great anime selection but the app sucks and to do anything, like you have to change anything like audio or subtitles, has to be done on the site and it is an pain to find because its hardly ever there. so if you are a true anime fan that continues in sub than you might want to double think about getting this app. on my TV, you can do anything but watch, no changing languages or adding to a watch list
I don't ever recall using or installing this. So it can't be great.
Terrible experience, crashes, doesn't load, no refund available. Last anime been trying to load for 20 minutes. Save your money and go for something like crunchy roll

I don't speak Japanese.I have to have subtitles to be able to watch the fact that they refusing to put subtitles on videos and saying they're charging you a subscription to be able to watch it, I've already canceled my subscription.I want my money back

the worst streaming app I've ever used if I didn't dislike pirating anime I would cancel subscription and delete immediately they are lucky I can't watch some of these titles on crunchyroll

wanted to watch call of the night to find out it's behind a paywall. absolute garbage. I only downloaded this app to watch call of the night, not to pay NINE DOLLARS PLUS TAX FOR AN EXCLUSIVE! I would give 0 stars if possible. Absolutely garbage on this stupid company's part.
For a paid service, this is trash. Removing good shows while they provide less than cr. Even cr removes shows, but hd is only hanging on for what they provide, which is less and less by the day. Terrible service and very few shows, that will be removed shortly.

Have had issues months ago with having paid for the subscription and having all content locked. Got Customer Service to refund for the month affected. Now I can't get ANY content to load in the app after coming back to catch up on shows. Ugh these guys are really bad with there service. Shows are good but the customer service is bad.
Couldn't set a zero star rating. "Good selection" IF the app will show the titles. It does not save the shows in any form of convenient locations, and the app on Xbox is even more atrocious. The app's interface is arcaic at this point. (In other words just has never been improved) The only "Good selections" are shows that they primarily contractually are the only ones allowed to stream it for a period of time. That stops better streaming services from showing said shows.
full pay for app that limits you to two devices no go
just resubscribed thru Google play and both the app and the website have all new titles locked and saying I need to choose a plan when I do it says error you are already subscribed but won't let me watch any of the new anime. So I have cancelled my subscription and will be removing the app from my phone after the month I just paid for has ended
Have to log back in all the dam time, and the release system is BS, when it says an episode is being released today but its still not available at 11pm then its not being released today. get it together

Downloaded TV app and went through the hassle of signing up etc etc - only to be hit with "No content available" on absolutely every tab. I've reinstalled, signed in using email instead of QR, have no VPNs running on my TV in the first place, etc - total waste of time.
Had a decent selection of anime. Alot of bugs and customer service/support was zero help.
Every time the app updates you have to re-sign-in across every device. When it is 4:00 p.m. and your episode says it's releasing TODAY with a timer saying it will start in 13 hours, figure it out people that's not today that's TOMORROW!

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the app. I have cleared the cache, and even tried to log out/in. The app doesnt even let me log out. All I get is no content and error messages from the app. Why am I being charged a subscription that is not providing any content? This is extremely unprofessional and atrocious.
After I resubscribed I opened the app and got a blank black screen. I uninstalled and reinstalled it for the same thing. Not sure why the app is not working but I hope they fix it since I assume most of their clients use their phones to watch the videos.
This app is worse then the free ones no range of options and all the basic content you can get anywhere.

For an app u have to pay for it really does sucks. The watch list feature is useless. It only saves about 8 different series then just keeps repeating them over an over. The history on continue watching is never accurate. I'm seriously thinking about losing it. Do better.
you only get one or 2 good simulcast a season and your app is one of the most actively user aggressive on the market. after last update it won't even load anymore. please let crunchyroll buy you. Update, please stop being a company. You are not good at it. Please sell to Crunchyroll. your app full crashes every week and is unusable. If anyone at the company exists and is reading this, your app team is absolutely terrible. Fire them.

They double billed me on Android and Apple. Dumbest setup ever. How do you recognize the subscription is active on the same account and still bill on another device?! They wouldn't even help me with the refund process the first time. I had to keep chatting with them to get help. I ended up having my card cancelled unnecessarily by the bank, trying to get everything corrected. Stick with Crunchyroll or another service. HiDive's interface sucks. I wish I could give it zero or negative stars.

I had high hopes until the videos randomly cut off and then I'm back on the home page. My favorite is when I turn the subtitles off and they randomly appear half way through the episodes. I highly recommend against trying to watch it on the tv it's not even worth trying.
The app is garbage and hard to use. The constantly crashes or spins infinitely and does not respond.
It's completely broken. Shows "No content available" on the home, browse, and watchlist screens. Tapping the search button causes the app to go into a crash loop and the only way to stop it is to close the app and reopen it. The left side panel shows "Profiles" but no profiles, a logout button that restarts the app, and the app version. The app was working before (albeit on older devices). I'm not sure what happened other than they just haven't updated it to support newer Android versions.

I hate that they have some decent series I have to keep coming back for every once in a while. The platform and app were terrible years ago and it's still awful today. I would pay twice their sub fee if they would just put together a remotely decent user experience.

when I opened the app there was literally nothing there. No chance to login, no anime to watch, nothing.
number of animes is limited not very many to begin with and the few that are on the app you go to try to watch them You get about three or four episodes in and it erases all of your history including your list I don't know why I pay for something that I can't even use
The service is just not worth it. They lose more shows than they add despite having licenses to sell the physical media. I canceled my service because they can't keep streaming licenses.
