Update- AVOID ANY PRODUCT USING THIS SOFTWARE - I can not even start a quick start workout after the entire screen locked up and became unresponsive and I had to physically restart the treadmill. Horrible software tied to an exploitative business model that renders perfectly good fitness equipment almost unusable without paying at least 50 dollars a month
I have used this app for 6 years. It has been a long time since rated it. I got an email saying that the developer has responded to your review. I look and my review has gone! I use the app with my proform elliptical and recently the metrics display has been dreadful: useless metrics take up too much screen space and useful ones are all lumped together, meaning that you can only see one at a time! It's a great app, but this is too distracting during workouts to ignore.
worse decision ever. They want to charge you by everything. You paid thousands for an equipment then you have to pay it again for using it. that sounds like abuse to me.

Fails to load workout.
A recent update has caused this app to no longer display elapsed time when connected to my exercise bike; it went from 6 stats displayed on screen to 4. I was pleased with the app before this happened. Further, I get a submission error when trying to report this issue within the app. This app won't let me connect to the Strava app with a free account. It requires me to subscribe and pay a monthly fee to do this.
way too EXSPENSIVE!!! way more than going to a gym! bring down the price!!! I don't even need pro which is WAY over priced! i need plus and they wont even offer a yearly plan, only monthly!!! well you are not gonna get my money! do better! oh and the app.is mediocre!!!
The workout menus are all jumbled up now. I select a walking workout to use with my elliptical and the app no longer allows me to pair my Pro-Form cross trainer with ANY workouts. Not sure what has changed but this latest update for android stinks.
I cannot connect to my treadmill
Just wondering with all the advancement in technology app is still doesn't have a rewind/forward feature also workouts are not available through web browser.
I bought the $1500 treadmill - they raised the price of the service plan. To get full functionality on the treadmill I went from $100 a year to $300 a year. I couldnt afford that so I just bought the basic membership which allowed you to watch the videos on your phone and a select few on the treadmill. Now I can pay $300 or only use the manual setting on the treadmill. All that and they can't even make the app work right on my phone or online. Rivs is the only good thing about iFit. Horrible!
Bought an x16 eliptical, have an account with a membership... won't connect to the machine. When I log into the machine it doesn't acknowledge the membership. But thankfully it keeps advertising for me to upgrade. This was a very expensive machine that nordictrack has the gall to want $40 month on top of... for an app whose functionality feels like its been vibe coded. Maybe hire someone to fix your technical issues before charging that kinda money.

impossible to cancel your membership and re-up somewhere else. in fact, it's impossible to upgrade your membership or do anything with your membership. it's useless
cant really do anything
we specifically purchased the pro subscription so we can use it at home. We had a roku, and the app wasn't loading, and wasn't even showing our favorites when it did load that section. the other categories took 20+ minutes to load and only showed the workouts not the series, and isn't showing all of our completed workouts. I thought it was my TV, so I bought another tv with Google operating system, and the same problem. what's the point if you can't get to the workouts. go to pelaton!
I can no longer connect to workouts on my treadmill. I get a message to upgrade to Pro. I can't upgrade via the machine or my phone- I get an error that my membership is handled via a 3rd party - Google Play. My Google Play membership expired 4/7/26; however, when I log in to IFIT my membership status still says IFIT Train. There's a message saying If you’ve canceled your subscription through Google, please check back on Apr 7, 2026 to renew here - but there is no way to do so. I need help.
I've only been able to connect once to my Treadmill from my Samsung Watch. App needs further development.
Wildly overpriced software that runs about as fast as AOL on Windows 95.
This app used to work with my Pro-Form elliptical and reclining bike machine, but the bike mode isn't supported now. Shouldn't upgrades make an app easier to use?? I will be canceling my subscription.
my manual workouts are always locked. I cannot replay them. This is such a money grab.
have asked for help to calibrate my treadmill that's only a year old and they say it's on the app and it's not. it's stuck on #10 incline
Can NOT recommend iFit machines. Requires you to register ("free" but price is your personal info), the machine take forever to start up because they are dependent on the console (which is just a tablet for the treadmill) and requires updates (so in time, the console will slow down) and on top of all that, the console does not recognize when I am pressing the digital button. My Proform 990 that is over a decade old performs more reliably & quicker than this new Nordic Track.
cant connect my equipment to the app, promo code that came with equipment is expired, nothing is working and the camera is sus.
Useless. Just opens up a black screen. Using the latest version on a Pixel 7.

this review is mainly for the ifit app we downloaded through our firestick. when we toggle through the categories, nothing appears. then we go to search and type in "yoga", or "bike", and nothing comes up in the search. it will say "83 results" or "65 results"...but 75% of the time nothing appears. I have to go to the settings on the firestick and force stop and clear cache on the ifit app almost every time.
AI coach sets a goal e.g. 3 workouts per week. However it doesn't track them. having lots of tracking issues. contacted the email and told it's not monitored. No way to contact customer service. cannot report issues in the app. get error " we ran into a problem submitting your feedback. please try again later as we value your feedback". it's been 3 weeks. on latest version
I could not login as I made an account through google login on the website, which is not available in the app. had to reset the password, which did not work at first. also, the app does not have a casting button. lastly, it's terrible that you have to use the app and can't just use the website to access the workouts.
not for phones
I purchased the ifit+ membership only to find that my phone won't pair with my touch screen norditrack treadmill. Now I can't get a refund and I'm stuck with useless workouts that don't pair with the super expensive treadmill. such a scam.
I have subscription with Google but app still saying Free account. when trying to submit a ticket, guess what, an error occurs.

Just bought a used Nordic Track bike, signed up for the $15/mo membership and the membership doesn't show up on the bike. Bluetooth doesn't work. Continual nag to upgrade to $40. Just basic 'free' stuff, I guess. No thanks. I can use my own tablet to watch what I want and manually adjust the bike. Dumb to be tied to an app anyway. Other than that, nice bike.
This has to be the worst apps and fitness ecosystems out there. No real core functionality. I purchased a treadmill and can't use it for anything but basic running without a subscription. Which would be my fault if the damned thing wasn't basically an advertisig machine every time I step on it. Plus the app is unstable, unusable and the thing KEEPS logging out on my treadmill. The login process is appalling. And I've never had to verify I'm human so much with anything! Junk. Pure Junk!
Bought a year subscription through Samsung Health app and I can't even see the ifit library through the app let alone access the videos. iFit and Samsung just robbed me of $50 because contacting them is intentionally impossible. Response, they aren't available through the Samsung app and everything is up to date. Taking money and not delivering on your promises is a very iFit thing to do. I've had iFit before. It is disappointing because I like a lot of your trainers but forgot you are crooks.
Complete waste of time and money. The workouts and platform are great. LOVE IT, when it works. Spent more time trying to get it to work properly then actually working out.
Terrible app for expensive program. I cannot fully relate how awful this app is. Horrificly slow, cluttered, without cogent organization it is a workout in and of itself to use. The search function is ridiculously bad. For hundreds of dollars a year, you'd think the associated app would be phenomenal. Think again. Do better iFIT. This app stinks.

Update 2026: Fantastic, now rebooting during workouts 🤦♀️ 2025: can't even open strength workouts now. tried clearing cache etc. Epic fail. I thought it couldn't get worse, but it did. I'd contact support if this wasn't such a regular thing. What a waste. Almost looking forward to the machine breaking so I have a reason to get out of this terrible app ecosystem. Will miss the trainers.
in order to get connected apps like Google fit to collaborate with this I have to be subscribed at a monthly cost which is unfair and uncalled for we strive to aim and be healthier it should be free to have your own data a monthly subscription for some of the other features I can understand but the machine I have for this app is basic and doesn't read heartbeat another hidden cost to add the device I have other apps that do just as much and for a less monthly subscription or even for free
I was always a pro member but due to the high cost I went with the train version. I have been trying to connect my treadmill to the app on my Samsung tablet for over an hour. so much for my quick workout today. I have tried restarting uninstall reinstall checking wifi etc. I give up for today.
Please develop a version of this app that is compatible with my Samsung Chromebook which also has an Android OS. My Chromebook has a 13" screen vs the 6.8" of my cellphone. I'll rate the app much higher if I can use it with ALL of my Android devices!
not reliable. One day it'll connect to my machine, the next day it tells me I need to unplug my machine for 10 seconds and try again, too much of a hassle.
