I've had this product of 4 months only. HORRIBLE PRODUCT, TERRIBLE APP, WORSE CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
Worse, experience ever and to get your money back.It's ridiculous. trying to return it after 1 day. And cancel the app is a headache 100% do not recommend.

Don't waste your money on Hume scales. They fixed it constantly failing to get bio readings, but any bug reports are met with non-stop questions for more details without any attempt to repro. Requires Bluetooth with your phone but also seems to upload to the cloud so it might as well be WiFi for less hassle.
Fix the update that does not calculate the hydration percentage! I've had the band and have had to reinstall the app a number of times for various reasons and the pod does not always connect to the band so it has taken several tries to get a daily reading. Thinking I may have wasted money on both of these items. Having had my health score drop more than 200 points, I should be dead. This whole system is garbage
The most frustrating app I've ever used. Forces me to install other apps that I don't want, before letting me see the data that I have paid for. I hate this app so much. If you just want to see the data from your scales, good luck wading through all the upsells and extra stuff it's trying to force you to buy and sign up to. Awful, terrible, annoying, I regret buying this more than I can ever put into words. if you ever get into the app it's a horrible design, everything dark and text too small.
charge you a year for a 30 day free trial. app works then suddenly stops, I can see my results coming up on the app but once its finished, nothing sends. my wifi is on, nk other Bluetooth around me
This is singularly the biggest ripoff I have ever encountered. The app rarely measures anything, and I've done all of the recommendations (moisten bottom of feet and hands, reboot, recharge, reinstall app, etc.). The customer service is practically nonexistent. I tried to return it and like a fool agreed to keep it for an additional 20% off after FINALLY getting a response to my email. This joke of a company needs a class action suit filed against it.
received the hume pod yesterday (5/1/26) was really excited for it as I have turned over a new leaf per say on my health. payed just over 230 bucks for it through a HSA sight and I can't even sync to it. didn't even look for reviews on it just because it was on the TruMed website and thought stuff was legit, boy was I wrong! after reading numerous bad reviews, added cost for the app ( which I had no idea about) I realized that this product is TRASH! No thank you Hume Health
Signed up for the 3 day free trial went to cancel the next day and they'd charged me for the year never providing the free trial. Hume refuses to refund. Claiming on their site not here in the app store that you must ask for refund before cancellation. Thieves.
Just got the scale and have been trying to create my account on this app. everytime it gives me a code it says invalid code. tried over 5 times. Very frustrating with how expensive this scale is.
I sent my Hume Band for return over a month ago and they still haven't processed my return. I still use the Hume Pod scale and so they keep asking for a review. When I tried to leave a negative review in the app, there was an "error" (I assume it was intentionally blocked.)
Waste of money. I bought the scales, and in 2 months of weekly use, it has successfully synced with the app twice, and only got the latest weight. Its impossible to track anything with this.

There are no instructions you justhave to wing it. I accidentally ordered 2 Humes After 4 emails they finally sent me a return code. It's been 3 months since I sent it back, and still no refund.
According to the YouTube channel TheQuantifiedScientist (which analyses fitness trackers), the Hume band app lists fake scientists on their website, and the device appears to be a rebranded health tracker that you can buy on AliExpress for about $23 (model 2208A, and it connects to the Hume app as demonstrated by TheQuantifiedScientist). In addition, he shows that the measurements are among the worst of all the devices he tested. I was going to buy a Hume band until I watched his videos.
waste of money and zero customer service. i bought the scale and it wouldn't scan me. it kept telling me I need to notnwear socks and other stuff. I was bare feet. they refuse to accept item is defective. they keep wanting me to prove to them it is defective before they will pay for shipping. so return policy is a joke unless your going to spend money to return their junk product. looking through the app all the great stuff requires a membership.

Expensive scale with an atrocious app attached 🙄. Every morning I have to weight myself 3 to 4 times for it to finally register on the app
the data connections are inconsistent and wonky. none of the other apps that pull data from Google Connect have issues but HUME does. This speaks to a fundamental issue in their pipeline.
scale will not pair with my phone
complete junk dont waste your money. first scan it took six attempts to scan. then number it sent me matched the cheap non handle scale from six years ago. I requested a return and they refuse return shipping claiming it is working properly they offered me 20% off and 3 month subscription for free to keep it. I attempted to sign back into account and my axcess is blocked. tells me I am registered when I am using sign in part. Zero customer service afte bankers hours. waiting on return slip
since the recent update, it no longer tracks and records the info from the body pad. I don't know what they've done software side but it takes much longer and now is interrupted midway with AI Yesterday and Today goals and then says it failed. Try again, still fails.
Please do not waste your money on this subscription. The AI health insights are pointless because the data from the Hume Band is erroneous. Please do some research and you will see that the hardware is a cheap generic fitness tracker from China called the 2208A Smart Braclet. It is available on AliExpress for £27. Hume claims their worth is in the insights but the insights are base on nothing. I went from having a standard HRV with Garmin to that of an Olympic swimmer according to Hume.
Do not waste your money on this junk. The scale, specifically, is garbage. For the price of this equipment, we got totally ripped off.
I am using the band for a few weeks and i have to say that the inaccuracies are strong. and the fact that the data cannot be edited makes every calculation based and the flawed void. my sleep is misjudged 3 nights every week ... that makes me believe that there are other inaccuracies.
Today is day 50 of no refund from Hume Health. The tracker lags and turns itself off. On March 3 I emailed the company about a refund. I was told it would take 7 to 10 day. It has officially been over a month. I have been told that it is processing and to wait for an email saying it gas arrived. I am extremely disappointed by how this company handles their refunds and the technology of the tracker itself.
The only thing that accurate is my weight. I did a scan at my gym and another facility, they both are very similar. The HUME scale is WAY OFF. I've tried it ever and over and my heart rate will go from 84 to 109 in less than a minute.
Excellent Marking... Horibble Costmer Service. Still haven't received my refund after numerous weeks. Started lodging complaints from 24 February. Hume just say they did make the payment. Apparently a Refund was made of $202 After paying $512. It’s a month later and nothing. I will NOT recommend Hume to anybody!
my galaxy watch measures hrv and allows an ECG it's sleep tracking is way better than this severely disappointed plus it says 0.0.5.2 for the firmware Ive tried all the faqs, hacks and tricks to try and get the firmware to update and before someone at hume asks if I tried entering my weight yes it's entered. now it points me to get a manual firmware push. I wouldn't even sell this to my worst enemy and here's a tip start being truthful about.
PLEASE DO NOT, do not buy this product, I returned a band I had for less than a month after my Dad passed and they have made NO efforts to return my money. I launched an inquiry for the charge on my credit card and they can't help me. This is the WORST company ever, their communication with consumers is horrendous. I want my money returned to me now! Starting an inquiry with BBB and warning everyone via social media to stay away. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT TO PURCHASE.

We'll see if things improve as time goes on, but thus far, disappointing.
trouble with steps and active calories
I didn't get the offered 30day free trial. I had to pay straight up. Sleep tracking has gaps in it. They sent me another band out, so I will check if that one makes a difference, but the offer of a 30day trial not being fulfilled has somewhat frustrated me.
Overall the app is good and provides a lot of valuable insights into health metrics. The one big let down for me is the app has no functionality to notify the user that their Hume Band or Hume Pod battery is getting low and requires charging. This is less of an issue with the Hume Pod because it has a display but the Hume Band does not, if you don't notice it has gone flat you miss out on recording data for that day/night. I will revisit this review if the Devs fix this with an update.
I purchased the hume band and it doesn't track my activity levels at all. I hiked 7 miles over rugged high altitude terrain with over 15000 steps and my hume said I only burned 18 active calories. This is an example of what happens daily. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and resynchronizing my band and now it is not tracking my sleep or my active minutes. very disappointed! Don't waste your money.
Everyday before weigh in, i have to go into settings to reconnect. The weight is not consistent, I can step on get one number, step off and back on and get a 5 lb difference . Very frustrating. The band has been amazing as far as I know. The app itself is decent. wished it some categories it would explain how to improve.

I love the scale. I hate the app. You have to click into almost every piece of different information instead of being able to have everything on one long page for a single readout. The way they do it now, I have to upload a ton of screenshots for my AI to analyze. Suggestion: create an option for a downloadable PDF that we can save.
your bluetooth always has trouble syncing up. FIX IT NOW or the scale is useless.
unintuitive UI. trends unclear. variance in results. didn't allow me to give review unless I indicated it would be 4* or above.
app is not easy to use. Slow to sync with watch and does not update automatically. Disconnects or won't stay paired up with the scale. App should have the ability to add in your weight manually.
