I made a playlist, they play one song from it and insert three - four of theirs after each from my selection, so you can never really hear your selection

I use iHeart for podcasts and .. it kinda sucks. the app will only play top down. so it is in reverse chronological order. Which is backwards. Podcasts of radio shows should be listened to in the correct sequence. Additionally the green check (which means you've listened to it) serves no purpose. The auto play just plays whatever is next so you end up registering to stuff.

The new update made scrolling down through content stuttery instead of smooth, stopping the scroll every couple episodes. I'm about to start listening to the podcasts I like elsewhere. D-
Going back to FM radio the ads are ridiculous, you're listening to ads more than any program/poscast or song. The greed has really ruined the experience of this and other apps like it. But you can always pay for a subscription. 🙄
deleted several times won't get off my phone
they signed me up for a free trial without my consent. I had this app on my phone for months and it was free and then out of nowhere they subscribe me to it subscription. they were going to take $5 a month from me. I never consented.
constantly force opening on my phone, tried everything to stop it but with zero success, deleted now.
Zero stars if I could. More commercials than FM radio. Absolutely garbage.

When you layoff hundreds of contracted employees who helped earn the $3.865 billion in revenue last year this is how you loose support of the everyday listeners 🤷♀️

2025 and iHeart app loses functionality with VPN connections. really? VPN is here to stay but this app will probably fade away if their devs don't fix their application. edit: 2026 app still doesn't function with VPN.
I'm back up to two stars after a few edits I'm one of the big annoying problems have gone away. every update to this app makes it more and more bulky. Whatever episode I'm playing just refuses to play sometimes. but of course when I first hit the play button to start it up the ad and video plays right away very easily. The play icon just sits there thinking. Of course that's how it is.
I am SO SICK of my "Followed Podcasts" just randomly disappearing every few weeks. All my presets are still there, but the tab of "Followed Podcasts" just randomly empties itself routinely. haven't found a way to bring it back. just returns when it feels like it! The fact that "new" can apparently mean an episode from 2019?! The "quirks" of this app are so annoying. No way to set up a queue of episodes...?! Wild.
This used to be one of my favorite streaming apps. Now it loops songs, it doesn't line up with what's actually playing on the radio, & it cuts off some of the shows I listen to mid sentence. Very annoying & frustrating because I know this app used to perform much better.
