This app is so slow,there are unnecessary lags waiting for something to happen, the app also has regular tech issues where the order simply will not process. Everything else on my handset including other apps work fine. it's simply corporate refusing to allocate suitable funding towards IT. Do better HJ's

absolutely horrible, wish I could give it negative! app was the slowest to load I'd ever seen making it frustrating to use, by the time I finally got my order in my free 30 min item (which never added to the cart properly anyway) had expired. I paid through PayPal, got taken back to the app and it timed out before putting my order through properly, when I arrived to pick up the staff knew nothing about it. deleted immediately after!

HORRENDOUSLY unresponsive and slow. if you're willing to lose a birthday while you wait...it *might* be worth the wait................good luck.
Simply does not work. Shake and wins cannot be added to orders in the app, you can't see the menu because the app perpetually hangs when you try to. Even if you do get through once or twice, expect multiple crashes, followed by constant hanging. This has put me off hungry jacks as a whole.

Current version is a joke. it glitches on store location search, adding menu items and in general use. Bring back the previous version or fix this & make it faster/more user convenient.
had to uninstall then re-download app now it's saying I don't have a hungry jacks near me when I definitely do. :(

So slow, non responsive, constant "sorry something went wrong". An utterly rubbish app. No I'm not emailing the developers, you can see here by the reviews its absolute rubbish so fix it!!

Endless loop on location selection
uninstalled it as restaurant menu wasn't loading, and now it won't show any restaurants near me. horrible app.
Signing in doesn't work. The menu doesn't work. Ordering doesn't work. Every single button is accompanied by loading.
Slow, sometimes logs me out, and today it's not showing any Hungry Jack's locations in the app so I can't order anything. Trash.

WORST APP IVE EVER USED. they tried fixing it but still has the worst issues and glitches. I've never seen a fast food app so bad, something meant to streamline use is SO BAD. PLEASE FIX IT!!!!
billion dollar company cant even get an app to work properly is amazing, missed out on my purchase because the app wouldn't even recognise i was infront of the damn store, amazing work guys 10/10
slow, not working, something went wrong error when trying to check out, staff say they can't do anything about it
App was working before but now I can't even log in.
Shame we can't give it 0. So slow, was taken to PayPal, paid and then it timed out without sending my order through. Staff did sort it out, but a terrible experience, deleted immediately after.

Loading forever after updated to the latest version, was working perfectly fine before update, now stuck on loading menu, free item can't add to cart, if lucky I was able to add items to cart but then couldn't check out always say problem with my order, so far tried approx 10 times only 1 time success for app order, can you bring back the previous version please????
brw update now shows a $4 whopper and on my other phone its a $5 whopper so i have been over paying many times who will compensate me for the times i have been overcharged by $1 each time i use the shake n win???
hopeless payment system, fails MOST times, but they still get the money each time. Failed 4 times today, cant order... gave up. Waste of time
This app takes forever to get through to the order number and that's if it ever gets past the loading screen for it. You can literally sit there for 5 minutes while it's "sending to the kitchen" and nothing. Please fix it.
Stuck on loading menu, but menu never loads. After 20 mins of fighting with this app, I went to McDonalds. Good Job on having app-only deals then releasing a non functional app.
Whenever I get a free item on shake and win, it doesn't let me add it to my cart and just lets the time run out.

suddenly, i caanot log-in this app (keep loading page on it for ages and never goes to the next) also cannot change my password. I clicked to change password 3 days ago via sending email but have not receive any email from HJ till now. how amazing it is. cannot believe this issue. are you guys fixing or not?
There is meant to be a deal at Adelaide Crows games where when they kick a long range goal you get a free Whopper. However when the notification shows up on the scoreboard it never works. Restaurants used to honour it anyway. but now they don't even do that.
Really no excuse in 2026 for such a slow app. Today I cancelled my order because the app wouldn't change my store location - each time timing out after a couple of minutes
app is beyond slow, you want me to pay insane prices and eat here, fair enough, at least let me be able to order within the century, absolutely infuriating
Terrible app. Scanning QR code on the voucher meant the cart would constantly empty. Instead entered the code in manually. The UI is slow and clunky. At the drive thru it required location services and pointed me to the wrong menu in settings. Why bother when I was sent to the waiting bay anyway 🤦🏽♂️

Can't order on my S25 via app, have tried multiple times, updated and tried on several different occasions. After checkout and putting in payment details, it just loads for 10 minutes and does nothing, today it was 15 minutes and by the time we got to the store we just decided to give up. very dissapointing but thankfully theres always a maccas close by with a working app.
this app is the slowest app I have ever seen, loading time is incredibly long, waiting 30 minutes just to load menu, this app doesn't work.
