way to suspend account till budget can afford to resume only skipping a week or two then forgetting can cause one to deplete and overdraft account soo this is not user friendly 🤔.....

Why can't I browse all recipes or search by keywords? I should by able to type and search "shepherd's pie," for example, in the app to find the recipe. Why are you now defaulting to all 3 meals being pork? 4 weeks in a row, I've had to change the meals to prevent me from getting all 3 pork dishes. Why do I always have to sign back into this app? Every time I click on it. How are you pushing "your meals are ready" if I'm not signed in? Your chicken smells really terrible.. . .. ... . . ... ..

This is The Most Expensive food service I have ever tried. And their menu doesn't support an average American family. It's Way to High Brow for us. We couldn't eat most of what they sent. I wasted $hundred+ hard earned money just to try out. It's NOT worth it, don't waste your Dollars like I did. Don't just walk away, RUN away to save your nerves and everything else.
I have tried to cancel many times and they still keep sending them it's annoying I am so done .Please Stop
