cash out never work this app sucks
I can't use this app anymore because it's been upgraded to Android 12. Kind of useless now.
super buggy app. was grate for the first year and a half i needed to use it. then i stopped getting team messages not knowing i wasnt getting them. had to update the app and lost text message notifications. and since that update almost every month it wont let me log in and i need to delete the app and re-download
I'm here to write another review this has to be the most crooked app on here I've been stuck in a constant cash repayment loop because you guys take my money EVERY SINGLE TIME and now I'm about to be evicted and I'm trying to save my rent and NOW YOU GUYS SAY MY BANK IS INELIGIBLE FOR DEPOSIT?! what kind of app says that you need 8 days of transactions to have it eligible to get your money back? Honestly don't waste time with this app the customer support sucks and they mess with your funds

This is an awful app. Yes, it hangs up. Yes, it has issues opening. Yes, their support is AI and is WORTHLESS. I cannot stress that part enough. Functionality... all sorts of issues. Additionally, why do employers use an app that preys on their employees?! This app estimates your running income and attempts to entice employees into taking out weekly loans. I have several coworkers stupid enough to have gotten wrapped up in this and now chase their repayment obligations. BEWARE!
This has been a horrible experience, their customer service is awful. They have continually failed to resolve issues to pay our state unemployment contributions. I've been sending them all the notices I get from the state for the last 6 months and it continues to be an issue. Furthermore their scheduling UI is slow and clumsy. Even if you set default roles, it doesn't apply them. It randomly seems to switch from AM to PM, so be careful you're not putting people on 14 hour shifts!

garbage app. unable to sync my hours from work to the app. also the support is just a robot with very little information.
couldn't sign in to the app then find out that it's suddenly not compatible with my phone. no warning sent to my account no explanation why it's no longer compatible, just can't use the app anymore.
Terrible app. They purposefully make their website not work so you have to use the app. You shouldn't need my location to clock me in and out. Businesses shouldn't make their employees need an app on their personal device in the first place.

EDIT - support has no idea how to help. I cannot login on the web or on the app. when I try on the website its like my account doesn't exist. I've sent every peice of evidence and done everything I could. I think their recent update made the app incompatible with certain phones but mine is uptodate... -- I was in the middle of cashing out, but all of a sudden, the app logged me out. I figure it needed to be updated, only to discover it's no longer compatible with my phone. need immediate help
This app is a fortress, it's so bad that their OWN AI system can't properly navigate it. When I have technical issues with Homebase, I'm navigated back and forth from the app to the online platform. Spoiler! Neither worked to find a solution to my problem, which I highly doubt I am alone in. As an employee, you cannot receive assistance from a live supervisor you are stuck with an AI system that cannot and will not fix any technical issues you run into, and you will run into a lot.
this app is no good and I can't even put my bank on here this is the worst app it's sorry it's trash
this app sucks I can't pull up and the schedule for any day I want my old home-based version back it appears there is several negative reviews of this app.That should tell you something.We need our app to work for our job to know what our schedule is to know our payroll to know all of it.This version is horrible.Please correct the mistakes.It is frustrating not being able to pull up my schedule and see when I work for the next few days or in the next week.
Cannot create an account do to phone number or email. Waste of time.
I get notifications when the settings are off. I get notifications, multiple at a time, that I didn't clock in even though I'm not scheduled to work. The help I got within the app didn't work, and I never got a response from the development team. Very happy we stopped using this and I can just take it off my phone.

You lose access to pay stubs from former positions when you leave those positions This app is completely useless and it's interface is garbage.
They take your money when you use cash out. If you get $300 advance from your check they will only if you back $150 of it.
I've been trying to view my pay stub but my version of this app doesn't display it for me. in Google search it explains how to view my pay stubs, BUT it's not viewable. it does not display, as if it jas been removed from the app itself.

the free advanced cash out is always unavailable so they can make their $5 off of all of our paychecks. nasty work in a tough economy.
i have a serious issue with the gps, for one i cannot see where it clocks me in at, 2 it has no within 50 ft margin, the app has me clocked in in an area i never go, so watch outyour empmoyer could be getting faulty info back. i have video of me at work clocking in when your app says i was 1/2 mile away.

Constantly kicks me out , when I try to login it just says something went wrong, try again later. I try again later a million times. I uninstall and install it. I cant access work schedules or memos. I can't login to even talk to support.
when I open the timesheet for today's date, an error message keeps popping it up. it has been like this for over a week now and I have restarted the phone. if I want to check any other day it is fine and I can see the schedule; restarted the app, did a force stop on the app; cleared the cache. Uninstaller and reinstalled...still not working.
decided I cannot log in on my phone anymore! Just gives an error message and tells me my password (and retrieval codes!) are incorrect
Using Homebase for my business was a good experience - while I was open. The problems started when I closed my business. I immediately tried to close out my account. This began months of unclear fees and many visits with support that so far has only resulted in Homebase collecting more money with no willingness to refund. We'll see next billing cycle. Just be very aware of the difficulty and expense closing with Homebase. UPDATE: March 2026 - month 3 of continued billing after closing! Beware!

Why no dark mode? Practically zero customization of anything outside of what notifications you want to see. Turned off all notifications because the settings for them never actually worked. Never used the Messages feature, so I'm not sure about that.
Works pretty good for scheduling but since my company changed pay programs and set my payday to another day, I'm not allowed to cash out and my cash advance was paid. They don't have a way to tell you a timeframe nor manually fix it which isn't convenient for people who need a little bit of their paycheck before payday.
It Stop letting me in Since January and it talks about MFA or my phone number doesn't work.

what recent changes were made to the program that caused my phone to be no longer supported? Outgoing Messaging attempts bring up error screens, and I no longer receive shift coverage requests. I understand that updates are a part of a maintenance regime, but having to constantly purchase new phones is ridiculous. If you can, please respond with a suggestion for a phone that will last thru at least the next two years, or what is currently causing Moto G / E to no longer be supported.
