This app is extremely hard to navigate. The descriptions on the properties are vague at best, whilst they list all amenities in great detail, there is nowhere on the property description of how many pets you can have. Hence once you book you can contact the property provider and have a discussion with them. Be aware even if you cancel the booking within hours of making it you will only receive 1/2 of your deposit back. Yes I'm ticked now out of pocket for nearly $400 and have to find another

Booking confirmed stay 6 days ahead. Host cancels morning of check-in with no warning, total chaos finding expensive last-minute alternative. Refund eventually, but zero help for extra costs and stress. Emailed support with no reply at all. Stayz is a joke and support is non existant. Never again. Avoid this app!
when trying to update email your app says something went wrong on your end. I can't access a message from The owner as it when I click it says I don't have a booking.

Can't change the currency
impossible to change the device of travel it's defined automatically in NZL
coming from German site fewo-direkt.de Prices only shown in NZ with no option to change. This is an issue since at least 1-2 years. please FIX IT.

My currency is set to $NZ and can't change it. Totally puts me off using this app. Really useless.
Absolutely horrible organisation avoid at all costs. We booked 7months in advance host went missing 3months out. Was advised to cancel & book something else, however due to the event we were attending no reasonable options available. Stayz wouldn't honour their guarantee to assist because I notified them before the end of the full refund period. They suggested other options that weren't available, weren't near the event, weren't suitable for 4mates traveling together or cost 4 X more 🤦

During peak busy periods hosts have cancelled on myself and friends many times so they can rebook for a higher fee. There is no way to report them or complain.
gives prices in NZ dollars. I live in Germany, we don't use NZ dollars because Germany is in Europe and use the Euro!!!!
It is not possible to change the language of the UI and the currency (NZ$ is default). If such fundamentals are not working, what happens while booking?

Absolutely impossible to share accommodation pages with others. The share page + link on both app and website just takes you to the page to download the app even when someone already has the app, opens the app and doesn't take you to the accommodation page that was sent. Painful.
I just installed the app and the currency is,wrong and I am unable to check my message from guest! Where are the messages and how do I contact a living person?

The cancellation policy can mean that your entire full payment can be forfeited even months before. 🙄 I prefer to use other sites that allow cancellation till just days before. 👍 😝
