This app continues to get buggier and less responsive and makes me consider swapping my washing machine and tumble dryer for other manufacturers.

I believe things worked ok and fairly fast before the last major make of the app, but for the last 2 years it's been a struggle and a pain for me to use at all.
Update May 2026, this app is still not functional, it's unbelievable they have not fixed anything. It's mind-blowing how bad this app is! The concept is amazing but it runs so poorly, slow, freezes all the time, doesn't start the programmes you choose and unfortunately it's quite annoying to use. Doesn't show the progress correctly either.
so the experience I am having with the app is too many eco pop-ups when trying to do the washing machine H-500 it doesn't display the full wash cycle. on the dishwasher 700 when going to see the wash cycles the screen goes white. when trying to select a program it doesn't display all of them just the one at the top. I have cleared the cash I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it is still the same I am finding that the app is slow and sluggish on two different phones Sam S20 & Google 10

By a long way the poorest functioning all that I have used. Unreliable in every way. Problems connecting, problems functioning, freezing. Washing machine is great, app is terrible.
I don't want to give you permission to my location, no matter how often you ask for it.

has always been slow to use, but at least it used to work ok. However as of a few months now it's been impossible to schedule a wash or dry in advance, which is the only reason I bothered to pay extra for a WiFi enabled washer/dryer. I reported this bug a long time ago and it's still not fixed...

It's as bad as the washing machine we got.
Once again randomly the washing machine is not getting detected. It shows "on remote control" but the application is showing it as offline. The instability of your app really amazes me, questioning the quality of your developers. Can you make your app stable? 3 years full of random issues...

Laggy, slow and full of bugs.
Edit: Genuinely the worst app I've ever used. The latest update makes any dishwasher programmes disappear before you can select them. Emailed support over two weeks ago and no reply. Pathetic customer service that's as bad as this clunky, awful, useless app.
Slow as hell and half of the time doesn't connect to anything
Lento e problemático. Não permite registar equipamentos por falta de "instruções" para o registo. Troca labels e números de série de equipamentos já registados, obriga a desligar o quadro para adicionar um novo equipamento e não o encontra facilmente, é preciso tentar repetidamente. Após o erro sugere a abertura de ticket e permite submeter o pedido de ajuda, mas também falha o envio da mensagem. Update: após a resposta do suporte, voltei ao mesmo problema. Nota zero.
Frustrating App. Most times we open the App we are forced to log back in and go through the tutorial on how to use it. Please fix this update for 2026. still a poor experience with the hon app. the 'goodnight' function is very hit and miss. If you can get it to set the schedule and I would say about 10% of the time it will not set, you then have sometimes get woken up when it doesn't hold the pain cycle and finally if all that works you then struggle getting it to commence the spin in the mornin
app jams each time I try to access my air conditioners, even with latest update on a google pixel 9, so my phone is not the problem. Now all my appliances have disappeared from the app and when I try to enrol them again it says that my appliances are enrolled with someone else. I've been contacting you since November and never get a resolution this is ridiculous! my ac's are running by themselves as they have schedules enabled that I can't change! submitted messages multiple times, no reply.
WiFi connection is terrible. I had to re connect the WiFi and suddenly it's not reachable? I haven't moved the WiFi or the dryer and the signal is good enough. Don't buy Hoover products. If the WiFi dryer has bad WiFi, imagine what else is bad.
Everytime you open the app and try to edit your air conditioner settings the app crash down and closes. A complete disaster.
You are the product. The app wants to harvest any and all data it can in order to sell it on. GPS location for a washing machine?! Utterly ridiculous. I now have to ensure WiFi is completely disabled in my washing machine.
After updating to the latest version, my washer dryer does not accept additional function/option after I add it to the program. For example, I changed the dirty level to normal and added an extra rinse, but the washer dryer did not accept it. Also, it does not accept if I tried to change the spin speed. It accepts any program with default configuration. Since that last update, the app works very well. Please fix this.
It barely works half the time.
I have 3 hoover appliances and this godforsaken app has never worked for any of them, regardless of proximity to devices or router. Utterly useless, no clue why it hasn't been fixed in all the time users have been telling you it's useless.

Don't understand the previous positive reviews.. The app looks nice but is horrible slow.. Adding air conditioning is a pain and takes ages... Never had such horrible experience to add appliances.. Switching between appliances is also slow like on a Computer from 1990...
This app can track my shopping habits and lower the fridge temperature when it thinks I'll be coming home with the shopping. A totally invasive and useless service. It can't however tell me the current temperature, it will only display the set temperature. This is a simple yet important piece of information. Please add this feature. What's worse is when it's in eco mode it will not display set temperature let alone actual fridge temp.

This app is horrible ux. 1. Why I should login/register to use my washing machine? 2. This app is so slow, that starting wm is just painful. 3. Do anyone tested this cycles search? I mean, searching for name is not working even if you enter exactly The Name! List is so slow, you waiting long seconds to scroll, if you enter to some entry, going back reset list and you wait again. To save some for later, you need save on new name, then you have 2. 4. Notification about finish came 40m later...
