Terrible support (either AI or someone who doesn't care or know what to do). No top up option via app.
I'm disappointed, ordered sim. paid required amount found out that my mobile phone don't suits for that service. no Internet and I'm abroad. followed all guidelines what they send it still didn't work. requested refund. again same procedure - no results. they accepted that I deserve refund. waited 1.5month (but it says in 15 days) and still nothing. emailed them. again same procedure- do that do that. I get fed enough. So no refund, money loss, no interenet as well.

it doesn't even allow you to pick a 30-day sim on the app. The chat box is of no help. I give up. definitely not user friendly.
Terrible. The data will randomly drop/lose all connection pretty often. The speed doesn't seem very fast for full bars 4g or 5g, I could be waiting 5 minutes for a page to load. After making my purchase I have never been able to login to the app. It "sends" a confirmation code to my email but I never recieve it. All in all its been a terrible experience.
The Unlimited Data plan for Europe was patchy and awful. I struggled to even get a connection at times in metropolitan areas like Paris and Rome. Given the internet was my main form of communication I truly felt stranded at times. Secondly, upload speeds were awful at all times and my wife was unable to upload even small files to Google Drive.

Bad sims: they always force you to data-roam through some weak connection. their price is high. a friend introduced me to several other apps that offer such sims and they were all better, cheaper and actually gave a sim native to the location.
Disgraceful service. After reporting a known network issue in Italy (admitted by 'Esteban'), they offered a refund but immediately terminated my and my wife’s eSIMs without warning while we were in the middle of a foreign city. Left stranded with no navigation or emergency contact. They then cycled through 7+ AI bots (Liz, Emma, Roger, Ronald) who gave scripted 'empathy' but zero help. Dangerous business practice for travelers. Avoid at all costs.

Very disappointed with Holafly eSIM service in China. The signal is unstable - one day it works, the next day there is no connection at all. I followed all setup instructions but the issue continued. Support refused compensation for the unused time despite unreliable service. Not recommended.

I have NEVER had such a horrible e-sim!! I paid for 7 days. I received SEVEN SEPERATE emails, eventually had to load 7 separate e-sims to my pixel. I never received instructions for how to manage the change to the next e-sim; my phone said I was connected, but I had no service. The AI "help" was useless; just kept sending me complex instructions which did not address the actual problem. Asking for human help was never fulfilled. Without gps, I got lost & had to use my home roaming. Wasted €$!!🤮
Buying and installing the esim is easy enough. however, I was quoted in Canadian dollars and charged more. I got transferred between customer service agents and chat bots in circles and circles and no one is understanding my situation. If you choose to use HolaFly, and there is a payment mistake, then be prepared for zero help from their customer service.
The worst esim app ever!! Totally uninstallable. I cannot recommend it to anyone.
troublesome payment process
Bought a test Sim for a day before trusting this app. Glad I did because it doesn't work. First Sim didn't had internet, second Sim had a 0.00001mb connection. Didn't load anything. Spent 2+ h with the support team for nothing. Find some other app, this one is awful

Tried it in South Africa and its not working at all as promised. No 5G just H+ at best with an internet speed so slow that its basically unusable.

the Sim does not work and the customer Service is a buggy AI that takes ages: why do companies do not understand that this AI trend is heavily impacting them, for the worse? Really really frustrating experience.

Terrible buy. I purchased a global unlimited plan and it didn't work in USA and in Colombia either. Besides, they don't want to honor my request for reimbursement for something that DOESN'T WORK. Not recommended.
The "unlimited" internet is unlited because it works in very few places. For South Africa choose something else. I was in Johannesburg and Cape town and the internet was terrible. So the email to their address was a total waste of time. No response for 5 days now. Use a different eSim provider.
Compré un eSIM datos ilimitados para Europa por 11 días. La pág. prometía ser mejor que Airalo, con cobertura 3G y 5G, solo he tenido LTE. En cuanto llegué a mi destino y activé la eSIM se forzó el reinicio de mi móvil, proceso que borró apps necesarias para el funcionamiento al regresar a casa. En tres ocasiones sin motivo aparente, perdí total conectivid a internet, lo que imposibilitó la navegación de mapas o solicitar ayuda en la app. Pésima cobertura y servicio. Compre Airalo no tire su $$
Dont waste your money. I'm halfway through a month long plan for my work trip to the US, it has only worked 2 of those days. the app just says "sorry we're having internal problems" and I've tried multiple times to reach support through the chat, which only opens when on wifi, but no one ever answers.
Do not use this service. I downloaded the app and bought the NZ unlimited data esim prior to arriving to the country. I have used esims before and are aware of how to troubleshoot and use them. When I arrived in NZ, the e sim refused to work. Fine. I contact the '24-hour assitance' that they heavily advertise. I was then connected to an AI chat bot who I spoke with for about 1.5 hours running around in circles. I eventually got a refund and used Simify instead. Simify's e sim worked instantly.

unfortunately in Vietnam ni have intermittent( like 1 minute with internet and 30 + min nothing) service and when I send email from a local service device I got a reply after 10 minutes telling me that the intermittent service is because of the local authorities to avoid overloading of the network(a stupid explanation)and after midnight will work normaly.The service continue to be intermittent to no service. I try to unsubscrib and cancel the service and no option to do that on the Holafly site.
dont use this company they will try to scam you in different ways. sure the customer service replies are very nice with emojis but they will try too fool you.

I downloaded, I got charged double for a service that never worked nor could have help at the customer service. Bad experience never Will wanted to deal with something like this ever again.
I wish I could rate it even lower. The AI customer service agents repeatedly try to gaslight you that core functions of the app are glitches and you shouldn't worry about it.
I had purchased a 1 day unlimited plan but it was not at all working .I do not recommend. its just waste of money.
Worst esim I've used. I tried to use Holafly in Antigua, and it kept disconnecting. I had to repeatedly go through steps to select one network, delete all Bluetooth and Wi-Fi settings on my phone, restart, toggle more unrelated phone settings, and then maybe it would connect for an hour. The standard error state shows bars of signal, and then an exclamation point over it. I had to turn on Verizon, which costs $12 per day, because I desperately needed access to the Internet.
This is THE WORST service. Do not use them. I purchased an e-SIM and it was incompatible with my phone plan, not my phone. It took me almost an hour in a chat with two different people to process my refund. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced from any company ever. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use Holafly. It is absolute garbage.

Price is reasonable when compared to other eSims. Unfortunately, the coverage was aweful in the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana. Frequent cuts and when you do have service, the speed was very slow dispite being LTE/4G. Would not recommend.
Visited Florida, US. Holafly was completely useless. No coverage and no data transmitted whenever there was a rare connection. Wasted money.
