basic things require paid subscription
Had an original pro licence that wasn't honoured now expect me to pay monthly for somthing you can do on Tasker, automate or macrodroid for a one-off charge.
another company that started out with good intentions/products and then got greedy and stopped caring as much about the community as it does robbing you of monthly fees
Absolute Garbage 1 star is too much for this bug ridden Garbage. Can't believe play store even lists it let alone allows these criminals to charge a subscription for it. Can't even create the simplest routine. Went to set the date but doesn't work. Not going to even bother wasting my time to explain the rest. Long story short the app has been uninstalled and subscription cancelled. Never to return.
£130+/Yr 😲!? When this first came out, it was worth the effort. Now, for me, it's time to uninstall. Shame ☹️

i wasnt able to create a single entity. In 10 HORRIBLE first 10 minutes of using this app it tried very agressively to force me to pay BEFORE I EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT IS THIS APP. Its everywhere. Every button you click - redirects you to pay page. Its horrible...

due to the downfall of Google removing every useful app and devices (exp Google nest which only had very short run span they discontinued the service for it like Google glass along with keep note location reminders etc etc) I really have no use for this app since they restricted every free control of my devices and this is just taking up space on phone since I can't do anything really useful with it. I like this app when I had control over my devices but now.....I hate what googles has done.

They've gone money hungry. I used to be able to start my roomba when I left the house, and have it stop and dock if it was running when I came home. Since the Feb 23rd 2026 update, this functionality is gone "because it uses PRO features." Specifically, it talks to my Roomba. Way to go IFTTT. Your money grubbing has lost you a long time customer, and cost you a bad review. I'm sure you're heatbroken.

saw a "free" version to do 2 applets. Download and it's a monthly plan? Then saw it USED to be free. Then a "free for life $1.99." Then add more and more charges until we are at $8.99 per month? Here's a thought, keep your promises and don't lie.

The ifttt app on my Galaxy watch 5 pro shows install on phone & when clicked opens Ifttt on my phone which is already installed. The watch app is now broken & needs fixed ASAP... 🙄🙄
It's a shame to see it. Free tier is very lacking in features and it's very aggressive with advertising Pro.
deleted my applets when my payment lapsed. definitely not going to pay again since everything I made is gone.

*Edit: I did try this app again. The one in particular that I created years ago was insanely useful! that would be the reason I would have come back to this app. I created that connection like I created it granted that's what your app is however it was already created by me! And you were going to charge me the pro account in order to get access to the thing that I created on your app with all of my data attached to it!? get out of town. everything just seems dead in the app. sorry man.
doesn't work on many phones
Was really terrific when I joined & it was free, they can't help themselves & continued to raise the cost. From 1.99mo, to 3.99/mo,to 5.99/mo now they are raising the cost to 11.99/mo. I canceled my service & moved to n8n

They're not transparent W/this app AT ALL. DON'T DOWNLOAD. YOU'LL BE CHARGED WITHOUT YOUR AUTHORIZATION!! ⭐NO WHERE DOES IT SAY "You'll BE CHARGED$26.80" it's a FREE app! UNACCEPTABLE! Billing will fix error & refund my $ & app designers will fix this & correct it by NOT BEING ABLE TO CHARGE PEOPLE BEFORE THEY GIVE CONSENT TO DO SO!

I've had an IFTTT since it originally came out. I've only dabbled with it off & on. It helped filled in some gaps on some services, but most of my applets became redundant as my apps & services matured. Last year I created a simple geofenced applet to log a date & time into a Google Sheets row. It used to be free. Now it requires a Pro subscription. I'm not paying for an app that keeps removing free features & putting them behind a paywall. I have now deleted my account & will find a better app.
Too expensive and doesn't work
first impression was not good when the "continue with Google" button didn't work; so I sign up with my email and then I get IMMEDIATELY paywalled!! can't even continue without giving them your card information and signing up for a 7 day free trial! lol no thanks, here is your 1 star.
as soon as I paid the $12 for a subscription to pro+, it said I hit my rate limit. rate limit hit in 3 days?? what is the point of the app at all if the limit is 100. waste of time and money. I would pay triple for no limits. Maybe I can get a refund for this since I just paid today.

Used to be a great app. Almost everything requires a subscription now.
only 2 applets is not enough and now this service is useless, I get limiting it for free user but not that much when you use to be a completely free service with unlimited applets.
they have this on the app "Polling Applets run after IFTTT reaches out to the trigger service and finds a new trigger event. Trigger checks occur every five minutes for Pro subscribers. this is 10000% not accurate Ive been updating this morning the sheet where the applet is supposed to pull the information from every 5 minutes since im a pro subscriber and nothing has happened. Just wanted to let you know that I cancelled my service. Im only glad that i didn't wasted that much money on you guys.
