all the ads have ruined it and it's gotten too expensive.
Don't get Hulu or Disney+ if you're going to watch/stream it on your Comcast cable box. After selecting your media and it gets to the ad break it'll freeze after the first ad making you have to pay to go add free or backing all the way out starting all over again and watching the ads multiple times. Of course that will earn them money from the advertisers because you're watching the ads multiple times. They're a scam, it's a scam!

The commercial mechanism is pure trash. I don't have a problem with some commercials, I chose the subscription that includes commercials. But the app always seems to find a way to show me commercials after I've already watched them. If I rewind part of a show that I'm watching and I happen to go past a commercial break that I've also already watched, I have to watch all those commercials again. This is why I prefer Peacock.

I already have an account, but the app itself won't let me do anything unless I "upgrade". this should not be a issue, but apparently, it is.

It is mainly the ads they are too long and a waste of time they should make the ads short so they have more people on the App. Me in 2026: still hasn't changed one bit. still does long ads for no reason.
I hate being told to select and ad, that's very stupid. everytime that happens I feel the need to unsuscribe to Hulu. I hate that sometimes when I choose a show after all the beginning advertisements dumb Hulu takes me to the previous episode that I had already seen, so now to see the new or next episode, I have to watch advertisements again as punishment for every using Hulu. so no, your platform deserves wayyy less that one star. IT DOWN RIGHT SUCKS!
Greedy :When you rewind a video to see a part you missed , you shouldn't have to watch commercials again you just saw 2 seconds ago. Left a review of too many commercials on Hulu last year. Still the case, , 2 to 3 commercials (ads) every 5 to 7 minutes of a 45 minute show. No other streaming service that has ads does this. It makes shows unwatchable. Don't get Hulu
stops all the time
when streaming on any of my 5 TVs with almost any show on hulu after the ad break there's a terrible static sound when the show resumes. please fix the issue

way too many adds!!! the shows i watch are 20 minutes long and i have to watch 5 minutes of adds for each episode. its insane!!
Always crashing on multiple devices and locations. Over 10 years and hulu cant seem ti have a soild service. Just google "Hulu keeps crashing." what a debacle. So if you like constantly having to reopen hulu after it abruptly crashes several times while watching tv shows and movieds. Then Hulu is for you. After this review is published some from hulu will respond with useless information on how to fix it that doesn't work for anyone. Progression equals garbage for hulu. They sneak in commercials
App is beyond slow and laggy. This is the reason I dislike Prime video/ fire stick as well. Somehow this one is much worse.
If there is one thing I could request and or complain about amongst all the streaming services I have. (Which is plentiful).... I'd ask for a RESET BUTTON FOR THE TV SERIES. People fall asleep watching tv series. Playstation shuts off after 2 hours. 4 or 5 episodes have been displayed while sleeping. A PERSON CANNOT JUST START OVER. IF YOU START AGAIN. IT PLAYS THE LAST minute then credits. auto play. last minute and credits etc....
awful. every single thing is unavailable without the best subscription. total scam and i don't even pay for it my gpa does and I'm still super unhappy.

edit: keeps saying I'm not allowed to stream due to VPN use?? i don't HAVE VPN. LET ME WATCH MY SHOWS. keeps kicking on descriptive audio, which is really distracting. just bc I use subtitles doesn't mean I want a weird English voice cutting in to tell me I'm watching a cartoon? good to have accessibility features but they need to be optional. otherwise good app.
Always cuts off in the middle of a program and then you have to either reboot the fire stick or close Hulu and reopen. This happens several times a day!

my continue watching is rarely right. Also, when I try and minimize the screen, it glitches and messes up my show / movie.
I hate that this is our main platform for watching television there's always issues and it's almost impossible to delete recordings after you've watched them it's really annoying

I have three major issues with the app. 1. Some shows have a voice dictating even though the option is off. Only leaving that show for an extended period of time seems to fix it. 2. I've been kicked off for other people watching before. Only two screens can watch at a time, but if I'm actively watching, why do I get kicked and then get told too many screens are streaming? 3. The autoplay feature skips to the next episode early a lot. There should be an option to autoplay after the credits end.
Call too much money and I do not want it
