Before I uninstall this thing, please tell me why your app does not recognize my Samsung TTS. Its clearly enabled with no restrictions, but your app tells me I have no such TTS and I need to download one. I wont use this without voice guidance. And this app calculated my route using a private road, locked and guarded. 5 mile trip became 9.
App does not work offline at all. Will sometimes try to kill you.
I don't trust this app any more. It used to be an excellent alternative to Waze but location/guidance isn't accurate any more. It sent me round in a big 45 minute circle in Germany recently. I can't rely on HWG if it's suddenly going to spin out.
This app needs to be updated everyday 😭

auto rotate doesn't always work. google maps works fine.
2026 update. Tried again. Very unstable, location keeps freezing in random places. Even reboot doesn't help. Works occasionally. Why do they do upgrades? It worked perfectly for years! Millions of happy users! And somehow they decided to up(down)grate...? MINUS 5 STARS!!!
Wouldn't recognize TTS on Samsung, so wouldn't speak directions, making it useless as a GPS.
Continues to direct the arrival at back of the house, not in front. I tried every setting, still does not work. please fix
Wasted 2 days trying to get this app to do anything. Completely dysfunctional and totally unusable, won't even download any maps. And all this on a new tablet reset to factory defaults with android updates applied. Hopeless. 0/5. [edit] Installed Map factor Navigator instead - downloads maps ok & works just fine..
Treats human contributors like they're garbage in favor of AI slop data. Really dumb move on their part. You know it's crazy when OSM data outperforms Here by leaps and bounds.
it doesn't work. you put notes in on computer but then you cant see them on phone. then spend notes to name and it goes haywire and changes the name completely. sux.
We are currently unable to update or delete the maps.
The voices, all have in common rough sounding, it's not my device as others GPS apps voices are excellent. please add ability to add users voices or device internal TTS voices as dedpute claim we use phone TTS the voice from my phone all voices are different at all from the app voices!
really trying to find something other than Google maps. Unfortunately this app routinely changes your route after you make your route selection without telling you that it's choosing a different route. So you might know you need to avoid a certain area & then the app will change your choice & route you through the area you were trying to avoid. no warning, no option to decline, just changing your route & making your drive WORSE! I'd rate 3 or 4 stars if I didn't find that "feature" unforgivable.
Road names are inaccurate and my neighbor shows as my house number. Sent in multiple requests to fix over the last 6 months because services that utilize their map can't find the street or get lost. Never got a response or fix.
Unable to finish install because buttons are outside screen.
This app ruitinely gives confusing or incorrect directions. The speed limits are often wrong. Unfortunately I don't really have a choice and have to use this app, but if you have a choice, stear clear.

It is the year of our Lord 2026 and this app on Android auto still has a top down view and Does Not Orient the Map based on direction of travel. This used to be The Maps app to go to. Now it's just disappointing. DEV Team what are you doing ?
Kein Fahrspuren Assistent, oder Blitzer Ansage. Viele Orte die seit Jahren geschlossen oder umgezogen sind
Grand fan de l'application du temps de Nokia, je ne peux que déplorer la dégradation des fonctionnalités, par exemple la localisation ne fonctionne quasiment jamais, pourtant Google Maps ou autres applications sont parfaitement capables de trouver où je suis. Ça enlève l'utilité principale du truc...
It only usses internal tts, so if you own an Chineese phone, I wish you good luck... In portait mode, you get map covered with the inforamations one would rather hide to see the route beter, but you just can't. Speed limit warning is a wery usefull tool if one could actually set the limit tolerance and not having it annoy every 2sec. The guidance was however way more reliable as at Syngic. It's just these little thinks nobody seems to grasp up to date at Here WeGo.
Not bad at all, but when not supported in Car Android, it's not really usable on a daily basis. Many cars today are using android, so this kind of apps could be perfect companions, but... ANSWER to reply: I'm not asking for Android Auto, because that is lame and extremely annoying to use, bit for plain support for android automotive! I have Android multimedia in my car and your app, unlike Waze or Google maps, isn't available in the Play store in my car. Do you understand now?
Response 1: None of those are the cause, they have been dealt with. The issue is as described below. While this app is better than Google maps for Navigation, which sucks, it has one glaring issue. The location of your vehicle while traveling is offset by a couple seconds or 25 to 50 feet however you want to measure it. In towns this causes constant missed turns. Why can't it accurately display your vehicle location?
I can't really recommend this app right now. I got directions to go through streets I wasn't allowed to go through or couldn't go through at least 3 times in the last month.
this app is garbage. horrible trying to add a stop. don't waste your time.
